  • Are you tired of “free-for-all” style Clans?

    iMAC Army is a gaming community on the beginning stages of becoming international. Currently, we are predominantly on Xbox 360 with some of us working to set up Companies on other platforms. Our structure and method(s) of operation are mirrored from the US Army, with slight re-vamps in order to accommodate game mechanics. As an example, promotions can be earned one of two ways (1) Committee/OIC…or…(2) Merit e.g. participating in or leading a Squad/Fire-Team (Depending on the game size) in “X” amount of ranked matches. We do not do unofficial clan battles/skirmishes unless it is with our ally clans and for the purpose of intensive training.

    In addition, we do not discriminate based on age or other. Our thought…you are either a mature team-tactical player, or you are not! The qualities we look for in a recruit/enlistee are;

    * Mature: For tactical-team work…this is obvious

    * Active participants: It doesn’t take one, or a handful of people to make up a team…not to mention we practice…practice…practice

    * Someone who KNOWS when to lead and when to follow

    * Understanding the concept of, “follow orders first, question them later!”

    * A leader…

    What we offer;

    * Opportunity to game in a tried and proven structure

    * The chance to part of a community with objectives and goals

    * To be part of a team that offers you personal challenges of achievement(s)

    * Cohesive team-play that results in public recognition, and in some cases…$MONEY$

    * Opportunity to learn “real-life” leadership skills from active US Army NCOs and successful businessmen via higher level leadership positions and responsibilities.

    * Chance for position advancement based on merit instead of “click-ish advancement”

    iMAC Army’s 1st Battalion, Alpha Company has several enlistee positions available, however we are seeking higher level Officer and NCOs for 1st Battalion’s Bravo and Charlie Companies…which requires a much more driven individual than the standard Joe. Those reading this from the UK…our 2nd Battalion is open for recruitment as well.

    For those interested in checking us out with the possibility of enlisting, go to http://imac-army.com/forum

    For those interested in learning more about these “higher-level” opportunities, email me at imac_kingcasper@imac-army.com

    Ideas of available positions;

    All areas of enlisted personnel….our Platoons have three 9 person Squads. 1st Battalion, Alpha Company has 5 Platoons.

    Alpha Squad-Competitions/Ranked matches

    Bravo Squad-Training Squad

    Charlie Squad-Recruit (uMAC)/Boot-camp

    High Level Officers

    1st Battalion Colonel- Must have ability to regularly access (will discuss in further detail) Xbox 360, PlayStation, and PC team-based shooter games.

    Respectfully,

  • Are you looking for an Xbox Live Clan?

    Always looking for new talent!

    iMAC clan is always looking for new talent. We are currently primarily on CoD4, with a new Chapter being formed in CoD5 WaW. In addition, we are looking to branch out into other shooter games in the Xbox Live world. Our basic requirements we look for in a new member (1) MATURE, we don’t want the annoying kids (2) ACTIVE participant, we have a group-site (outside of our website) where we discuss and make decisions on important issues, making it important for members to participate (3) TEAM PLAYER, we don’t care how much you can do one on one, we only care how you can work as a team member (4) ATTENDENCE, all members are required to attend at least one of the two mandatory practice times during the week, however, real life always comes first (DUH…we got lives…well…at least some of us…LOL)…(5) RESPECT the hierarchy, we are democratic out of game, however, in-game we have a clear/strict chain of command that MUST be followed. If this sounds like your cup-o-tea, you can either shoot me an email [ imac_kingcasper@imac-specialops.com ]. Get in touch with me and we’ll work out the details. We are a relatively new clan with the vision of competing in gamebattles/MLG.

  • Would you like to be an Xbox 360 Live Clan Leader?

    The iMAC clan is starting chapters in various on-line shooter games, and we are looking for leaders willing to spearhead these chapters. Everything is already in place for an aggressive leader to begin recruiting and organizing a given Chapter (All the wrinkles usually found in starting a Clan has been ironed out). We have a website, all the group-sites needed for Chapters, personalized email addresses with an iMAC domain name, working Constitution/method of operation, a tried/proven hierarchy system, and much more.

    What we are looking for in a leader is;

    * Mature (preferably older).

    * Someone who has regular internet access.

    * Aggressive.

    * Someone who has the ability to recruit.

    * Someone who has the vision of competing in gamebattles/MLG.

    * Someone who can organize and maintain a relatively large group of on-line members.

    * Someone who prefers structure over a “free-for-all” system.

    If this sounds like something you would be interested in, contact me via email [ imac_kingcasper@imac-specialops.com ]. In the email, let me know who you are, a little about yourself, and what game you would like to lead a Chapter in. Once I receive this, I will contact you and discuss details if you are an appropriate candidate.

  • Does this, or does this not promote racism/segregation?

    I work at a place where we are always researching districts/schools websites and I am finding things like this more and more common. This was literally copied and pasted from a district’s website! Is it just me, or does this not teach the children by example that segregation is ok?

    AFRICAN-AMERICAN PARENT COMMITTEE

    We now have a Web page for announcements and information related to the African-American Parent Committee meetings and activities. Please click on "District 20", then "Parent Connections" and then "AAPC" right below the "Parent Connections". Thank you.

  • Would you want this as a president?

    Bloomington - Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign has $55,000 in unpaid bills for campaign events at Indiana University.

    The debts are for appearances made by Clinton, former President Bill Clinton and their daughter, Chelsea, during March and April leading up to Indiana's May 6th primary.

    Barack Obama's campaign, meanwhile, has already paid the over $108,000 it owed IU for two Assembly Hall events.

    IU spokesman Larry McIntyre says the university knew there was a risk that the bills would not be paid when they charged the campaigns for sound equipment, security and other needs for their events.

  • Rush Limbaugh: Urging Republicans To Commit a Felony?

    Liberals get a bit wiggy when it comes to electoral shenanigans in Ohio. On The Huffington Post, Ari Melber accuses Rush Limbaugh of encouraging Republicans to commit a felony by crossover voting for Hillary Clinton. Those "lying voters" are under investigation, although prosecutions are "considered unlikely," he reports:

    "Operation Chaos," Rush Limbaugh's campaign urging Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton in Democratic primaries, has been very effective. It doubled Republican turnout in Ohio and Texas, boosting Clinton and prolonging the Democratic race. But in Ohio, it was also almost certainly illegal.

    Ohio law requires that citizens genuinely support a political party in order to vote in its primary. To change parties for a primary, a citizen must pledge, under the penalty of election falsification, that she is affiliated with the party and "supports" its principles. Lying on the pledge is a felony, punishable by up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine. The law also stipulates that poll workers have a "duty" to challenge voters who are "not a member of the political party whose ballot the person desires to vote."

    Melber, a writer with the far-left Nation magazine, concluded:

    Limbaugh loves playing up partisan fights for his audience. But this is not only about politics. Limbaugh abused his listeners' trust and encouraged potentially illegal conduct. And after a Republican Justice Department spent years hyping voter fraud charges, now some of the most blatant election law violations are being stoked, repeatedly and unrepentantly, by one of the most prominent figures in Republican politics.

  • Will they come for you?

    First they came for the Muslims, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Muslim.

    Then they came to detain immigrants indefinitely solely upon the certification of the Attorney General, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't an immigrant.

    Then they came to eavesdrop on suspects consulting with their attorneys, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a suspect.

    Then they came to prosecute non-citizens before secret military commissions, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a non-citizen.

    Then they came to enter homes and offices for unannounced "sneak and peek" searches, and I didn't speak up because I had nothing to hide.

    Then they came to reinstate Cointelpro and resume the infiltration and surveillance of domestic religious and political groups, and I didn't speak up because I had stopped participating in any groups.

    Then they came for anyone who objected to government policy because it aided the terrorists and gave ammunition to America's enemies, and I didn't speak up because...... I didn't speak up.

    Then they came for me....... and by that time no one was left to speak up.

  • What is your thoughts on this?

    (CNN) -- Perhaps, now the candidates will play nice.

    For all their insistence on how unlike they are from one another, the three U.S. presidential candidates share some noteworthy family connections, the New England Historic Genealogical Society has found.

    Democratic Sen. Barack Obama, who has made his opposition to the Iraq war a linchpin of his campaign, is distantly related not only to President George W. Bush but also to another wartime leader -- former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

    Because of his shared ancestry with President Bush, Obama is also indirectly related to his rival on the Republican side, Sen. John McCain.

    McCain, it turns out, is a sixth cousin of First Lady Laura Bush.

    Meanwhile, Sen. Hillary Clinton, is related to beatnik author Jack Kerouac, Canadian Prime Minster Pierre Trudeau and Camilla Parker-Bowles, wife of Prince Charles of England.

    Clinton also shares ancestors with Grammy Award-winning singers Celine Dion and Madonna.

    The senator won a Best Spoken Word Grammy for the audio version of her book, "It Takes a Village." Rival Obama also snagged one in the same category for his book "The Audacity of Hope."

    Conservatives who sometimes accuse Democrats of being in bed with liberal Hollywood elites may have been handed one more round of ammunition by the Society's findings.

    Clinton, the Society said, is related to Angelina Jolie. And Obama is related to Jolie's boyfriend Brad Pitt.

    Don't Miss

    • The Political Ticker

    The New England Historic Genealogical Society, founded in 1845, says it is the oldest such organization in the country. Members spent three years tracing the lineage of the candidates.

    Among its other findings:

    McCain, the Vietnam War veteran who spent five years as a prisoner of war, descends from a long line of kings: Scottish King William the Lion, English King Edward I and French King Louis VII.

    Obama, the son of a white woman from Kansas and a black man from Kenya, is "related to millions of contemporary Americans - perhaps even a significant percentage of the population," the researchers said.

    He is cousins with six U.S presidents, including Lyndon Johnson, Harry Truman and Gerald Ford. He is also linked to American artist Georgia O'Keefe, the Duchess of Windsor and two men who signed the Declaration of Independence.

    Most surprisingly, Obama -- the man who could become America's first African-American president -- is linked by ancestry to Robert E. Lee, who commanded the armies of the Southern slave-holding states during the American civil war.

  • Do you believe Jesus is the Christ, a prophet, just another man, or fiction?

    I feel it is necessary to state my belief if I am going to ask yours. Thus, I believe Jesus (Yeshua, Joshua, etc…) is the Christ whom shed his blood for the remission of sins. He died, risen, and ascended into heaven and now sits on the throne of heaven and will be the judge of all mankind.
