What will happen if I turn off My Photo Stream on my Macbook?
I have been having issues lately with my phone (iPhone 6, iOS version 9.3.3) where I constantly get notifications saying "Almost out of storage" on my phone. I know where to check which apps are using the most data, and Photos is the highest on my phone. While I do have a lot of old photos I need to go through and remove, I have recently noticed that My Photo Stream is bringing pictures I save to Photos on my Macbook Pro (version 10.10.5, Yosemite) to my phone which makes my phone quickly run out of space. I tried deleting photos to free up space which briefly solved the problem, until I noticed pictures I recently saved to Photos on my Mac are appearing on the phone, eating up all the free space I d just cleared moments before. I want to turn off My Photo Stream to stop this from happening, as I don t want those pictures on my phone, but I m afraid I will be ending up deleting those pictures altogether. What is the right thing to do to solve my issue?
1 AnswerSoftware4 years agoI've noticed whenever I eat breads or potato foods too fast, I get a tight feeling in my throat. Once I drink water it goes away?
I wouldn't call it an allergic reaction because my throat isn't actually swelling or closing, but it's an uncomfortable tightening feeling when I eat them too fast. I've noticed this particularly with things such as dinner rolls or french fries. Sometimes it's if I eat any food too fast. I stop this feeling by drinking water and I can feel the tightening feeling coming on and the water stops it. If I don't get water in time, the tightening feeling gets intense and once I can swallow the water, I get these hiccup-like reactions in my diaphragm. If I drink some more water it usually goes away soon after. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I have GERD if that helps. Thank you.
3 AnswersAllergies4 years agoI want to close my pores in an effort to stop my acne problems. Should they be closed? What are the best ways to close them?
I have heard closing your pores can help reduce acne and stop the oiliness on your face, does this work?
4 AnswersOther - Skin & Body4 years agoIs there such a thing as "sidewalk etiquette"?
Such as, what side of the sidewalk to walk on. I frequently walk on the sidewalk in the city and experience so many people walking right into others walking the other direction or two lanes of people walking the same direction, shouldn't one "lane" be going one way? I use them like roads, we drive on the right so I walk on the right, oncoming people should walk on the [my] left.
9 AnswersEtiquette4 years agoCan pirated video editing software not trustworthy? I've pirated other things before but not a software like that.?
I had recently used Adobe Premiere at school and liked it and want to get it but would rather not have to pay so much money for it. Has anybody pirated it before/heard of it working fine? No issues or bugs or viruses?
2 AnswersSoftware4 years agoI like this certain rayon chenille blanket, if I bought a blanket that was only made of chenille, would there be much of a difference?
I like how the material isn't to heavy and make me hot like most blankets do. I want to buy one that's made of chenille and doesn't have rayon too, will that make much of a difference? Will it be more of a heavy material? I was planning to buy it online so I can't test it out in a store.
3 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling4 years agoWhy is it that the media is allowed to announce if a celebrity is hospitalized and have it not be a HIPPA violation?
Yet if a hospital employee were to say anything about it, it would be a HIPPA violation. Both invade the patient's privacy, why is the media allowed to do it and have it be okay?

And how would you say it in past tense? Freezing rained? Froze rained?
4 AnswersWords & Wordplay4 years agoWhy do I still get acne in my 20s?
I've had acne problems since I was about 12 or 13. I've been on numerous different acne medications and creams and topical gels and pads and nothing has gotten rid of them completely. And I notice people my age or even a bit younger and they have good clear skin and it makes me embarrassed that I am out of my teens and still suffer with acne. I really don't want to keep getting it through my adult life or end up getting some acne scars that won't go away. What have some people done to get rid of their acne for good? It makes me feel so embarrassed. I clean myself properly and take care of my body and try not to touch my face much to not make it greasy but it still keeps coming back in random breakouts.
7 AnswersSkin Conditions4 years agoWhat does it mean when someone writes at the end of a letter "Love, your #1" then signs their name?
Obviously I understand the "Love, *name*" at the end of a letter, but the "your #1" threw me off. It's a compliment nonetheless but I've never been called that in a letter, or at all before, so I'm just curious what it means without asking the person that wrote it (might be rude to question their gesture). Thank you.
4 AnswersWords & Wordplay5 years agoWhy can't I change the AC on my 2012 Chevy Malibu LT? It won't get off of the vent mode?
I used the outside air button on my AC panel to ventilate my car. The button has a light on it indicating that it is activated. Now the light won't go off since I want it switched to inside air circulation. Whether I hit the inside air button to activate that instead, or press the outside air button to turn it off or mess with the dials to make it turn off, nothing will make the light go off. I've adjusted the dial of the fan control (speed). I have tried turning on the Air Conditioning button, the light for that comes on while the vent/outside air button's light is still on. And if I press the recirculation button the light flashes 3 times and stays off and the vent's light stays lit. How can I turn this function off to go back to recirculation?

1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance5 years agoCan anyone identify what this rock is?
I found this along the California/Nevada border east of the southern portion of Death Valley National Park. It sort of resembles coral or some kind of fungi, yet has a strange, yet neat, blue patch across the top. The bottom of this rock is smooth, unlike the rigid top portion. Any/all help is appreciated!
2 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology5 years agoWhat kind of rock is this?
I received it as a gift so I don't have any background information on it (where it was bought, originated from, etc). All I can tell based on what it looks like which is a white outer rock and the inside has a silky luster similar to selenite. One small half of the "selenite" inside is bit darker, a grayer tone. If someone could help me identify it I would appreciate it.
