I'm trying to apply for grants for college and a lot of them want women going into a science. I'm wonder if psychology counts for that? I know it's a social science but would they count it as a science for grants?

I know this sounds like a silly question but I'd love to get a tattoo on my back or my neck some day and I'm curious, would being ticklish in those places affect on the tattoo? Would I end up with a stray mark or two?

So I've been thinking about getting spiderbites. I already have my lip pierced on the left side and it's a tiny stud but I'm not sure if I'd look good with spiderbites and I'm kinda confused on the whole thing. Since I already have a piercing with a small stud, would I have to get a larger stud for the new piercing?

And two. This girl said two studs might look weird and that I should get a hoops. They look kinda funny to me. I'd just like more options.

So I'd really like an dSLR camera. Being broke, jobless and, you know, broke. I can't afford to buy one. So I was thinking about asking for one for my birthday and Christmas. Doubling up. The only problem is that I've never actually owned a good quality camera to show my parents that I'm really serious about photography. It's something I can see myself doing in the future and I'd even minor in it in college. Anyway.

What would be the best ways to convince my parents to get me one?

They run as low as $450 and I've been doing the research. They wouldn't have to pay for classes, I'd teach myself.

I'd take pictures of my family, macro photos, "the world"

So I've been wanting to go to the city for years now. Since I was about 8ish, now I'm 17 and haven't really gone except for dinner twice. Anyways. I was thinking about planning a trip there for a weekend but I wanted to go alone. Would it be better if I waited until I was 18 to go? Would there be more for me to do then instead of going now?

I turn 18 in January and that would give me time to save up my money.

Anyways.

I was planning on taking a train down there. I'm from the Rochester area, which shouldn't be more than $100, right? From point A [my town] to point B [Queens or Brooklyn] back to point A.

Either get a hotel room [nothing fancy, just decent enough since I have mold and mildew allergies :/ haha] oor I was going to ask my friend if I could stay with him.

If I can't stay with him, I'll get my hotel and subway pass and just meet up.

Since he is from there, he could have an idea of what would be fun to do.

Is that a decent starting plan?

my parents have agreed that it is okay that I get a piercing! Which is awesome. anyways. I want to see what other people get. I'd really rather not waste my time on a piercing that doesn't look good on me.

I was wondering if this guy is just going to use me or if he really wants a ligit relationship.

We've known each other for 2 months now. I feel like he is perfect for me right now at this age. He understands where I'm coming from when I say things. He knows he annoys me and I know I annoy him. I can tell him anything. And he has said he likes me and when I asked why he said cause there is something different about me, I'm not like most of the girls he's liked//dated.

It sounded like a line but I let it pass cause it was sweet. Its long distance though so I don't know if he is lying to me, just cause you're using a phone it doesn't speak the truth like seeing someone. We'd see each other every few weekends [or as much as I wanted or something like that] he can drive so he can come up and see me.

BUT.

sometimes when we're talking, he brings up sex and I usually don't mind but if i want a relationship with you, because I don't want us talking about sex until we are dating.I feel he'd want to see me so he can get some. And at this point in my life I'm not ready for that. He says he "really wants me."

When we first started talking there was a lot of chemistry now there is a good amount but not as much. I feel like he's changed a bit.

He doesn't bring up a relationship often but he'll bring up sex a little more often. He doesn't bring it up all the time just enough where I'm questioning him. But he was the person who suggested we date. He asked me what I thought about it.

Because I'm planning on getting one [my parent's say it is okay as long as I pass my AP course with a B or higher. I had a rough start to the year so we made that deal blah blah blah]

If I can't get one here, what other states can I go to?

I just want to hear [see?] them so I can make a decision on whether or not I still want to wait until I am of "legal age" so it is less dangerous for me.
