I've had power cord problems in the past, so when my computer started having problems charging i figured it was the cord. I'd have to position it a certain way for the connection to be made and the computer to charge. Eventually it just stopped charging. So i bought a new cord, plugged it in and the computer won't even turn on. it's not the battery, and now I'm doubting if it's even the cord. can there be a problem on the computer itself...and not with the cord?

I need a yearbook theme for 2011. In the last 2 years we've used "Priceless" (from the MasterCard commercial) and "iyearbook" based on ipods, iphone, etc. But now we need something for this year. Our school mascot is a Viking, so if you can fit that in somewhere that'd be great. But really, any suggestions would be welcome.

Is it okay to have a pen name that is simply one name? I'm trying to find a name that will work for my novel and other pieces of fiction but I can't seem to find anything that fits. My real name is too common to use, and all the names I come up with are already being used as domain and blog names. And if I do become a published author I'd want my pen name to be my blog and website addresses. So I was thinking that I'd just use one name, without a last name. Would that be okay, or would publishers not like that?

I just thought of that and was wondering why? Because all the hamburgers I've ever had were made of beef. Not ham.

Does anyone know why we call them that?

I'm trying to find a small close knit type of community and have heard both good and bad things about all 3 of those places. Much to my friends disbelief, I'm actually looking for a rural, isolated town in Northern Alaska. But the thing is, I don't know much about the people and the culture of any of those 3 places. So my question is which one of those 3 do you prefer and what's life like up there?

How expensive is it to live there? What are the people like? What's winter like? (Cause I know it varies depending on where in AK you are) And what type of jobs to most people have there?

I hope to actually visit them sometime in the future, but until I can I'll have to resort to using the internet.

Sometime in 2010 I'm planning on traveling over to Europe. I'm wanting to travel throughout many different countries in Europe and was trying to find the best country/city to fly into from the Midwest. Chicago or Milwaukee. I was thinking possibly London or even somewhere in Ireland. But I'm not sure where to start this journey. I'm trying to find the cheapest flight.

My friends and I are planning a road trip around the United States for next summer. We'd like to stop in each and every state (minus Alaska and Hawaii), but we don't have very many ideas of WHAT to do while in those states. We'd like to see the "famous" sites as well as the smaller yet interesting places. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a SUV with at least 35 mpg, that costs under 28,000. I don't care what automaker it's from as long as it is offered in the Mid West.I did a little research on my own, but can't seem to find many newer models that have 35mpg that are under 28,000. Any suggestions on where I should look or even specific models and/or automakers?

I have a younger brother named Luke, and I would like to incorporate that into my son's without giving him the first name of Luke. I have an older brother named Joshua and I had used his name as the middle name for my 2 year old, Ryan Joshua. And I was wanting to continue the naming but can't seem to find anything that would work with the name of Luke. I have Seasons, Uni, OFB, and NL. But I can't figure out how to make my sims use anything they harvest. The only thing I can make them use besides what comes in their fridge is the fish they catch. But they can't use anything else, also--how can you make juice? (using apples and stuff)

Okay so I have a cousin named Katy, and she recently found out she's pregnant. But I was wondering, what would I be to the kid. A second cousin, a first cousin once removed...or something weird like that. Can't anyone explain the whole "cousin" thing?

My best friend and I were talking about going to college together a few months back. Now this would be perfectly fine...had she been a bit closer to my age. I'm a senior and she's a freshmen. We've been best friends for quite a while now, but I'm ready to go to college and don't want to wait another 3 years for her to catch up. We were so excited about this, but now that I realize how long I'd have to wait before I could begin my life...i don't want to wait. I want to get out of the house NOW!
