My cabin blower isn't working on speeds 1,2,3 but only runs on high.

I also found that my AC runs, on settings 1,2,3, (but not the blower), but when I turn it on high, the blower kicks on, but the AC compressor turns off, the electronic switch in my cabin for (AC) flips itself off, and the AC lines in the engine compartment freeze up.

So my questions are these.

Would replacing my blower fans resistor restore speeds 1-3, and a further question on that.. would doing so magically enable my AC to start functioning again or is the receiver drier just shot after all these years? (its a 2003 so it wouldn't surprise me)

I also have one more pretty important question.. my car doesn't seem to know how to idle correctly anymore since this happened, so im wondering if this resistor problem might have messed up my cars CPU.. my cars cpu tells me I need to replace the forward O'2 sensor, which I did and I reset that code.. but the check engine indicator is still on, the code popped back up, and when the car is fully warmed up, it revs on its own when left to idle, and now gets horrible gas mileage. Could it be my computer? or could it be that blown resistor somehow messing with my CPU which hurts its ability to regulate my engine?

I am looking into a 3D metal printer.

A unit that i can print with a direct laser without support structure, I need brand names and models please. something medium sized, i only need it to print objects roughly 3x3x5 inches in size,but reasonably detailed at the 1/16" scale.

Also, can someone please give me some information on the 3D scanner i have seen in some commercials where you can scan objects and import that into a CAD program.

I have a lightsnake guitar to pc interface cord, and tried installing it with plug and play on my win7 pc, the plug and play doesn't seem to work, although in the sound settings I do get the usb device.

I am told that when it is installed properly the cords light will turn solid and not blink, also, in the sound settings the sound meter does not move, I have tried using audacity to see if it works, and it does not. something is obviously wrong with my sound settings or drivers.

all I can find on the internet about it is the same tired "use the plug and play, when the light stops blinking its installed".. only problem is.. I cant get the light to stop blinking or my pc to use it properly.

the cord came with a driver disk.. for windows ME/98, and it says in the manual that if you have anything beyond that, then do NOT USE it.

any help guys, this is pissin me off, I wanna use this setup already.

I bought a bargain brand ps3 controller so I can play emulators but it did not come with any software disk etc.

can someone please link me a driver for this thing, its a snakebyte brand ps3 controller (wired).

The only thing I can find for it in reviews etc is a program called motionjoy, which apparently is total garbage that requires you be online and be spammed with adverts while you use the thing, otherwise the driver (which is hosted online) wont work. So no motionjoy tyvm.

any viable drivers or mini program would be very helpful. I used to have a controller that worked well and CAME with its own driver disk and mini program, but it doesn't work with this.

yo, im looking for a new MMO, the ones I play are pretty boring at this point and I do like a game that has some focus on musical instruments. ive played Mabinogi and GW2 which has instruments.

any ideas on a game any mmorpgs out there that have musical instruments in them? jam bands or impromptu recitals etc would be pretty cool.

I have a Frigidaire window unit model LRA067AT7

its about two years old, never had a problem with it until it started to smell REALLY bad, turns out it was filled with mold. so after watching a video on how to clean it, I opened it up, cleaned it properly, cleaned all the gunk etc out of it, washed it, dried it for two days, made sure all the components were dry, and then reassembled it and plugged it in. and it worked fine.. for about a day.. then its settings changed itself to economy 71 and it turned on and off a lot.. then it simply stopped working. I hit the GFCI reset button and cleared it.. reapplied power, the unit beeped at me, the buttons and temp meter didn t light up when it beeped.. then after a moment. all the lights flashed, the units temp meter read what I assume is a code of double numbers. 44-77. and then it simply went dead.. now whenever I plug it in or apply power to it, it simply beeps at me, and then stays off.

its clean, I don t see any damage, the circuit board seems fine, there is no internal problems. nothing binds, nothing torn or w/e.. I don t know how to check the pressure for the Freon but I would assume its fine since after I cleaned it.. it started to cool very quickly like it was brand new. so I doubt theres any leaks in it.

any ideas?

am curious as to what kind of metallic alloy could be used if an armored suit were possible. so to that extent, I was wondering what the best tensile strength of any metal is, or alloy combination would work best. something that could stop a NATO .50 in its tracks (or atleast stop/deflect it with enough strength left over to repeat the process several times without failure).

im told titanium has excellent tensile strength, but that tungsten would be the best when it comes to heat resistance and blunt force trauma because of its density.

any ideas from anyone experienced with metallurgy would be appreaciated, frankly if you have to google it, then your not the person I want to see an answer from. I can use google, and it doesn't render the information I want.

If someone discovered the cause and effect of such a thing as male pattern baldness and realized the cure for it. whom would one contact to see it put into use?

The only solution I can think of is a doctor, but what doctor would consider this information enough to pursue it, and not try and screw the creator of the method out of any right to claim discovery?

I've wondered about this since watching the first movie and seeing the airforce attack him. I asked a pilot once what would happen if someone (for the sake of argument) just appeared in the sky for a joyride in a fully functional, flying iron man suit? He said that most likely the military wouldn't shoot it down because it wasn't posing any direct threat, but that the FAA would be extremely interested in talking to me once I landed, if they could track down where, and whom I was.

what are your thoughts? ive heard a variety of ideas. the government would steal it- big corporations would try to buy it-foreign governments would spy on the inventor- etc.

so what do you think would happen, if someone built an iron man suit and decided the best way to reveal their invention was to just go on a public joyride over their local city? im sure it would be on the national news by nightfall at the very least.

I have a PCIE graphics card that i want to use to boost my graphics for gaming, it has two DVI ports on it, but my monitor is VGA. so i bought an adapter for it that works in this format.

graphics card> DVI cord> DVI-VGA adapter> monitor.

When i installed the Gcard i turned off the pc, unplugged it, grounded myself, installed the card. installed the wires to everything, turned the pc back on, the pc spooled up properly, but the monitor never came on. it was like it had nothing to recognize.

Also.. when i undid all this work and turned the pc back on in normal VGA format, my user profile was slightly corrupted and the pc force logged me in as a clone guest of my original user profile... not sure why THAT happened..

I am told that this did not work because the adapter needs to be ON the graphics card and that i should be using a VGA cord instead. It was not explained why except that the crossbar port on the DVI needs to be hooked up to the graphics card.

(i would assume the interface would be the same since the wire for the Gcard is a DVI and has that crossbar. (+)

i need to know what the issue is before i spend more money on exchanging or simply returning that adaptor.

is the Gcard messed up? or is there a bios problem? or, could it be that i was told correctly that the adaptor arrangment is backwards and the Gcard cant fully interface with the monitor?

in reguards to drivers, i dont know what model this card is other than its an ATI with no logos or model numbers on it. so i will have to wait until i can look at bios to see if it works or not. and then find the driver for whatever it identifies itself as to the bios.

I do not know the name of the film, it is an older.. im guessing mid 1970's film that if i recall was done with a lot of cel work.

the synopsis is of a boy who lives in london, and befriends a giant from (somewhere else iunno) and it turns out the giant is small by giant standards, and the other giants pick on him and want to take over our world, so the boy and this (small) giant, along with the military use some kind of potion to put the bigger evil giants to sleep and then pen them up in an enormous steel lined pit.

I recently purchased an AM3+ motherboard. a gigabyte 78LMT-S2P rev 5.1

it is apparently an AM3+ cpu interface, i have a cpu but it is an older phenom from 2006, an AM3.

When i purchased the board i was under the apparent missconception that the two types of processors .. intel and AMD, ment that all AMD interfaced universally. So i purchased this nice board, and found that the phenom would not fit. it apparently has 1 extra pin where the bump goes on the motherboards interface.

Could someone explain to me what the story is on what i read elsewhere of "an old cpu will interface with a new board, but an old board wont interface with a new cpu?

Also, could someone explain if it is possible to make this cpu function on this board, since im kinda out of money at this point.

also, if possible, since im no genious when it comes to researching pc parts (that much is proven) so could someone suggest a cpu i could buy for this motherboard once ive saved up some more? (if interfacing isnt possible) that isnt over 100 dollars?

I need pc parts . the question that comes to mind is. i am working with very little money, and i have been to several websites that offer barebone kits and/or parts, but i only need a new tower case, the motherboard, and the CPU. perferably a motherboard that will sync in size for the cpu from a MPC61PM-GM motherboard so i can just reuse the old one i have. (although im not really 100% the cpu is intact /shrug)

So my problem is working backwards.. in finding a motherboard just like if not just a replacment MPC61PM-GM.. and then a case that it would fit in.

my problem is, i do not know what motherboards would fit the cpu form that M-B, and even if i did, i dont know what tower cases would be compatible for that board. i know motherboards come in various shapes and directional designs.. and so matching a case to a motherboard seems kinda daunting for me since i have to do it backwards .. finding a case for a motherboard not a motherboard for a case.

Does anyone have any idea how i could use the CPU for my old MP board in a new MB but also put it in a new case? people keep telling me to "look online" but there are no guides on the pc websites that would suggest a method of how to match a replacment for the current motherboard, or case.

a little help please i dont know what im doing.

i am not a programer, i just want to play mabinogi, i dont have a windows OS to use so i DLed ubuntu, ive spent the last five hours trying to figure out how to simply install the mabinogisetup.exe that i downloaded.. ive gone through several differernt websites and their manuals.. their setup must be different because i dont see an applications tab in the software center.. and mabinogi does not show up in the trillions of lists of files available for install.. when i extract the mabinogi files it dumps them all into extra folders.. that i open.. leading me to the defualt folder.. allowing me to extract them.. again...wtf..

i have no idea how to start this program or even how to install it from the download folder

i have installed wine, although i dont know how to start the forking thing.. i opened a terminal window.. which does didly squat.

could someone do a step by step explaination of just how the hell i am supposed to go from this wierd desktop and on to installing mabinogi (a windows game but im told people play it on ubuntu also, otherwise i wouldnt have installed it) i have the latest version of ubuntu i think as i just installed and updated it all.

i go to the software center.. and from that point all the how-to websites lose me since theres no application tab anywhere on that fking menu. ANYWHERE.

I recently had to change my hard drive to a new computer. unfortunately the hard drive keeps booting to a recovery screen trying to "fix" the problems since all the hardware its been changed to is now different. i have no idea how to fix this and have no other pc to hook it up to other than this one.

i start it, it boots up and goes through bios and on to a choice menu of "recovery" or "start normaly". when i choose start normaly it ends up back at this screen when it reboots. when i run recovery it runs, then finalizes and says it cant repair the problem, then offers to shut down the pc. the BIOS is fine no errors etc.

Any ideas on how i could fix this?

a few questions since i just started the game.

1 does doing rebirth and starting at lv1 cause you to gain AP every new level .. even though you have experience in skills?

i ask this because if i can just redo lvs 1-21 keeping my current skill levels.. just earn a ton more AP going back through those levels, ill rebirth immediatly!

2. how exactly does one make money in this game?

i meen a lot of it. i need a ton of armor and sofar ive only figured out i can make about 3-4k gold an hour which is rather tedious since that is serious grinding.

and lastly

3. after lv30 i understand i lose half my bank slots and dont get beginners items when i log in. does that also meen i lose my horse pet from my free card? because if not, ill start leveling it.

over the last week or so ive noticed that my pc has slowed down dramaticaly, also my internets settings have changed, ive used the internet master reset button but its not changed back to its default state as a few programs are not longer in the list to switch back to. such as bing is now my search provider instead of google.

the primary problem though is this svchost.exe that eats up a fare portion of my CPU and memory. and when i turn it off, i lose sound on my pc, it seems to turn off my sound card. ive never had a problem like this before, ive run AVG and Malwarebytes to get rid of it.. AVG finds, this hidden rootkit file..

which i remove, it demands a restart each time to get rid of it, and its back the moment i restart.

any help? ive tried AVG, malwarebytes and looked into combofix. ive used system restore. check disk, run basic diagnostics with the tools provided in xp. ive even ran the autofix free program you can get with AVG although the moment i try to run the second scanning choice it cuts to a bluescreen and dumps kernel memory needing a restart..

any help on what this might be and how to fix it? without wiping preferably

I have the lenses from an old 1980s projection screen television that are made from glass and i think would work perfectly for making a telescope.

the problem im comming into is that i know nothing about the math behind making a telescope. (since im no good at math)

i was wondering if someone could help explain the very basics behind making a telescope in common terms.

such as how long of a tube i need and if its possible for me to use another one of the lenses can be used as the viewer peice.

the lens i have is exactly 3 and 7/8s in diamiter and the curve rises 3/4 of an inch from its edge to the center. i assume that the diamiter and focusing strength is what determines the length of the tube, so how long of a tube would that be?

also. since i have 3 lenses. would be be possible to use more than one to amplify the image down the length of the tube?

ive read websites about how to make one. but the only thing i could discern through all that math is the general construction such as blackening and removing any aspect of shiny from the inside of the tube . other than that i am sorta stuck, but i would really like to make one because i rather enjoy looking at the starts and moon.

Hey, i have just started playing a game called pathfinder the roleplay game. i have played vampires the masqurade before but not a full dice system game like D&D. and i have some questions for character creation and leveling.

the questions i have could be answered by the book, but i dont have access to one atm.

the questions are primed for a starting lv3 char.

simply put, i need to know how to , after making a rogue perfered class, stack on two levels of magus in terms of stat increase (abilities etc) ive read over the D20 website but the lack of analogus format doesnt help much for simple questions on how to level up a character. and herolab has magus class locked unless i buy the program.

also. i need to have someone give me a dumbed down explaination of what i need to roll in combat for say.. (attack with sword) so i dont have to keep asking the DM, whos only reply is "roll a D20 and tell me the number" because hes too impatient to explain what a modifyer is.

any help would be greatly appreaciated, i know yall are probably annoyed that i dont just go buy the book , but ive not the fundage.
