I am currently filling out the application for the direct entry plan officer position in the Canadian Forces. It tells me I need 5 references that I have known for at least 5 years. The problem is firstly, I'm in college now, so I can't use the teachers in high school nor can I use the teachers in college. Secondly, I certainly have not had 5 years of work experience, so I can't use any references from work. So I'm only left with personal references. Should I just put down all my references as personal friends? Those people are the only ones that I've known for at least 5 years. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

So I'm a student in college right now, I'm looking for an internship. Has anyone here ever used LinkedIn or monster.com? If so, what is the chances of getting a job? I'm a biology major, so I'm looking for something in the health or pharmaceutical industry. But I'm willing to do any job field.

I am at a bit of a dilemma here. I just got accepted into UCLA, UC Davis, UC San Diego, and UC Irvine. I got in as a biology major and I want to get into a medical school after I graduate. Do you think I should go to an easier school like UC Davis or UC Irvine, where I can be at the top of the competition and probably manage a higher GPA. Or should I go to UCLA or UC San Diego, where the competition will be harder and more people will be as smart as me, and I may get a lower GPA.

I am debating as to whether I should attend a four year university, but incur the costs of attending. Or maybe I should attend a community college and then transfer. I heard that community colleges don't have as good professors as do four year institutions. I also heard that graduate schools prefer people who have taken all their classes at a 4 year university.

I don't think that it will work, North korea is poor enough, sanctions will only starve more people, like in Iraq when 1.5 million people many of them children starved to death because of sanctions. maybe north korea and iran are trying to get nuclear weapons because they have a fear of invasion by the U.S. like iraq. they are probably trying to get nukes because they will be a good deterrent force against the U.S. military action. all because the Bush's axis of evil speech
