4 AnswersSpecial Education1 decade agoWhat do you know about Fujitsu Life book Laptops?
I bought a Fujitsu Laptop A1220, 15.6 screen, 4GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive, T6600, and Windows 7. Price was okay, I just want to make sure it is a good computer before I open the box. I can't find a whole lot online about their laptops. Guy at the store said they are rated #2 behind Apple. I personally think he is full of it. I can't find the info to support that claim.

2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHave you seen that the CPSC has banned kids dirt bikes for the lead content?
It is time to revolt!! They have screwed with our finances and now they are screwing with our Children and family life.
Regulations are outlined under Title I of the Act and sets the lead limit at “600 parts per million total lead content by weight for any part of the product.” That limit will drop to 300 ppm one year after the date of enactment and 100 ppm three years after unless deemed technologically unfeasible.
The Act states that the CPSC will publish a rule providing guidance about a general exception for parts or components that are “not accessible to a child through normal and reasonably foreseeable use and abuse.” That description includes swallowing, mouthing, breaking, other children’s activity and product aging. We’re no lawyer firm, but his seems like a possible way for motorcycles and ATVs to find some relief, though delayed.

7 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy are people in NY City so rude?
I have a friend who is living in Manhattan, Ny and works at a hospital in Bronx, Ny. She is the most kick back likable person I have EVER known. Everybody likes her and gets along with her. It is usually me who gets a little snippy with people. She just lets crap slide by. She is home (in So. Calif) for 2 weeks and said she hates the people there. She said they never smile and say hi, they act like the world revolves around them and they are just plain rude and unhelpful. she says her patients (she is a RN) in the hospital she is working in act entitled, completely ungrateful and are just plain nasty!!
Why are the people in NY so rude?
She had been all over the USA as a traveling nurse. She has NEVER met people as rude as the people in NY, NY

5 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoMy dog's back-end by the base of his tail is really itchy. Do you have any ideas how how to fix this?
He keeps biting an scratching. It just started this 3 weeks ago. I have given him 3 baths with a sensitive ski flea soap. I have sat and search and searched for fleas. He does not have any.
We were also thinking maybe a food allergy and are in the process of switching his food. He has had the same brand of food for over a year now and no problems.
I have also been giving him 1/2 a bendryl every night before bed. I could probably get away with a whole tablet he is a 100 lb Lab, but I do not want to over medicate him.
I'm trying to figure out any home remedies before I take him to the Vet. Money is really tight this year and we have had to cut cost in all areas in our lives.

U.S. athletes who choose to compete for Mexico continue a trend that not everyone likes.

Giovanni Lanaro was born in Los Angeles, grew up in La Puente, attended Cal State Fullerton, and coaches and trains at Mt. San Antonio College. Yet, when the torch is lighted during opening ceremonies this summer at the Beijing Olympics, the world's sixth-ranked pole vaulter will be with Mexico, not the United States.
"I will always compete for Mexico," said Lanaro, whose mother was born there. "I will never compete for any other country."
He is hardly alone in choosing to compete for the land of his heritage over the place of his birth -- a growing practice in recent years as the Mexican American pop

16 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWhy is it that we are going to pay for an illegal aliens 4th liver transplant?
I swear Calif. is so screwed up!!!!!! I'm going to be moving out of Calif. in the next 2 years to Colorado or Arizona. I'm so tired of paying for their medical care and their schooling.
Read the story ~
Ana Puente was an infant with a liver disorder when her aunt brought her illegally to the U.S. to seek medical care. She underwent two liver transplants at UCLA Medical Center as a child in 1989 and a third in 1998, each paid for by the state.
