I had lost a check back in May, found it cleaning out my sock drawer. I had quit (on good terms) working at this job in July. I called my exboss and told her about the uncashed paycheck. She said she would have to look into it as the check probably expired after 90 days. That was yesterday. I wrote her a text asking if she would reissue it for me. I disnt hear back from her yet. Questiin: does my exboss still owe me for that uncashed check ,or does she nothave to pay me since i dont work forher anymore? My taxes will have counted those deductions. Can she get away with "forgetting" to pay me?

His last day of work is the end of June. We will lose our health benefits , we have two teen aged sons. I work less than 20 hours weekly ( its all my bosses give any of us ) What course of action should I take to get health coverage? I am on a med that needs prescribed.

I have been getting a puff or two from my friend's cigarettes a couple days a week, but never inhale to my lungs, just in my mouth ( to taste the tobacco ) and some comes out the nasal openings when I exhale. Can this cause trouble with breathing or get one addicted to smoking ? I usually never feel any different, and never smell like smoke from this. But It worries me a bit.

Children of God? How do you feel about Jesus proclaiming this, and that we are all sons of God?

God chose to make a COVENANT with this family, but where is proof that means they are 'superior' for it. God chooses at will. We don't know why God chose them to be in covenant with him for all time. God presented himself to Abraham, walked with him, talked with him, and disclosed his plans to him. But it certainly doesn't mean Jews have superior blood. God chose these people to be in a covenant with him- for all times. The messiah would be born from this group of people. God also blessed Ismael, and assured Abraham that Ismael would ALSO be the father of many GREAT nations and KINGS upon the earth. So there are no 'superior' people God wanted to make a covenant with. He had to pick someone, and it is a blessing they should not take lightly. and should not be arrogant about. Its a serious business, with much responsibility that God expects from them. The days of killing people and taking over their homes and blowing up the Gaza strip are over. Those were biblical times. Even if the Holy Land 'belongs' to those God made a covenant with, they should not be killing and blowing up people while scooping them out of their homes, slowly and surely, just because they feel entitled to it by 'God'. Killing and stealing is an ill gotten gain. Killing is wrong period, and I believe this sentiment holds true for America's Dominance over the world agenda too. Do Jewish people REALLY believe they are superior? Does the world believe this?

and Ismael was from an Egyptian slave,Hagar, Abraham First son. Ismael didn't receive the blessing from Abraham for his inheritance, but God instead gave it to Isaac, and blessed the Jews with his covenant for all times. God ALSO heard Abraham exclaim, "Oh that Ismael could have this blessing! " ( Ismael was only 13 at this time ) In fact Ismael almost looks and sounds like- Israel. I found it very tragic and sad, heartbreaking even, that this child and his mother were cast away, banished, and he lost his father's right to inherit everything. God said that Ismael would be a 'wild donkey' and start arguments and pick fights with everyone all his life ( a little foreshadowing into the anger that would live in him as a result to what was done to him as a child? ) But that he too would be a father of great nations and kings. The Jews drop Ismael like a ton of bricks, and no Christian books ever mention him again. The Quran picks him up., brushes him off and continues the story of Ismael and Hagar, living in Becca, Seeing his father Abraham and making the alter to God, in a land unfamiliar, and not a friend in sight. To this day, there is still a tragic ending to this story. Will it ever stop with a reunion? Will these two 'brothers' ever be reunited as one? I see Isaac and Ismael, men, coming together and getting to know each other in a new way, one of respect. What do you say the ending will be?

Someone suggested we get a lawyer, before paying the bank, as the bank could take our money and STILL foreclose on our loan, due to our late payment history. Would the bank be able to do that? If they did, we would be totally without funds to even find another place to live! Any one help with advice ? I want to go pay the bank!!! But If they decide to foreclose on us, we will be out of money, and we did not resign up with them after we claimed bankruptcy 9 years ago. We could just leave, but we want to stay here.

And were the 'conservatives, the Republicans, of Lincoln's time ( he was a republican ) considered to be liberals in those time? When and why did the names change of the two parties? My friend says the Democrats were always Democrats, and the Republicans were Always Republicans, but the Republican party's views and agenda changed over the next century.

I am curious what you think Jesus would say about him. I know what Mohammad ( pbuh) has said concerning Jesus. What do you think Jesus would say about his own 'followers'?

and HOW does one get them to work again????? I hate when this happens. A whole bottle of spray and the sprayer quit.

Was Prophet Mohammad reciting about God of the Hebrews and Christians or Is Allah the God of the Moon? Everyone I know who is Christian says Allah is the ancient Moon God, and the people back then used the moon cycles as part of its rituals to Allah the Moon God. Is this true? Because in the Quran, It seems to me, that Allah being spoken of by Prophet Mohammad , is the same God that he refers to the Jews and Christians believing in.
