  • Which is scarier: Poltergeist or Psycho?

I haven't seen Poltergeist yet, but I don't know if it'll scare me. The only horror movie I've seen is Psycho and I didn't find it exceptionally scary (the scariest thing about it was the ending, which was more creepy than scary). Which of the two films is scarier?

Also, the new teaser released today for the Poltergeist remake didn't scare me at all.

  • Spirited Away Blu-ray?

I recently saw that Spirited Away, one of my favorite movies, was released on Blu-ray in Japan. However, because I don't live in Japan and importing it is too costly, what other retailer has it for sale or on pre order?

  • Accurate old testament movies or books?

Since I moved to Israel, I need to learn about the bible (old testament). My parents suggested I should find movies and books, but I can't seem to find any that people say are accurate.

  • What phone should I buy?

I made a mistake last year and saved 200 NIS for buying the Sony Xperia Z instead of a Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5. Now my phone is problematic, and I think any day now it could stop working. I'll give myself a budget of about $400 to buy a phone, but I don't know which.

The Nexus 5 seems appealing, but I don't know if Google will release a new version later this year, which holds me off from buying. Also, I'll only buy a phone that has either a Qualcomm on Nvidia SoC, 32GB's of storage or more, and made by a well known OEM (Samsung, HTC, or LG).

Also, I need the phone to last me at least two years without causing too many problems. For example, my Xperia Z's charging jack broke after 6 months of light use. I need a phone that won't have problems like this or any design flaws like on the Xperia Z which the back glass adhesive melts after overheating.

  • What amplifier board should I get?

I'm new to audio, and I found recently some working speakers off a TV with a cracked screen that someone threw away. I want to turn these drivers I found into portable Bluetooth speakers, but I don't know what amplifier board I should get.

The specs of the speakers I found are 16ohm and 6W. I have two of these.

Please help me, and I can only buy from eBay or DX or whatever site that has cheap/free shipping to Israel (where I live).

  • Improve my English skills abroad?

When I was 5, my family and I moved to the United States until I finished 6th grade. When I was in 6th grade, I had Honors English and I got a great average at around 82/100. Now I'm in 8th grade in Israel, and I'm not improving in English, but I'm not getting worse due to the fact that I love to read in English, but I feel I'm only good in speaking. How can I expand my grammar and writing skills now?

  • Really serious question regarding wasting money?

At school, I'm either pressured or hungry enough to go to the cafeteria during the break. In the cafeteria, we have cards that connect to our parents' credit card and each month they send how much money I spent the previous month.

Yesterday, my father noticed that I was spending a lot of money there (he doesn't usually look, and I spent about $70) and he demanded me to tell him what I bought there. I didn't want to anger him, so I tried to lie as much as I could, like saying I bought water when I actually bought a soft drink. Almost each day, I would go in the break to spend there $3 for a little snack made of a piece of cake and a drink. Twice a week I would buy there a meal, which go from $4.30 to $5.50. As an aftermath, he is telling me to give him an official paper stating exactly what I bought there the rest of the math.

Two things about this trouble me:

    1. If he see's what I bought as too much (more than likely), I will have to pay for myself until the year ends.

    2. He will probably want to see the whole year's statement of what I brought there, and if so, from what I know him, he will be upset.

What should I do now? Please answer seriously.

  • What happened to my laptop (Asus X44H)?

I purchased the Asus X44H almost three years ago and I'm really happy with my purchase. Today, however, my laptop will only charge if the cable is put in at just the right angle. I'm not sure if the power jack is broken, my charger is bad (it's the one that came out of the box), or my battery is beginning to die. 90% of the time my laptop is plugged into power, so I don't know what is happening.

Also, I bought the laptop abroad, so I don't think anyone in my area (Northern Israel) can fix it.

  • Will the movies "Psycho" (1960) and "The Birds" (1963) be scary for me?

I don't watch scary movies, and I want to see these movies to learn about Alfred Hitchcock and his movies. The trailers did not make me jump nor scare me. I'm 14, and my parents will let me see these movies if I want to. Also, I saw the movie "Hitchcock" and it only made me jump once.

  • Should I use Google AdSense?

Almost a month ago I started a blog about gaming, movies, TV, music, etc. and was very surprised with the number of views I got. Each day, if I write a good article or a review I get upwards of 20 views, and yesterday I was at a peak with neary 70 views. I have a total of around 300 page views. I started a Twitter account and there I have seven followers, and more are following as time passes.

I want to use Google Adsense to get better content for my articles and maybe even earn just a little bit off the service. I'm 14, and I think my parents can help me with setting it up.

So, I want to hear from people who use the service to know if they reccomend it to me.

    My blog is: worstof.weebly.com

Also, because I'm 14, if Adsense doesn't work, what other services should I try?

  • My phone isn't getting system updates?

I have an Xperia Z and a couple months ago the microusb jack broke and I didn't fix it. I bought off eBay a genuine dock and ever since everything had been good. Now I heard that the 4.3 update is out. The Sony representatives in my country said I should be getting the update over the site, but for some reason it's not working. Anyone have a solution?

  • Good 8th grade level reading books?

First off, I need to say I moved to America through relocation and I learned there from K through 6th grade. In 6th grade I was a honors English student, and I mostly made A's and B's. I have one problem with reading: I can't stand slow written writing styles. Which means styles like what Mark Twain has to offer really bore me. I like fantasy, sci-fi, dark comedy, action, suspense (though not horror, I can't stand that), and light drama (like The Perks of Being a Wallflower). Also, I can't bear books that graphically described bodies. Just the first murder in The Da Vinchi Code almost kept me up all night.

  • Can I use my piano as speakers for my smartphone?

I have the Casio WK225. I thought of this idea because the speakers on the thing are amazing! I have at home a RCA cable (red and white to female), a female to female cable, and the small amplifier for headphones on electric pianos.

    Can I do this?
