I got a new Dell computer from a friend. When ever you turn it off or restart it anything that has been down loaded or installed is gone. Example: My wireless connection, pictures, music even firefox. Could some one tell me what may have happened to cause this. I tried contacting Dell it was pretty useless. Thanks in advance.

My Sister in laws computer will come on go to the screen that says it was not shut down properly to contiue in safe mode normal ect. When it startes it shows the boot screen then goes right back to what I just said. It will not start up like it is suppose to. Any ideas??

I will try to make this short bare with me. I have 2 kids that are mine boy & girl I have 2 step kids also boy &girl. My SS took a family picture a few weeks ago and scratched out mine, My girl & boys face. Here lately he has been trying to stay up late and wonder the house. They are with MIL for about a hour till I get home. My girl told them both he wasnt supose to do that & she was going to call me. MIL told her she'd like to know why she needed to call me when ever something happened. And that she wasnt going to let her call me. He also went in to the girls room and pulled his pants down several times MIL did nothing. He has also been hitting his sister repeatedly. Last night I told him to go to bed he pitched a fit I told him now and I ment it. About a hour later I heard something behind me and it was him he still had his cloths on he just stood there and stared at me then walked to bed. Ages SD is 9 SS is 11 My son 10 my daughter 12 sorry so long.

My kids school made a CD using power point microsoft 2003. It was suppose to have music and everything. The parents bought these for 10 bucks a peice. Well unless you have power point you cant even see it. A freind of mine gave me the CD to see what I could do. I put it in copied it to my computer. I can see the words and pictures NO music. It wont let me take the picture either. Does anyone know how to get the pictures off so maybe I can make another CD that the parents can see. Really Frustrated.

Okay, I've posted on here before about my hubbys Xwife and all the crap she pulls toward me. Tonight hubby called to see why there kids were not at school today and well... She starts running her mouth about me. She told him all kinds of lies saying I flip her off behind his back and cuss her on the phone. (I never talk to her at all). She told him she was going to kick my *** and just keep on and on. Sence there divorce she has targeted me. Called law on me several times for nothing. Called child services and told them I abused there daughter. Called where I work and tried to get me fired just for starters.I have done and said nothing to this woman. She is after me but uses others to harras me. How do you make it stop with out getting in trouble? I'm not afraid of her just dont want to go to jail over something so childish! You People are the only ones I know are up right now. I'm married have 2 Skids and 2 kids of my own. Tomorrow my DS and both Skids are in a play. Me and DH are going and so is BM. Anyone got any ideas how to not let the pure site of this woman drive me nuts. This woman uses the kids and everyone else to make me misreable. I try to ignore her but it doesnt work. In the past month she has went to there school and made comments to other students about my DS and Me she also called Child services on me twice once pretending to be a school guidence councler and accuse me of Abusing SD case was closes that week. She told a bunch of people she worked with I was cheating on DH with our companys plant manager (1 of them was plant managers sister) She marks out my kids and my birthday on kids assignment book calenders that they have written down and on the BD's she puts her name ~n~ hubbys name like they are togther. When the SKids miss a assignment she writes make up work from being at Step mom

This is for my Exhusband. He Lives in Tenn and Owes back child support in Florida. His license has been suspended. He has done everything he knows to do. No one will help him. He has 10 days to get his license back or he goes to jail. Does anyone know the laws on this and how he can get them back. Please if you don't truely know dont reply he is running out of time. The reason I am here is he has 2 kids with me and I don't want to see there daddy go to jail.This child was 5 before he knew she was alive. At that point he owed over 16000.00 in child support. He has been paying but with the life is sometimes thing happen the amount is more I am sure. So if he cant pay all at once is there anything else he can do?

Me and Hubby have been together for a couple of years. His x will not leave me alone. She tried to get me fired from my job, went to school and talked to my kids about out home like, among other things. I have backed up to let him handle his x and his children as he has two and I have two, A few weeks ago she called Child services on me for abusing her daughter. I dont touch those kids. Well CS found favor with me. Now she is going to our kids school and telling lies and now they have called CS. (My son over heard the converstion) How do I get her to stop? Just want her to leave me alone. I try to stay out of there deal. I love him and his kids I would never hurt any of them. I just dont know what to do.

I took my son to emergency room with sore throat and high fever. They checked for flu negative. They gave him Tylnol with codine.Hes almost out I called Dr. They wont see him because of flu out break. He is not getting better. Can anyone tell me what to do to help him feel better. Fever will not come below 102 stuffy nose, sore throat, achy. Thanks in advance. Oh Yes, I just got over Flu his sister and brother had strep. Drs know this and did not check it.

your spouses x wife or husband? I'd love to hear from you. My hubbys x is well dont know what you call her. They have kids together and joint custody and every other week they come back it is some thing new. Like this week they have a assinment book we have to sign every school day and it has out birthdays in it and all she took a pin and marked me and my family out marked out my name a bunch of times I had to use white out to make it look desent. Its just different things all the time. She even went to the school and threatened my 11 year old and I called her raisin kane and she took me to court for phone harrasment. I dont care what she does or says I just wish she'd leave the kids out of it. Any one out there with same problems?

tell kids about Santa the truth that is. Okay here is the deal. My hubby had a bad divorce and now they split the holidays. This is our year to have them for the whole Santa thing. Well She told them last week Santa was not real! They are 7 and 10. We worked extra hard for this this year. We had cut backs at work and we struggled to make this happen and now she has told them. Well I have two kids of my own and soon they will know because she wanted to try and ruin our Christmas with them. So how old do you think and how did you break it to them? On my computer. I can't see my background all I see is like scrambled image. I see my icons and I can see my background on properties, ect but not on my screen as a background. No matter what I do or what I put on there. Any advice is greatly appretiated.

My hubbys x is a real peice of work. She has done some awful things in the past like lying to try and get us put in jail and fired she threatened my daughter. Well every thing has been quiet or so we thought But today I found out different. The kids come home and the girl failed everything she did at school last week I asked her if anyone helped her she said no. Well the boy missed alot of assighments and the x wrote the teacher a note saying she'd like to met with her because he was having trouble at his dads and school. I asked him mom about it and she snapped at me and said it was between him and her. His mother has been staying at her house keeping the kids for her. That was suppose to be a secret to. What do you think. What would you do. My hubby feels his x is stabbing him in the back and his mom is helping.

my hubbys x is a real piece of work. Things have been quiet for a while. UNTILL NOW. His aunt died and she showed up and sit on the front row with his mother. She is working grave yard and his mother has been staying over there with her to take care of the kids ( and was keeping it a secret ) then today. The kids come back home. I got in there back pacts and all the work the girl did last we she completely failed. She said no one helped her. The boy had a note in his that he had missed a bunch of assignments. His x wrote back that he had lost it and that she wanted to met with the teacher because he was having trouble at his dads house and school. When I asked his mom what she was talking about she snapped at me and said thats between him and her. Well I'm the one who takes care of all the schooling. any way what do you think and what would you do?
