  • I posted bail bond for son?

My son was arrested for assault on his x and was arrested. Spent a week in jail until I bailed him out.

He went to his hearing and pled not guilty so the judge decided to have a trail while the x was there.

My son told his story which was he was not assaulting anyone. His x had smeared shaving cream on his face and he rubbed it in his eyes. He could not see to defend himself. The x and Mama attacked son so he pushed them away and caused them to fall on their big butts. That's when the cops were called and son was taken to jail.

He posted bond and when he went to trial the judge found him not guilty and ordered the two to not have any contact with each other for a year, but he didn't get his bond back.

Shouldn't his money been returned since he was found innocent of the crime?

  • Is Veterans disability rating 90% with 10% unemployability considered 100% disabled?

Why would they rate a Veteran of the United States Navy or any other branch 90% and 10% unemployable. Are they paid at the 100%?

  • What will my health care coverage cost me?

I have health insurance through my company that I work for now. I pay over 50 dollars a week for coverage just for me.

My yearly income is 27,000. I have a lot of taxes and insurance taken from my check every week.

Under the Affordable Healthcare act, would I pay more or less for insurance?

I can not ever afford now to buy a car for my wife when she gets a job. We are using my moms car. I am buying a house and my ins. costs are higher than my house payments.

    What can I do?

Thanks for any reasonable answer. I am desperate.

  • What is causing my computer to do this?

I try to open a page on my computer, like my browser or even the control panel, and when I click on it all it does is post the page in the toolbar at the bottom and it looks like the full page just flies off the screen. Really strange. I don't know if it is a virus or if there is something wrong with my settings that is causing it to not be able to open the screen size page. I've never had anything like this happen.

I have Google and Firefox as my browser. I was using Firefox and when I opened it, the screen became huge and would not work. I can't get to my remove programs to erase it because the control panel will not open in full screen.

I'm stumped on this. Can anyone help me?

  • What are my rights by law in Arkansas probate?

My in laws died with only my husband as their only heir. 4 months later my husband died while his parents estate was in probate so my lawyer probated my in laws property as my husbands inherited estate.

I was made administrator of his estate. My children are thinking they own part of the estate because the lawyer said in a letter that the estate ownership was vested in my name and all my children's names.

I paid the taxes for that year and have been paying taxes, insurance and upkeep since 1997 when my mother in law died. None of the children paid anything and I kept the house for sentimental reasons.

The house burned and now the kids are wanting the property.

What rights do I have and do they have any claim to this property?

  • Home owners and property owners policy?

I never received a property owners policy from my insurance company but always assumed my home owners policy said about the same thing. I had a rent house burn and since no one was living there at the time my insurance won't pay the coverage. The house was being repaired during the vacancy period but it was furnished and utilities were on. me and several others watched over the house and my son was repairing it after he moved out when he could and when I could afford to buy materials. Someone was checking on the house every day.

House burns after 5 months and insurance won't pay cause they say it was vacant, which is a lie.

Do I have a case against the insurance company?

  • Answers on a rental house?

I have insurance on my rental home but it has not been occupied for 3 months for the reason being I have been doing renovations on it. I have all the utilities on and work on it when I can.

Last week the home burned and the ins. company doesn't want to pay for the loss because no one was living there. It says in my policy that a home under construction is covered, but the co. hasn't said yet that they will pay. I only had 20,000 dollars coverage on it and it was a 60,000 home and i have done a lot of repairs on it that the insurance didn't pay for. What are my chances of being reimbursed for the house. I am with Farm Bureau.

  • If I have enrolled my wife in DEERS?

I married my current wife in 2002. We enrolled her in DEERS and she received her military ID.

Would it be the responsibility of the one who enrolled us to add my wife as a dependent to the Veterans Association. Doesn't this information go into my file?

  • How long do I have to stay on probation?

I was dumb and young, 18, when I broke into a junk shop and stole some junk for the fun of it.

My mom would not stand up for me. I don't blame her, she had told me she wouldn't bail me out if I got into trouble. My dad and both grandparents had just died and I guess I was just acting out.

I'm not trying to make excuses but I was fined and spent for days in jail which taught me a valuable lesson. They say a person stays on probation their entire lives which keeps me from voting or having any hunting right.

Is there a way I can have this taken off my record? This happened 32 years ago and I do not know how to clear my name.

    Please help.

  • What to do when my Regional VA is throwing away my files?

I was billed for 38,000 in Nov. 2011 by the local VA citing that I am being paid for 2 wives, which is a crock. I turned in all the forms when I divorced my former wife. I remarried in 2002 and turned in the appropriate forms to have her put on as my dependent in 2002 and after getting the first check in May 2002 I noticed wife was never added, so I went to work to have her added. She never was. I was being paid as a single Vet. The last attempt I made was in Nov. 2011. Well, the VA sent me a letter telling me I owed 38,000 dollars for being paid for 2 wives. So crazy, I was being paid as a single Vet and proved it to them. They finally admitted their mistake and then sent me a bill for 16,000 because they say I never turned in my current wife.

Now does this make any sense? I owe them because I was being paid as a single vet? I appealed the decision because it didn't make sense. I sent in the form to request a hearing before the Board of Veterans affairs and the local VA threw the form away so I sent another certified mail and they closed my case saying I still owe 16,000. I've never heard of anything so stupid in my life. I am fighting them now to get this cleared up but how do I get the money back that they owe me.

Talk about a bunch of fraud. They are out to get the Veteran in every way they can.

If you send anything to the Govt. please make sure you send it by certified mail and make a copy of everything. I sure don't want anyone else to go through this.
