  • Should I post negative review about café online?

I recently had a bad experience at a café and I'm thinking about posting a Google review about it, but I'm a bit worried that because I'm still feeling sour from the experience that I'm being over dramatic and should just let it go. I don't want to go back to that same place again after my experience. It wasn't a really awful experience that made me go home in tears or anything, but it peeved me quite a bit and it's left me feeling like I should complain about it. However, I don't want to give this place a bad rep, even though I've read similar negative experiences about this place online. Should I post a review on my experience (I was thinking of giving it two out of five stars) or should I just leave it be, since I'm probably never going to go back there again?

  • Email keeps being bounced back, fails to deliver?

I've never had this problem before. I'm using Gmail. I've tried sending an submission email off to this literary agency, but twice it's been sent back, giving me the message that it's failed to send because of the servers their end. I'm not really sure what to do. It's important I get this email to them. I've checked the address and it's correct. Why is it doing this?

  • Ex-friend keeps asking for friend request on LinkedIn but I don't trust them?

I used to have this friend (I'm a woman and they're a man). We were quite good friends for a while but they started to get the wrong idea about me and our relationship, thinking I was romantically interested in them when I wasn't, and things started getting a bit heavy. It got to the point where it got very uncomfortable and it felt very awkward, because they didn't seem to understand that I just wanted to be their friend and nothing more. I ended up breaking off with them, even blocking their number so they couldn't contact me. However, for the past two years since I stopped talking to them, they occasionally ask for a friend request on LinkedIn. They don't seem to get the message that I'm not interested even though I am consistently ignoring and blocking them. It's a shame in a way that we're not friends anymore but I don't trust them to just be a friend, because I got back with them before after we broke friends for a while and they went back to their old ways, thinking I wanted to take our relationship further again. I don't want to be mean and tell them to get lost and I don't want anything to do with them because I think they're a creep, and a part of me wants to reconnect with them, but I just don't trust them. I get very nervous whenever I think of the way they used to treat me. They were quite manipulative as well, telling me things other people had said behind my back to get me to side with them, and I wasn't having that. What's the best thing to do?

  • Mafia 3 Season Pass?

I've just seen that there's a season pass for Mafia 3, which includes the 3 DLC (Sign of the Times, Stones Unturned, and Faster Baby!) If I purchase this pass (which is reduced from £24.99 to £9.49), does that mean that I don't have to purchase the 3 DLC separately? If I buy the season pass for the reduced price, does that mean I get all the DLC included? I've never bought a season pass before so I don't entirely understand how it works. I don't want to pay about £9-10 and then find out that I have to pay extra to actually get the DLC. Sorry, I'm just a bit confused about how it works.

  • Uncharted 4 Question?

At the auction at the Rossi estate, why does Rafe rig the auction so that the lot order gets changed, so that the Saint Dismas cross gets brought out earlier?

  • Is it safe to fly with low iron levels (8, to be precise)?

I recently went to the doctors and discovered through a blood test that my iron levels are low, at 8. I've got some good advice on how to get my levels up and know more about it, but now I'm worrying a little because in about three weeks, I'm flying to Australia, and it's not just a flight there and back, but several flights, because I'm also going to New Zealand. I'm just wondering if it's safe to fly with low iron levels. There were a lot of things I forgot to ask my doctor the other day, and I'm really annoyed at myself now. They want me to start taking iron supplements for the next six months and then review it. Am I safe to fly? I don't want to get ill. I just want to check.

  • Why are my iron levels low?

I recently went to the doctor about having diarrhoea every month or so, accompanied with dizziness and nausea. They got me to have a blood test, which revealed that my iron levels were low (at 8). I have to take iron supplements to get my levels up, and my doctor says I'll have to take it for about six months and then have another blood test and have a review, but I just don't understand why my levels are so low. I'm not pregnant and have never been pregnant, my periods aren't too heavy, I haven't lost lots of blood for whatever reason, and I eat food that's got iron in it, so why should I have low iron? It's just a bit worrying because I'm anxious there's something else going on that's causing my levels to be so low. I did have food poisoning back in February (vomiting, diarrhoea) so I don't know if that's linked. I got the blood test results and iron supplements recommendation from my doctor over the phone, and there's so many questions I forgot to ask, which is why I'm here. I've been reading stuff online but haven't got many answers about why I might have it, because nothing seems to make sense.

  • At school, did you ever have lots of kids in your class sent home because of an illness?

I was just remembering something that happened in my last year at primary school.

It was a Monday, and I think it was halfway through the school day when this happened. Lots of kids suddenly started feeling ill and had to leave the classroom. I don't know exactly what was wrong with them, because this was about ten years ago now and it's a little vague, but I think they must have been feeling sick and had stomach aches because they were hunched over clutching their stomachs. About half the class got ill and had to be sent home, and I'm not exaggerating. This really happened. I remember leaving the classroom for lunch and out in the hallway about half the class were sitting on chairs looking ill. When I came back to class after lunch, the classroom was half empty. It was so surreal, and we had my favourite class, Art, so it was a weird but at the same time great day. The following day, everyone was back (at least from what I remember).

I just wanted to share what happened because it's something that sticks out in my memory. Nothing like that ever happened again in all my school years. It was a weird day. I write stories and I want to write something about this in one of my stories. Did you ever experience something similar when you were at school?

  • Novel Writing: Characters' names changes halfway through story. Do I use old names or new names when referring to these characters?

I'm writing a novel in the third person, and halfway through the story, three of my characters, including the main character, changes their name (both their first names and surnames). The question I have is what name do I use after they've decided on their new names? I know the obvious answer is probably going to be to use the new names when referring to them, but I'm worried that it's going to confuse the reader when for the first half of the story these characters had different names, and now they have new ones. I'm not really sure what to do. I don't want to confuse the reader.

Note: Their names change because they've moved away to start a new life after being chased by kidnappers during the story, just to make it more clear.

  • Was Wildlife Park PC rereleased in 2017?

I used to play this PC game, Wildlife Park, when I was younger. I loved playing it, but that was years ago. Now, I have a different computer and I haven't got it installed because I don't think it'll work. I tried installing it onto my previous computer, which was Windows Vista, but it wouldn't work. Out of curiosity, I was looking the game up online, and I came across this on Amazon:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/b-alive-Wildlife-Park-PC-...

It's the same game that I had, but it's a PC Download and according to the description it says that it was released in 2017, and there's also some DLC that you can get. It also says that it should work on Windows 8.1 (or it's listed at least), which is what I have.

Has anyone downloaded and played this particular version of Wildlife Park? Does it work? I used to love this game and it would be nice to play it again.

  • What's your favourite Junior Eurovision song?

My personal top 5 (in no particular order):

    1. Planet of the Children - Krisia, Hasan & Ibrahim (Bulgaria 2014)

    2. Mzeo - Mariam Mamadashvili (Georgia 2016)

    3. Don't Touch My Tree - Ana Kodra (Albania 2017)

    4. Don't Stop - Anastasiya Baginska (Ukraine 2017)

    5. Cara Mamma (Dear Mom) - Fiamma Boccia (Italy 2016)

There's other songs I like but too many to list them all.

  • WhSmith Blue Fountain Pen - Inner Cap Stuck, Lid Won't Click and Stay On?

I brought a fountain pen from the shop WhSmith for about £4.99. It's quite a nice pen and I use it a lot for note taking. Unfortunately, recently I ran into a problem with it. There's an inner cap inside the lid (it's white and plastic) which popped out of place (when using the pen I stick the lid onto the other end for safekeeping). I tried to replace it back inside the pen lid but now it's stuck and won't budge. I can't reach it with my finger because it's a slim lid and the cap has been pushed too far down. I tried prying it out with no luck at all. This is really annoying because the lid is supposed to click when you put it back on the pen and stay in place securely, but now it doesn't click in place and keeps sliding off. I think I might have accidentally damaged it but I'm not sure. I want to get the inner cap out but it's lodged in. Although it's a very cheap pen and I could just buy a new one, I'd rather try and fix my current one first before doing so. Any suggestions? I'd be very grateful.

  • What's your favourite Eurovision song that came last?

Sometimes there's songs at Eurovision that come last even though you might have actually liked that particularly song. Most of the time the last placing song is justified (wherever that's because it was unmemorable or was just plain bad).

My personal favourite songs that came last was Mata Hari from Norway in 1976 and Ghosts from Jamie Lee, Germany in 2016.

What your favourite last placing song? Do you have a last placing song that you think didn't deserve to come last?

  • Is it true you get earthquakes in California?

Is California a hot bed for earthquakes? I was looking online and there has been a lot of minor earthquakes recorded (when I posted this it said there were small earthquakes as recent as today). I live in England and I have never experienced an earthquake. We had a small one some years ago but I slept through it and then woke up just afterwards (I was really annoyed by that actually).

  • Planning on moving to America one day?

I live in the UK. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Games Design. I was thinking about working in the USA in the games industry. I haven't got a job yet in the industry but I'm applying for lots of jobs. I know lots of people say it's not worth it and I should stay here and unless you already know someone out there it's hard to get in. What are your thoughts? I know I won't be there for years yet if I do want to go and I have done some research. I want to stay in the UK for a bit longer and save up some money and get experience in the industry first. What are my chances of getting accepted into America? I have no family out there. I went on holiday over there a few years ago and loved it. I know living there is very different to being on holiday.

  • Should I get in touch with my old primary school 10 years after leaving?

It's something I've been thinking about and I keep chickening out and putting it off. I found my old reading record booklet (it's about 17/18 years old) and it made me wonder if I should contact them and maybe visit? I'm wondering if it's a good idea. I've come a long way since leaving primary school, I never imagined I would one day go to university (I graduated recently). If it is a good idea what's the best way to contact them?

  • Do you have a crush on a video game character?

I've seen this asked before on Yahoo Answers, but I can't add a reply to them (don't know why). It's a bit embarrassing but I don't see why because you have crushes on characters in movies and TV, so why not video games?

I had a crush on Rafe from Uncharted 4 (I know he's the main antagonist, but still).

  • Worried about male ex-friend who used to sexually harass me?

When I say "sexually harass", I mean someone I knew who kept talking about sex and other very personal stuff every time we met up or talked to each other. They also kept asking if I wanted to "do it" and other suggestive stuff. I'm not a slag and not at all interested in this berk, and he was really creeping me out so I blocked his number and blocked him on Facebook, and luckily I haven't heard from him since. I'll also make it clear I never gave in to him, and he never touched me or anything. I never see him in person anymore (thank god) but even though I've blocked him and he's out of my life, I've recently realised that this has had an scarring effect on me. I got a notification on FB saying "Do you know this person?" and it was HIM. I immediately deleted the notification, and now I'm really shaken up by the whole thing even though it was just a standard notification. I can't stop thinking about him either because I'm nervous about the whole thing. Also, I may see him at graduation this autumn and I'm actually scared to see him in case he tries to talk to me or do something. I'm also worried he might start spreading false rumours about me and then people at graduation won't have anything to do with me. My family are coming to graduation and know about this sex pest. Should I tell my tutor at uni about him so they know the situation? What should I do about my anxiousness about him? How can I move on from this?

  • I have no sense of smell?

It's only recently in the last two years that I've become conscious that I have no sense of smell, at all. I'm not aware of smells around me. For example, if I'm next to a dirty toilet or smell what's supposed to be a stinky sock, or even if someone farts in a room with me, I don't think "Eurgh! What a horrible smell!" Neither do I go out to gardens with lots of what I presume are lovely smelling flowers or walk into a room with air freshener and say "What a nice smell!" You see what I mean. I just don't get it. I can eat food fine, as in picking up different flavours. Is this something I need to go to the doctor about or do I have to live with it? It would be nice to be able to smell flowers and other nice smells. I feel a bit like Patrick from that SpongeBob episode when he gets a nose and can smell.
