  • Hooking up lights to Dune Buggy/Sand Rail?

i just bought a sand rail. the lights are fully assembled and i do not know how to hook up the wires.

The lights are all ready to be hooked up, they have the red/black wires coming out but i dont lknow how to hook them up.

The set up for my buggy is the battery---> one wire to the ignition/switch---> then one wire to the fuse box----> couple wires coming out of the fuse box into----> a switch box.

I cant seem to figure out how to wire my new lights properly.

I alredy have a pair of lights set up, but i dont seem to understand why i cant do the same thing as the lights. there are soo many random wires in the switches box.

THIS MAY SEEM HARD TO EXPLAIN FOR ANYONE>

  • The Military PAST test before MEPS?

Im planning on enlisting in the Air Force and going to do Pararescue. i need to pass the PAST test but my recruiter is trying to get me to go to MEPS before attempting the PAST test so that i can meet the requirements for Pararescue. Do i have to go through MEPS before i can take the PAST?

By the way i have already taken the ASVAB and scored high enough for me to be qualified for Pararescue.

  • Enlist right out of high school and go to pararescue?

My heart is set on pararescue. Please dont tell me that its hard and extreme and all this stuff. I am aware of what i believe it takes. I have been training for the PAST and beyond that. But i am wondering if it is smart to enlist and attempt pararescue or have some military knowledge first. Im not worried about strenght, stamina, mentally strong and other aspects. Im wondering about military training? If most people enlist and after a couple years they go to pararescue. Is it unorthodox if i enlist right out of high school and try pararescue?

  • What to do in the Military? options and suggestions?

I've been asking questions on yahoo and alot to the recruiters about the mlitary. Only spoke with Navy and Air Force because i wanted to fly. I am aware of how hard it is, but im wondering if its actually worth it. My AF recruiter told me to enlist and apply after 6 monthes of being enlisted to the air force academy and then work my butt off to get into flight school. I've heard it's virtually impossible to become a pilot is you are enlisted. Is it impossible for me to become a pilot?

And if it is so, i was looking into Pararescue because i have always wanted to help people. i was getting into firefighting yet i felt like i should take the military route and serve my country. But from what i hear pararescue is physically impossible? Is the PAST test really THAT challenging? From what i read it seems difficult but it does not seem that impossible. i feel like i have a shot at it. But i've been getting asnwers explaining it's physically impossible?......Thoughts? suggestions?

If so my last questions is what should i do. I am almost 100% sure i want to join some branch of military. My parents of course would prefer me become an officer before i enlist but im not sure how.

and which branch of military should i talk to. I am intersted in flying, and helping people such as pararescue.

Im just very confused and would like a ton of answers lol about what i should do. Im not THAT familiar with all the branches of military and jobs the military offers.

    Help please.

send me in the right direction.

Also im not s tiny little skinny kid. im pretty built. i played football for 5 years. running back and middle linebacker. im around 5'11' 192lbs. Just so you have the idea of how i am If that helps narrow some jobs down. Im not sure.

    Thank you in advance

  • Pararescue in the united States Air Force?

Ever since i was little i wanted to fly jets but i got talked out of it because i didnt have the grades and recently i just found out i do meet the qualifications and i want to try to achive being a pilot in the air force. But i cant get into the academy yet my recruiter said that i can apply after 6monthes of being enlisted and most likley get into the academy and try to be able to go to flight school. I know recruiters dont always tell the truth, but would that actually work and would i be able to get into flight school. And i know you have to be in the top percentile and idk if i could over all those students at the college. Is flying going to be outta my league?

should i think about pararescue, because i have always wanted to help people and this is deffinately helping people. Anyone been a pararescue?

how would the schdule be? boot camp of regular cadet training and THEN you to go pararescue school? and then for how long till you get deployed to where ever?

Or please could i get some advice on my options. Thanks!

By the way im still in high school ( senior ) and 18

I've always wanted to help people

  • Enlist in the Navy, try to fly or work on planes.?

I went to the Navy recruiter today and talked to him today and got some information. I've always wanted to fly but i dont have the grades to join the air force and its academy. The recruiter was not clear on what i would have to do to fly with the Navy. I know about the ASVAB test, but idk if a job offer to be a pilot is included. He told me you should "get to know the plane" before u can get to fly. he meant be a mechanic for the Navy and work on planes. But what he told me was that, take ASVAB and then i bootcamp in chicago for 8 weeks (what type of training does that consist of exactly) and then you get to choose ur "career" in what field u are "allowed" to enter and then you get statione wherever ur field is...Correct? he said i can go to college in that time as well. do i get shipped out to iraq if i an working on planes? im not scared to i just would like some answers on how it works.

Could someone enlighten me on if joining/enlisting is smart or if going to college and THEN joinging, or going to college to become an officer. I would just like to know how it all works. and whats best for me.

By the way, im still in High school and im 18
