Hello all. I have an HP LaserJet 1200 hooked up directly to my computer via USB. Whenever I print and leave my computer alone, everything works fine. However, when I use another application or program, my printer starts printing out symbols all over the page. Two of my colleagues are having the same problem; what could be causing this?

I have been playing piano for nine years, and just started the organ. It is amazing! It is such a great feeling being in control of such a powerful instrument. But my teacher has told me that there are very few young organists and that the organ is becoming a dying art. I think if more young pianists started playing the organ, they would really like it. I am going to set up a server soon, but I have more computers than I want on the server. Would I be able to get a router hooked up directly to my internet source, then run the server off of the router? Or is there another way I could do this? In other words, I want to provide internet to my friends without them getting easy access to the server. Is this possible?

I am going to set up a network and I want a server involved. I need it to hold user accounts and files for about 5 computers. Which type, or even brand, would work? Also, which server OS should I use? All my computers run Windows.

I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium installed. I have the original product key. I want to install Windows XP Professional. What do I have to do to make sure I can use the product key again? I might want to reinstall Vista if I don't like XP.

I am thinking of setting up a professional grade server in my house. I will run Windows Server 2003. After I set up all of the client computers, can I turn them into normal independent computers again? I will have them all running XP Professional. Thanks for your help.

How would I set the server up, how would I prepare the computers, and could others access my wireless network? I want my server to store everything: user accounts, files, printers, etc... Especially concerned that iPod Touch cannot access the Internet. Will it be able to?

I have a two line phone in my office. I use one line for a normal phone line, but I would like to use my second line as an intercom to call other phones in my house. Can this be done?
