I ve lived in my duplex for 4 1/2 years now. We have had the dishwasher "replaced" because it didn t clean anything. Less than 6 months ago we had our garbage disposal replaced because it stopped working. Now since then, our dishwasher hasn t worked AT ALL. If I turn it on nothing happens, but I can hear the timer running on it. I have checked power cords and what I could see. We never use our DW so it hasn t been a big deal except for the fact that the bottom is filled with nasty water. But twice now in the last couple weeks, when we have washed dishes (in the sink) water starts leaking from our DW! It just did it to me a bit ago and my whole kitchen floor was soaked.. since our landlord doesn t accept maintenance calls and requires a written letter, it will take a while before I hear from him.. Is there something I should check myself? It is an older style DW, nothing fancy. No cancel or drain buttons to try..

On December 1st I was messing around at a park with some people and a football. I kicked the football and instantly felt pain in my big toe. Only around the nail though. I assumed I pushed my toenail backwards when I kicked the ball.. It hurt like a s.o.b for a few days. The nail has turned a bruised color and feels kinda numb. I can finally wear socks and walk normally now.. But I've noticed at the very bottom of my nail, right under the cuticle, my nail is completely loose.. I can push it up and down.. But the rest of my nail isn't loose at all..

Is this the beginning of losing it?

If so, what can I expect to happen?

If I lose it will I still be able to wear socks and shoes? I've heard people tell me the toe is pretty sensitive after losing a nail..

I am starting up a photography "business"

I am saying it like that because I am in no means a professional.

I am not charging.. And currently I am only using my basic "point and shoot" camera.

I am just trying to establish myself.

I have done 1 actual shoot for some friends, and have gotten some great feedback..

I'm just looking for a name :)

I know it is best to use your name for your business, but I don't like the way it sounds.

So far ive come up with only 1 name.... Papered Reflections Photography.

What do you think, of the name?

The best way for me to describe it is.. You know the sound semi's make when they "jake brake?" Well, thats what our car feels like.. It's a 2001 Dodge Neon. Our brakes are working fine. Still stopping just fine.. This car has literally been in the shop at least 4 times in the last year.. My husband works out of town and it worries me. He drives rough.. Brakes hard..

What could cause the shaking?

It mostly does it at speeds over 35-40.. But sometimes not at all.. And i also noticed that if i gradually apply the brakes, it does it bad, but i had to hit my brakes hard because the car in front of me stopped suddenly, and the brakes didn't hardly shake at all..

For years I have been getting recurring yeast/bacterial infections. I have tried feminine washes, different panties, going without panties, and more... I get 1 almost every month.

I shower regularly. I know how to wipe myself. I keep myself clean...

It is starting to drive me nuts.

Lately I have also been getting a lot of uti and bladder infections..

I make sure my SO is clean. But if our foreplay involves any type of hand contact, I will have an infection the next day..

But that's not the only reason I get them.

I just started seeing a new doctor. I thought I had a UTI (pain during urination, the urgency to go a lot) But I didn't! So he told me to just drink a lot of water..

Are some people just more prone to these infections?

What could it be?

Should I push the subject with my doctor?

Anyone who's had one of these infections before, know that they are awful.

I have a hard time concentrating on my life. The constant itch, and discharge.

I have 2 toddlers who require almost all of my attention.

I've noticed the last couple days I've been getting pretty dizzy, I could be standing or sitting and all of a sudden I'd be super dizzy.. Last night I cleaned out my ears with peroxide. I dropped a couple drops in each ear and let them bubble, then let it drain onto toilet paper. I didn't stick anything in my ear, and this is how I always clean them. Well shortly after I noticed my left ear started to hurt, like a dull pounding almost. Well all night it hurt and it would switch between a sharp pain and a dull pain, and kept me awake mostly.. it also kinda feels like something is in my ear and its warm in there..

is this an ear infection? I haven't taken any pain pills, but I do have some and antibiotics also..

I have a 2001 Dodge Neon, and lately it seems as if everything is messing up.. And we are short on money.

The radiator was leaking, so we put some stop leak in it, and it works, temporarily..

Now the transmission is leaking. The car slips in and out of gear..

The heater stopped working, and I could hear the water bubbling, but the car wasn't overheated. So I replaced the thermostat. Heater started working again. Then the next day heater stopped working and water is boiling again.

Took it in for an estimate today, well my hubby did..

They said the radiator needs to be replaced, the transmission is leaking into it and that's causing the problems..

Does this sound right?

And does that affect the thermostat?

Its our only vehicle, so he said we can drive it, just to keep tranny fluid in it.. But as soon as we put fluid in it, its leaking out.. I will see a little puddle..

Yesterday i went to an amusement park and wore the wrong kind of shoes.. Walked around for hours, and by the time we left i could barely feel my feet. If i was on them i was in horrible pain, but if i sat down they started to go numb.. Today they are still very painful and sore, but i also noticed a large lump/knot of the inside of my left foot on the back part of the arch.. It is uncomfortable to rub or push on.. What is this? Should i worry? It is also red all around it..

I feed him the normal turtle food from the pet store.. I was just wondering what kind of foods can i give him..? He is in a tank with water and a rock so he can get out.. Do i just chop up some veggies real small and put em in there like the dry food? i like to spoil my pets.. :) We got this little guy from a flea market 1 1/2 years ago. I dont even know what kind of turtle it is.. Not a red ear slider.. Lady at the pet store said he might be a yellowe bellied slider or something like that? idk lol

My Dodge Neon sounds like its falling apart :/ About a week ago some jerk rear-ended it while it was parkedin front of our house, didnt do much to the back, just some scratches and missing paint.. but it was pushed forward a few feet.. My left rear tail/brake light and turn signal no longer work either.. But now when we drive it, it sounds like somethings falling off the back end.. It almost sounds like somethings hitting the wheel.. Weve looked under it and dont see anything loose or hanging or anything out of the norm.. My brakes are also going bad. Its going thru brake fluid quickly and the brakes are grinding ( cant hear it, but can feel it in the pedal ) weve checked the master cylinder and it seems fine.. so i figured it needs brake pads, but does that have anything to do with the fluid? . Please help! This is our only source of transportation :/ I am afraid to drive it, especially with my kids..

My son will be 19 months old on the 3rd, i was just wondering what milestones he should be reaching.. I know all kids are different, but whats the average.. Im not worried about anything, his daycare/preschool teachers tell me hes quite advanced.. Heres some things he can do.. -- Say basics like mommy, daddy, kitty, doggie, baby, car, tractor, truck., juice.. If i show 2 pictures of a cat and dog he can tell me which is which.. Runs Jumps Dances Will say "Pwee"(please) if he wants something.. Climbs Knows the difference between all kinds of things and will bring them to me if i ask him, like phone, remote, brothers pacifier, wipies, diaper, and so on.. I just want to know when he should start putting words together, like, "Bye mommy"

Ok this might be kinda long.. 5 weeks ago i gave birth to a healthy boy. My 2nd child.. I had an epidural with both births.. But this recent epidural messed me up.. The insertion of the epi went smoothly, but after a few hours it started to wear off, so the nurse gave me a shot of something thru my iv,.. and this shot numbed me good, i couldnt feel a thing.. after i had baby and the epi was taken out, the numbness started wearing off like normal, everywhere but my right lower leg/foot. It stayed numb and extremely swollen for 3 1/2 weeks.., i could barely walk.. It is still slightly numb in some spots.. They did an MRI while i was in the hospital and said it didnt show anything, and they could not give me a reason for why this was happening, so after 2 days in hospital i was sent home to deal with it on my own. I personally believe they knicked a nerve when inserting the epi.. Anyways, for the last week now, i have been getting this horrible painful itch on the pads of my feet, mostly my right foot. It only happens when im standing, and its almost a throbbing feeling with an itch. I have to sit down until it goes away, takes about 15 minutes.. Its starting to really bother me. What is this?!?? Could it be caused from nerve damage? Will it go away??

I googled some different types of diets earlier and one in-particular caught my eye.. Its basically fasting all day, until dinner, where you eat a normal meal. It said that this method forces your body to use fat during the day for energy.. I am overweight, i weigh 220 and am 5'5".. Im not wanting to get super skinny or anything like that, i have had 2 kids.. One is only a month old.. My goal is to lose 30-50 lbs and just be a little healthier overall.. Im joining a gym in a couple weeks.. I cant do the whole 6-8 small meals a day, i just dont have that kind of time.. My question is, does this type of "diet" work?? and What are the best exercises to burn fat quickly?

Im wanting to introduce potty training to my 18 month old, he is very smart and catches onto things quickly..

I know it may be a little early, but im not saying im wating him to only use the potty, i just want him to get used to it..

Has anyone successfully potty trained a toddler this age?

I have a huge pine tree in my driveway, and ive had a large raccoon living in it for a few months now.. Which didnt bother me except for the fact that my dogs go utterly insane when they hear it.. Buuut, now around 4 am every morning it makes this god awful screaming noise, it is soo loud!! Animal Control is taking their sweet *** time to come out, IF they do.. and i do not have a trap.. Does anyone know of a way to maybe get it to move or detour it out of my tree?? Please help!! My family is so tired lol
