  • How to deal with girlfriend's very overprotective parents?

We've been dating for almosr four months. I'm 23 and she's 19. She's a virgin, but has been ready for sex for a little while. But now she's afraid of feeling bad if she has sex because her mom puts this pressure on her that sex is BAD, and her mom didn't even have sex until she was married. Her mom already has had my GF on birth control before I even met her.

    Here are her parents' restrictions:

    - I can't come over her house unless parents are home (and she doesn't have a car too, I drive us both usually)

    - I'm not allowed in her bedroom. I'm not allowed to sleepover

    - if she goes to my apartment where I live alone it causes a big situation. She's only been there a few times now, whereas I've been to her house like 50 times. Which is completely unfair. Of course she's not allowed to sleepover my place either. We wonder if her parents will even let her come back over. They've been super strict lately.

    - She's like required to go to bed before midnight

    - she can't be out past like 10 or 11

    - they give us zero privacy no matter what

    - she can't really travel with me. Her friends wanted us all to go to the beach for a weekend. Her parents said no.

    - They require everything we do to be planned. We can barely be spontaneous. So we constantly have a "time frame" we worry about

    - I live in an apartment 25min from her house. I wanted to take her to my parent's home to meet my friends about 90 min. away. Her parents are very iffy about that. She hasn't met my friends yet

  • Thyroid issue/severe symptoms, should I go to the ER?

I missed two doses of my Synthroid a week ago. Each day since I've felt awful. Today I've felt tired and weak. Within the past three hours however I've randomly got anxiety and depression. So much I'm about to have a panic attack. I have no reason to be anxious or depressed. Absolutely none. I also have brain fog and tunnel vision. I was driving home (where I am now) and just about couldn't make it. I almost had to stop somewhere. Should I go to the ER and get my blood check ASAP? I almost feel I can't even function. I feel nauseous also.

  • Watching rabbit for a week, she s scared to come out of the cage?

I ve had her for two days so far.

I m trying to get her some exercise. She seems to be eating well, but drinking a lot less water than normal. I m not sure what kind of rabbit she is, but she s 7-8 months old and about 5 pounds. I feed her the pellet food and hay. She eats some hay but mostly the pellet food. She s noticeably scared or nervous or not used to a different environment from her owners. She s kept in a cage, but I leave the door open for her to leave freely under my supervision. She did not leave the cage for the four hours the door was open. At her owners house she would leave the cage immediately and not re-enter the cage until we had force her to get back in.

So I picked her up and took her out of the cage myself. She kicked a ton as usual because this rabbit does not like being picked up even by her owners. I put her on the ground and she explored a 5 foot radius a little bit. I brought out the towel that she always play with at home and twirled it in front of her. She didn t really play with it this time but more-so attacked it and made growling/snarling noises. Then she immediately jumped to the front of her cage and put both front legs on it, trying to get back in. I ended up putting her back in.

Will she get used to the new environment for the week? Or will she be out of sorts until she finally returns home? I m just worried that she won t drink enough water. She drinks from the bottle with the spout and won t even touch a little bowl of it.

  • example of "Evidence for evolution of the human population by natural selection..."?

I need this for a biology test. I was going to say the black death (plague, huge natural selection event), but this seems that its only microevolution. I m sure the question for my test is macroevolution, correct me if I m wrong.

Does anyone have a good example

  • Girlfriend's friend is pressuring me to get her a promise ring?

My Gf's best friend messaged me and showed me a conversation between her and my GF. Her friend pressured her boyfriend to get her a promise ring after only a month together. Now she showed my GF a picture of a really nice one and my GF said that looks "perfect." Her friend then told her to tell me to get her one. She responded and said she thinks it's weird to say that. She then said "of course it would be super nice and I would love to have one, but I want him to want to give me one without me asking him." I just replied to her friend when she showed me all of this and said "have her tell me haha." and didn't reply again. It's kind of annoying that her friend messaged me this and said, "don't tell her (my GF) that I showed this to you."

Although I've never really thought about the idea of a promise ring before my relationship I do think it's nice. But it's not something I would do until later in in our relationship like 9 months or a year or something. Should I tell my GF that her friend messaged me? Or just leave all of this alone until I'm ready?

We've only been dating two months. I just don't want her friend pressuring me. She's known to do stuff like this in the past.

  • Girlfriend is a virgin. Is 2 months into a relationship too long without sex yet?

If she wasn't a virgin, then I think it would be too long. I don't think it is too long, but its frustrating for me because I am not a virgin. I don't get mad at her or anything. I respect her feelings and choices.

  • Is 1.5 months into a relationship a long time without having sex yet? Somewhat frustrated?

I'm 22 almost 23. Not a virgin whatsoever. and my GF just turned 19 recently and is a virgin. We've done about everything but actual intercourse. She's never given a ******* and is kind of afraid to try, but I've definitely gone down on her plenty.

On our one month day I brought her to my apartment and we were about to have sex and she said she wasn't ready. So we just went back to fooling around like we usually do. I didn't get mad at her or anything. I completely respect her choices and feelings.

We recently said that we loved each other. She's been in three relationships before me and never loved those partners, so she was sure when she loved me. I'm also pretty sure that she wanted us to love each other before we had sex.

  • Getting flowers and a card for my GF and I's one month. Is that good?

Pink roses. A card with a sweet message, not drastically long. Then we're doing dinner. Is this a good idea for one month without overdoing it?

    2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years ago
  • Should I wrap my roses?

I'm giving my girlfriend a dozen roses for our one month. She pretty much already knows I'm getting them for her because I told her a couple weeks ago that I would (jokingly) but she knew I was serious. I asked her if she had a big vase at the same time too. I don't own a vase and I don't plan on buying a big one when her parents have a bunch of empty ones. Should I wrap these flowers or give them to her in the plastic they came in?

Am I supposed to get a receipt or something of the sort. All they did was jump my car. I didn't purchase a new battery from them.

  • First date ideas for shy girl, in the coldddd winter?

We met online. We've both talked a lot and texted a lot for a week or two and know each decently well personality wise. She is a little shy however, and said she might be a little shy in person at first just because she finds me super attractive.

She says she's a hopeless romantic and anything would be nice for a first date. She wants the first date to be a surprise and just doesn't want me to spoil what its going to be. So she told Chinese food is her favorite food way early on in our talking. I was thinking of taking her to a PF Chang's nearby because I've also never been. But I want to add to that. Its very cold here. It will probably be 20 degrees out the entire day. Should I walk around the mall with her? Take her to a movie? I think a movie is too generic to go along with the dinner (although she is a hopeless romantic, but still).

Any ideas? I don't want to spend a ton of money of course. She knows I'm a college kid and don't have a ton. I'll pay for the dinner OF COURSE. But what else should I do? And should it be before or after the dinner?

    She's 19 and I'm 22.

  • Ex-gf asks "are you doing okay?" 4 days after breakup. How do I respond?

My first response was "I'm alright. You?". She didn't even answer back. Is she upset that I give her such a generic douchebag answer? Did she want me to be more honest? We didn't really break up on bad terms. We both still love each other. I don't understand why she doesn't respond back (its been 12 hours) if she was the one who asked first. Should I reply and say sorry and be more honest on how I'm doing? Because really I'm not doing alright, I miss her like crazy. I don't know what answer she is expecting.

  • Ex-gf asks "you doing ok?" after 4 days of no contact after break up? How do I answer?

We both broke up still loving each other, not on bad terms, both kind of heartbroken. She kind of gave up, but regrets it I think. We both were crying a lot when we broke up and both wished that each other would do okay. What do I answer to her? Do I say "I'm doing good. You?" Because really I'm not doing good, I'm doing horrible and I miss her. I didn't want to break up. Or do I say "I'm alright."?

Need help here. She asked this last night and I purposefully didn't want to answer until at least this morning.

  • Small horizontal cuts on penis shaft?

I have two small cuts. Not near the head. I think my skin was dry down there and I either masturbated or had sex while it was really dry. I take anti-estrogens and that can definitely cause dry skin. The cuts seem to heal or get a scab in a day. But as soon as a get an erection the scab splits open. Its not extremely painful but really annoying. Any idea what to do? The cuts are very small. One is about a quarter inch long and not deep at all you can hardly see it.

  • Is it normal to feel uncomfortable that my GF talks to her ex often?

Her ex contacted her a ton. And she definitely make an effort and replies enough to have him keep contacting. I've never seen the texts and snapchats personally, but so far I asked "why is *ex's name* your #3 best friend on snapchat? he isn't bothering you is he?". She replied "nah he just sends me a ton of scenery pictures because he went back to Israel for the military." I trust her and accepted her response and said alright. Yet I know she still talks to him more since then. That was about 5 days ago. Should I confront her and tell her this makes me uncomfortable? I don't want her to get mad. I never get mad at her, but she seems to get mad if I have an issue about something pertaining to her (which is rarely). But I know she wouldn't like it if I talked to my ex.

  • How to cheer gf up after she s sure she didn t do well on a test?

She studied for 3 days straight and read about 700 pages of books for an honors literature class in college. She s hoping for a B, not too confident, after she just took the test. To her, a B isn t great. She s a 3.8 to 4.0 student. To me, a B in these types of classes is amazing and I can t imagine taking a course that hard! She s pretty stressed out about it because it is pretty important to her.

How do I cheer her up? Things I don t want to say:

    1) There will be more tests.

    2) I m sure you did better than you think.

    3) You ll be okay
