so how do i watch my downloaded files without getting a black screen? i get audio but no video and to answer the inevitable questions:

yes i tried a different player, didnt work

yes i tried changing the extension/reencoding it, didnt work

yes everything else ive tried works except this

no im not installing whatever plex is or anything else for that matter, i shouldnt have to have multiple programs running just to get this to work.

so ive been trying to get anime to work on my mobile for awhile now but its annoying to have to convert everything i want to watch on my commute so ive been trying to find a player app that would work for me without having to go through the extra step of converting.

so far every app ive tried has given me a blackscreen with audio (including the much venerated but disappointing mxplayer) except 2: BS player and dice, BS player for whatever reason isnt playing softsubs properly and i cant seem to find anything in its preferences to fix that. as for dice, im seeing an unacceptable amount of video lag.

ok so it worked before with a borrowed cable, now that i have my own its refusing to work. ive tested the cable on my Wii U so i know the wire itself is ok. when i plug it in it simply doesnt recognize its there and everything ive tried doesnt work.

to head off the stupid questions people tried anwering this question with before:

yes my tv supports 1080p and no im not stupid enough to forget to change it to the HDMI setting.

so ive been using mangasearch on the advice of a friend but im fed up with this shitty app. i either have to constantly restart downloads that cencel on their own or it simply refuses to download the chapter at all. ive been searching the play store trying out various apps but theyre all crap. they are either online reading and no download, big 3 + a few others, or they only have half the series up that ive been trying to download (chocotto sister for example, half the series is apparently missing)

ok so i have a ticket to wrestlemania but my ride to and from just informed me he was bailing on me and had to sell his ticket. I dont drive so im not sure how to get there now, ive seen football fans in penn station so im assuming theres some kind of connection there. assuming i can get there during the day, will i still be able to head back late at night when the show is over or do the buses/trains stop at a certain time of the night.

so ive been on an old school kick lately and one of the series i went to watch was zoids shin seiki zero. unfortunately i cant find it subtitled anywhere, anything i click while googling leads to the dub even though it says english subs.

i refuse to watch dubs, dubs make my teeth itch, so i was wondering if there was a place on the net streaming it or if there was some way i could download it and watch it.

so i bought an hdmi cable to connect my pc and my tv and it worked for awhile when it, quite literally, stopped for no reason. i was watching anime just before going to work and when i came home that night it just flat out doesnt work, i keep getting no signal and no fix that ive seen after googling has worked.

i quite literally turned it off that morning and it didnt work that night.

so i finally got around to registering my copy of open on club nintendo when i noticed these varying costume for yoshi. i figured what the hell and hunted what i could down except for the pink yoshi costume, i cant seem to find it anywhere.

so i used to have a functional nook color but after awhile i stopped buying books and it bcame mostly a video/music player for me but now the thing finally broke down on me. since id like to continue watching my anime on the commute to work im looking to buy a simple portable video player and save myself some money instead of replacing the nook color which i dont really need.

ive seen 2 players that caught my eye, the aluratek cinepal and the coby hd video player. ive heard alot of good things AND bad things about both of these players and id like to know if they are just disgruntled people that dont properly take care of their electronics or are they flawed players?

if you are going to recommend something else then please, nothing smaller then a 7 inch screen as it gets too hard to read subtitles with a screen any smaller then that (and yes for the record i know that alot of things, the nook color included, doesnt support MKVs but handbrake takes care of that)

so today im told my microphone stopped working when i was playing killing floor. ive never had trouble with it before so i went poking around trying different thing, nothing of which will work. i tried updating the realtek drivers but then the hd audio manager stops working AND the mic never actually works, i tried pluging in a USB mic and the jacked mic i was using before, nadda.

i preordered the elucia nendoroid from jlist awhile back, on the site it say nov 2011 but i just realized its halfway through november and still nothing. now they havent charged me yet, they dont UNTIL it ships, i guess im just trying to figure out when it will go through. on vent i heard something like nov 30th but that seems kinda silly why not just say nov 30th instead of being vague about it?

so i just bought a ticket to WWE survivor series, a bit late but stupid me just plain forgot to buy them earlier, through stubhub. when i mentioned it on vent i was told that i was a colossal idiot and that i was going to get scammed. i went poking around and i found horror stories about invalid tickets, tickets being sold 30-40 times and everybody showing up or just not being delivered and stubhub refusing to refund money.

i bought it via electronic download, i printed it out. after hearing about this **** i looked at the stubhub site again, the section and row i bought into has 3 tickets listed now instead of 4 but im still worried if i made a mistake here and im going to get screwed with them like reselling the electronic ticket or invalid ticket or something.

so im trying to run Ano Hana through handbrake to lighten the load on my harddrive but whenever i get to episode 7 and 8 it starts to act up, i didnt get to 9-11 but in any case if 1 of them doesnt work i gotta wonder why. i tried doki's version at first and it gets to about 20% of the way through 7 and 60% through 8 before just plain stopping, 9 started but i ended the process to try to figure out whats going on. i tried UTW's version and it starts to scan the file to load it into the program but it just locks up as its scanning and i have to stop it to unfreeze handbrake. im a bit perturbed by this as ive never seen anything like this happen before with anything ive run through handbrake.

so i wanted to try prius online and had trouble logging in, kept getting this account cannot be accessed. i tried FlyFF and luna online, both games ive played in the past, but still wouldnt let me log in. cant log into the forums, cant log into the website, and when i tried to register a new account its not working there either. i made a question here earlier in the day, got a not so useful answer, and didnt think much of it until i was just chatting on my lol vent. i mentioned the trouble i was having and 1 of the guys said it might not be me, gpotato itself might be "all screwy" right now. he does have a point, not being able to log into the site or register should have raised the red flag. i sent in a ticket but because gpotato doesnt seem to realize bad things happen on the weekend, im not getting a reply until middle of next week at the earliest so i thought id ask again here and see if its just me or gpot not working.

decided to try the game out after hearing some good things about it from friends. had to reset my gpotato password but that was no big deal, still remember the username and email. downloaded it, patched it, and whenever i try logging into the game i kept getting the message "this account cannot be accessed" its not an ip block, i saw some people with the same message on the forums.

downloaded up to chapter 73 but i dont remember where and i dont think that site had anything past that so im looking to complete it as im reading it here. tried finding a torrent but all i get is links to the anime.....and no dont link me a site that requires registration i dont need more **** cluttering up my inbox and i just dont feel like it period.
