so was count dooku being honest with obi wan kenobi when he told him darth sideous controlled the senate? literally what was happening?
in star wars attack of the clones. while obi was in captive. count dooku attempts to have him join him by literally telling him in detail what was going on. obi wan insanely refuses to believe all of it. only for everything count dooku said to become reality. this has always bothered me. he told him together they would destroy the sith. so many star wars fans pretend count dooku was dark and would never do good. but after revenge of the sith only 2 jedi were left. didnt obi wans naive attitude and refusal to consider count dookus warning cost the jedi and republic dramatically?

Isn't it pretty idiotic to spend your time preaching for ideologies used by politicians who don't have your best interest at heart?

8 AnswersPolitics6 years agowhy do conservatives deny their role in the Jim crow era?
I always hear Conservatives try to spin the story and say liberals were responsible for Jim crow. It was very clear people like governor Wallace were not liberal, it's clear the politicians who filibustered the civil rights act weren't liberal, they were conservative politicians? I'm not trying to offend anyone. But this twist on history is insane, anyone care to explain what leads them to deny very clear conservative politicians and their very clear opposition to the civil rights movement?

1 AnswerPhysics6 years agoa quesion about conservatives, guns, and religion?
In the bible Jesus Christ says "those who live by the sword shall perish by the sword"
it's pretty clear he's talking about weapons and not the sword specifically
I can't see any scenario ever where Jesus would endorse guns or own one
most (American) conservatives identify themselves as christians
Most American Conservatives staunchly support gun rights and many own guna
isnt there a conflict between their faith and political beliefs?

15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoA question about God and sin?
So god gives man free will. God knows the fate of the man before he is even born. Now riddle me this. If God creates every being, and knows that being will sin before they are even born, how does he have the audacity to punish them sin? Sin he knew they would commit?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhat is the name of the time theory that stephen hawking came up with?
Im not a science guy so forgive me for the lack of information. I ran into an article where steven hawking discussed an alterate version of time. Think of time as a straight line going foreward and backward, his theory is that there is some time that goes up and down between that line. I forgot what he called it. He said Hollywood hasn't made a film about it because they don't understand it. Can anyone help?
