Recently, I got out of a bad relationship... Now, I know that 23 years is still very young. But, the break up just kind of made me realize... I want to know that if I should have to grow old alone or simply need time alone... That I can take care of myself to the fullest extent. And, this has all just made me ready to do everything I need to do to become independent. I'm so tired of living with room mates or family. So, my question is... What would be good majors that would provide me with good opportunities and an independent future? I know a few of the obvious choices such as nursing and what not. But, what are some others. I don't have to be rich. But, I want to know I'll have my own back.

I went to college once when I majored in Early Childhood, but I backed out because I had no way to get up and go when I needed to. I didn't have a license and so I had to depend on everyone to take me anywhere. Them having their own lives I couldn't ask them to drop everything and drive me just ANYWHERE. Well now I have a DL and a car. But, I've been thinking about it and my own cousin who is a teacher said she can't afford to live on her own, how would I? So, again... What majors whould provide me with the opportunities to be an independent woman?

I'm not really asking for horror stories. I'm sure I'll get them anyway, but I really want to know if they have managed to have a successful relationship. By jealous I mean that simple old friends will say they think my natural hair makes me cuter and that I shouldn't recolor it... By this comment... The guy will make comments that scream jealousy. We aren't even together yet. But, simple friends who aren't even ex's can't compliment me.

Me and my fiance are growing bell peppers. But, we want to do them ONLY from seeds. So... I don't want someone to tell me to go to Lowes and Home Depot and buy pre started bell peppers. Alex, my fiance, has researched it and been told time and time again from inexperienced people who THINK they know how to grow bell peppers from seeds. That's why I am asking those with experience.

What did you do to get your bell peppers to grow from seeds? Please include amount of water, size of pots, amount of burlap, etc.

I'm not talking about 5 or so years ago. I know about that time ago they were supposedly caught with dead animals.

I not being mean or anything! I swear... I honestly want to know. I'm making an array of recipe books. And, in case I should ever entertain or feed vegetarians, I want to know how best to meet their desires. So... By all means... Tell me how you cook your food. But, I do have a question. What about stock? Like beef, chicken, ham stocks. Do you eat the foods that are flavored to mimic meaty foods? Or should I leave all stock out? Do you just eat food flavored with seasonings? Is there a good website you use for vegetarian recipes? I'm not looking for answers like Morning Star. I want HOMEMADE recipes. Not boxed foods.

I was looking at getting a job or starting a career there. Someone told me they know multiple people from multiple different states and they all had awful experiences working there. Some called out a lot because they were afraid of someone or something.

Do you like someone that is straight to the point... Or someone that gives you the answer but gives you tips/advice too?

I'm not looking for a medication or ingredient that is... I just want this answer for the question... Links to unbiased tests are welcome... My boyfriend and I were discussing this and he said he found a link (which I can't find) that said garlic is not actually effective for the common cold. He said they proved that all the tests saying garlic was effective was in fact biased. I myself was raised to believe that it was effective...

I'm not talking about clicking No Best Answer. NBA still gives the responder points for answering the question. It ONLY ensures they don't get the extra ten points. Yet, they still get points for answering at all.

I'm looking for statistics like the ratio of boys to girls. Or the percentage that can walk independently or are wheelchair bound. I'm not looking for statistics like amount of American's or people in the world that have it. Those are far to easy to find.

Kevin can mow his father's lawn in 8 hours. His brother Doug can mow it in just 4 hours. How long will it take both of them to mow the lawn if they do it together?

My teacher said that a two ways to tell that a fairy tale is a fairy tale is by repetition of words and sounds (Three Little Pigs, Little Red Hen, or The Gingerbread Boy), and the number three. Obviously in the three pigs are there, but why should it make a difference if there is four pigs or ten pigs? Is there some kind of reason for specifically three?

I just need the method that gives me the answer. I won't put the answer because I want to ensure that I am given the correct method for the correct answer.

I don't need the answer because if I wanted just the answer then I could get it out of the back of the textbook. I need to know the steps to obtain the answer. So, in order to make sure I am given the correct method, I won't put the answer on here. I'll choose the best answer according to who ever gives me the right answer with the method OR gives me the method that gets me the correct answer.

I know that a christian being with am athiest is a sin, but does anyone know of a couple like that and they had kids and everything was fine. The children successfully made their own decisions that were not biased from one parent to the next? How? Did the marriage or relationship fall apart?
