Long story short, my gf lives with me because her mothers bf is abusive and her mother is a crack head whore. My gf uses their address (mothers bf house) for her job and what not but she recently got a new job and her old job said they would send her a check and they already sent it. Basically what I'm asking is can he legally throw away her mail or can we take him to court, he has been throwing away her mail for years now but it was never important (as far as we know).

I applied to usps in the towns south of Boston (where I live). I got a few interviews and ultimately got accepted to one of them, I got the email to accept the job, took the drug test and did the background check and it came back clear. I just got a phone call earlier 2day saying I got a job offer in Jamaica plain (which is a terrible area in Boston) and they said my other location I actually applied for got taken or some bs. What I wanna kno is am I allowed to apply to other locations while I m working in Jamaica plain I won t be an actual employee just a temp. As everyone is when they first sign up or am I able to transfer while I m a temp. I specifically avoided the Boston area while applying since the commute is terrible I m gunna hit rush hour going in and come home from work everyday

I'm trying to do it online and it gives me the option to change the mailing and residential address, if I only change the mailing address to my house would it keep her parents house address on the id

I recently got laid off from my job and also moved out of my apartment, I'm currently on unemployment and I should be getting my security and last months rent back which is 2500$, do I have to report this the unemployment as income and if so will I not get paid for a couple weeks as I only make about 500$ after taxes from unemployment

I moved out of my apartment on September 13th. My landlord sent me a list of damages sometime in October which only came to a couple hundred out of the 2500$ he owes me (last month+ security deposit). I emailed him a couple days ago asking him what's going on with paying me back but haven't heard anything yet, is there a time limit I have to get my money back or he has to give it back after he gave me the list of damages? At this point should I go get a lawyer or wait for a response

When I moved into my apartment I paid 1st, last and security deposit. This is the last month I m staying here so I figured I did not need to pay. But then I get a email from him saying I needed to pay, is this right? I did end up paying.

me and my friend moved into a apartment mid august, we paid first, last and security deposit. we made every payment up until july which is last month, so the last time we paid was june 5th. our lease ends august 1st. now my landlord is threatening to share my details to credit agencies and rental database. im new to renting but am i right to not pay july's rent?

i was looking on craigslist for an apartment and found one. in the description it said he was a guy from Ukraine who bought a cheap place because it was near a college he was studying at but now he is moving back to Ukraine. so i sent him an email with his application form attached that just asked for basic info like name, number, email, why im moving out ect. about n hour after i sent that he responds saying that he just shipped the keys, rental agreement, location and such by over-night shipping and asked to send him the payment today by a "money transfer service such as western union" he also goes on to say if i pay first and last months rent i get one month free (along with security deposit). this seems like a huge scam to me but not sure if western union is a safe way to transfer money so if it is a fake i can get it back. thoughts?

im looking to find my friends federal probation officer and couldn't find any useful websites, anyone know of a way to find the officer? would the halfway house that he was in has this information?

Dont remember much of anything about it. Similar to pokemon in the fighting sense that the owner/master calls out the moves they want their "thing" to use. This "thing" in thise anime looks like a midget but with superpowers. Not much more that i remember but if u have any guesses on what this anime is called its much appreciated. to make a long story short me, my gf and my firend got an apartment 2 months ago for a lease that was for a year. my friend has been throwing parties almost every night with occasionally underaged kids which the cops have been called before but they didnt id anyone just told them to keep it down. last month my friend found a gf and he immediately moved her in without the landlords permission. the other day my gf ring was gone (stolen) and we accused my friends gf of stealing it which caused a huge fight he threatened to beat me and my gf up (im not scared of him just dont wanna get to that point). now i dont wanna live here. if i talked to the landlord what is the best case scenario to get out of the lease or what are our options in this case.

i want to move out of a 2 bd apartment with my friend. my friend is having underage kids drinking (cops have been called but didnt id anyone), his girlfriend who doesnt live there is sleeping over every night and has her own keys now, his girlfriend stole my girlfriends ring (my gf does live there, not on the lease but the landlord is ok with it) and a lot of other things are making me want to move out.what are the consequences of me moving out early

I just got n apartment n the electricity was still on so i was slackin on callin them n switchin it to my name( its been a week since i moved in). I called national grid to get it set up n the guy told me to email them with my identification which i did n i was gunna get a call back in 2-3 days, did it switch to my name already or do i have to wait for a call back from them? And how long will it be until my power turns off is there a certain amount of days the landlord has to pay for it when i first move in? This is my first apartment

a couple weeks ago my engine started making a rattling noise and felt like my engine was about to explode (check engine light went on), i took it to the shop and they said it was due to bad spark plugs so they changed them. present day my car recently started making the rattling noise again but it only happens while im at a complete stop and never rattles while im moving. check engine light is not on, any ideas what causes this, could it be the spark plugs or wires?
