  • How can I find who owns a business?

I am looking to see who owns the following business and if it's a legitimate business.

    AnswerGem, Inc.

    P.O. Box 4322

    Mountain View, CA 94040

There is no phone number on their website and the whois information is not available. There is no BBB information and I can't find their license with the State of California (but that could be because they have no general search on their site). E-mails to the company have not been replied to.

  • How do I split a MP3 audio recording into tracks?

I've got a recording of a live concert in MP3 format and I would like to put in 2 second spaces between songs so I can change tracks. I haven't got a clue how to do that.

  • Dial-up box keeps popping up?

I just added a USB WiFi antenna to my desktop and it's up and running fine. The problem is that my old dial-up box keeps popping up even though I am already online with the WiFi connection.

I want to keep the dial-up connection as a back-up. I have unchecked it as the default connection in the control panel but can't find how to keep it from activating when a network connection is present. I am using Windows XP.

  • I'm looking for a news story that was on Yahoo?

I saw a news story about a month ago that was featured on the Yahoo homepage features section. It had to do with New Years resolutions and referenced a book. The book was an older book and had to do with opening up creative thought. The one part of the book I remember was taking an hour per day to think about just one thing.

I saved the page to my favorites but it no longer links to it. I have searched and searched but can't find the article and can't remember the name of the book.

    Any ideas????

  • I can't get the freewheel off!?

I need to replace the bearings on a rear wheel (it's a Falcon hub) but I can't get the freewheel off. I got the correct Park tool but I can't get it to break loose. The Park manual says it turns off counterclockwise but I've put enough force on it to distort the tool and it still won't go.

Am I missing something? I'm thinking of putting an air impact wrench on it.

  • How do I know which crank arm puller I need?

I am fixing up some bikes for low income kids in the neighborhood and need to pull the crank out of one. It's a cheap Chinese made Huffy mountain bike and I can't find any information on what type of puller I need. It looks to have a square shaft with threads in the crank arm where a puller would screw in.

Is there a puller that works on a majority of these cheap bike cranks so I can get the most use out of it? Thanks for your help.

  • Aggressive bunny behavior?

We adopted three male bunnies (to save them from a crock pot death) from the same litter when they were about 3 months old. They are now about 8 months old. They have been getting along great for this entire time and sleep in one big heap so close you can't tell which one ends where.

A few days ago one of them started getting aggressive towards the shyest of the bunch and has bit him and pulled his fur out. All are very docile towards us and the aggressive rabbit is the easiest to handle and hold. None have ever bit or scratched at all.

Is this behavior towards the other bunny his hormones kicking in or could there be other factors? I had planned to have them neutered, but they have gotten along so well I didn't see it as an urgent thing to do. I have also heard that doesn't always change their behavior.

They have a large house with rooms and a huge 20'x25' outdoor run for the daytime so it's not like they are stuck in a cage on top of each other. Thanks for your help.

  • Don't you love SUV's in the ditch?

I just looked out the office window and saw some guy come flying around the corner and after doing a few 360's, stuffed his SUV in the snowbank going the other direction! He looks mystified.

Forgive me, but I always enjoy seeing giant expensive 4wd's in the ditch! (As long as nobody gets hurt of course.) Am I just a sicko or do you love the road show too?

P.S. My buddy pulled him out so it was a cheap lesson and his wife will never know.

  • Cat just started pooping on the carpet?

My 18 year old female cat recently started pooping on the upstairs carpet. (Always in a different location.) This followed a bout of vomiting. She had kidney failure about 8 years ago and once and awhile has problems, but generally has been in great health. I gave her the supplements I normally give her to stop the vomiting and fed her boiled chicken for a few days and she was back to normal except she started pooping on the carpet upstairs. She only does this during the day when I am not home so I don't know if it's a behavior or medical issue. There are 3 litter boxes in the house and she uses those to pee in. She had a vet check-up a few weeks ago and was given a clean bill of health. Sometimes she acts likes she's in a trance or acts like she forgot where the food dish is so was wondering if it's possible for cats to have memory problems like people get and she is just forgetting where the litter boxes are.

(Her normal food is Wellness canned.)

  • Is customer service dead in America?

I don't know about you but I am fed up with poor workmanship and non-existent customer service. I was a service manager for 20 years and busted my butt to make sure everyone was treated well and quality work was done, but I can't find that dedication anywhere I go it seems. Has the race to the bottom line caused this or is it a management problem or what? It seems the bigger an idiot is the higher he is promoted! I can't get my car or computer fixed, can't get a straight answer about why my phone bill is way off, can't reach anyone at the bank and the credit card people don't speak English. Can you relate?
