Please help...???

What is a good weight loss plan and execise plan for a person who works full time and goes to college full time? I seem to have not time for anything while school is in because of all the homework, research papers and speeches I have to write! I know this is horrible but the easiest thing for me to do is stop at the fast food restaurants and eat in between work and school, and I feel the pounds packing on... and I am sick and tired of it and need to change my habits... anyone out there able to help me devise a plan???

Thank you so much for your time... and all have a great day!

Update:

do you know of any good quick exercises that I may fit into my schedule that would benefit in weight loss?

Update 2:

... and also some health quick lunches that I may be able to prepare (quickly) instead of eating fast food?

any snacks...?

Keep some freeweights at your house...you can do squats, lunges, bicep curls, tricep dips, abdominal work, etc. while you're watching the news or something. If you have the equiptment at your home, you can squeeze in 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there of exercise. Also, take every opportunity to walk-part further away from any stores, etc., go out after dinner for a 15 minute walk around your neighborhood. It all adds up! Also, when I was in graduate school, I bought one of those huge stability balls (the are around $20, and usually come with a DVD or something) to sit on while I wrote my research papers instead of sitting on my desk chair. Not only did it allow me to work my abs a bit while writing, it was also a lot more comfortable once I got used to it, and lets you be able to stretch easily when you want, or bounce for a minute to get your energy back. If you can, get to the grocery store and buy some fruit and nuts-make a trail mix if you want, or eat whole fruit. Throw some in your bag in the beginning of the day, so that you'll have healthy snacks. And drink tons of water-it's great for your skin, for keeping your bladder healthy, and it can help fill you up between meals. Also, for specific exercises that you can do at home, go to any fitness magazine's website, and they'll have printable moves you can do (shape.com, self.com, fitnessmagazine.com, etc.). Good luck!

Many little things and no big ones. Eat often, but make them smaller meals. Make yourself eat fruits, veggies and healthier foods so if you have to stop for fast food, you won't eat as much. It's easy to snack on apples, bananas, grapes, healthy granola bars etc while you are on the go. But the key advice is to eat. Breakfast is very important. I recommend a bowl of healthy cereal and a glass of juice. Not hard to do and takes little time. Drink lots of water. Exercise !! No time ? Walk. Park further away and walk more. Take the stairs instead of elevators. On the phone ? Walk around instead lounging. If you have time to sit and watch t.v., then exercise while your doing it. A few crunches, a few push-ups..... anything to keep the machine burning calories. Any muscle workout, be it push ups, squats( deep knee bends ) or even calf work ( tip toe raises ) will get the body to burn at a higher rate. So when you are studying, driving or sleeping, the body is burning extra calories because of the muscle. How sick and tired are you ? You really do need to change the habits or that freshman 15 will stay. Good luck and Stick to it !!

First off..its not "horrible" ...its one of the most common scenario's...hence the phrase "freshman 15".

You need to find the time because eating healthy and exercising will give you more energy to complete everything you need to get done. Remember that you don't have to do all your exercises in one setting...Do ten mins of cardio at a time if that's all you can do. And I know you must watch T.V. sometimes !! Do weight training exercises while watching it or even just during commercials. I would also recommend cooking huge amounts of healthy food when you have time so you have it for when you don't...There are lots of tricks all over the Internet..Good luck!!!

You might think about trying The Movie Star Diet. I lost 50 pounds with it after only five months, and I couldn't be happier. I've tried a lot of different diets (Atkins, South Beach, and Weight Watchers, etc.) and none of them worked anywhere near as well as this one. It's definitely worth a shot if you really want to see a difference in a short time.

If you can only eat fast food, try getting a salad and either a Diet Coke or a water. Snack Wraps from McDonalds are also really good too, I sometimes eat 2 of 'em for lunch.

I can't plan your daily routine because I don't know about your life but I can tell you that your health is much more important than any job or college. So,just try to do some physical activity and try to eat more vegetables and fruits.
