Is there any guideline to set age for-infant,kid,baby,child,boy/girl,youngester,youth,grownup,old,aged or so ?

    I prefer to help my child develop simply by nurturing and encouraging him, rather than setting specific ages by which he should do things. We never used a pacifier, so that one didn't really apply to us. My son was potty trained (day and night) a few months before he turned two because we waited until he was showing clear signs of readiness based on development, not age. I agree that it would be a good idea to throw out the schedules in the future and just let your child be. After all, it won't be the end of the world if your child potty trains at 3 years and 2 weeks instead of by his third birthday. Congratulations on your new baby.
