Do you make cupcakes using an ice cream scoop?
What size (number) scoop do you use for the large, regular and mini cupcakes?

I use a 12 for the large muffin type and a little more
the 16 for the regular and the 20 for the mini's they work well for my portioning. others are confused maybe a better word would be portioning scoop.

Many people use ice cream scoops to ladle the batter into the cupcake pans, this makes each one exactly the same size. It doesn't matter what size you use, just as long as you're not filling the cupcake pans more than 3/4 of the way with batter. I usually just use a soup ladle. Like this:

Sure i do. I also use an ice cream scoop when I make corn muffins. It's so much cleaner and easier to use. I like the small ones, but the big ones work as well.

well i saw on a cooking show once that someone used an ice cream scoop. i havnt tried that but i use a cupcake tin.

what do you need an ice cream scoop for ??? you make cupcakes in a cupcake tin with or without paper liners...you fill the cups 1/2- 3/4 full with a SPOON...

based on the size you may make a severe-high quality bikini suitable out of it hihi large to scoop rice mashed potatoes yello in iciness time, makes proper snowballs for a snowball combat use it as a pooper scooper whilst walking the dogs

No you use a cup cake pan... special shaped for cupcakes...cheap buy it at the grocery store
