I'm 4 foot 10inches, and i weigh 123.8 pounds. I need a good diet plan. Im very concerned of my weight because I am Just at Overweight. And what I am very concerned about is that I have been getting "Man Boobs" and its very concerning. I always wear a loose shirt because i don't want people to notice, but now since I am growing my shirts are becoming tighter. Also I have Asthma which I think that it might be because of my weight/fat. Please if anyone could help. I walk about 2-4Miles a Day and Play sports Occasionally, and have been trying to eat healthier.

im 13 and this is how i lost wieght just follow these instructions-
1. Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.
2. Start your day with a glass of water. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cool water. It’s a wonderful way to start you day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water lets out all your digestive juices and sort of lubricates the insides of your body. You may have your morning cup of tea but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you.
3. Drink a glass of water before you start the meal. Water naturally needs some space so that you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself.
4. Have another glass of water while you are having the meal. Again this is another way of making yourself full so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just the same. Instead of drinking it one gulp, take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to settle faster so that you get that feeling that you are full faster. SIDENOTE: Water is such a remarkable thing, but seldom do we give it the credit that it deserves. Did you know that over 66% of your body weight is nothing but water’ It’s amazing! Water also plays a vital role in weight control, which is why I donated so much space to it, above.
5. Stay away from sweetened bottle drinks, especially sodas. Hey all those colas and fizzy drinks are sweetened with sugar and sugar means calories. The more you can cut out on these sweetened bottle drinks, the better for you. So if you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas.
6. Include in your diet things that contain more water like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.
7. Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.
8. If you do have a craving for fruit juice then go for fresh fruit juice instead of these that contain artificial flavors and colors. Or even better, try making your own fruit juice taking care not to sweeten it with too many calories.
9. Choose fresh fruit to processed fruits. Processed and canned fruits do not have as much fiber as fresh fruit and processed and canned fruits are nearly always sweetened.
10. Increase your fiber intake. Like I mentioned, the body needs a lot of fiber. So try to include in your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.
11. Go crazy on vegetables. Vegetables are your best bet when it comes to losing pounds. Nature has a terrific spread when it comes to choosing vegetables. And the leafy green vegetables are your best bet. Try to include a salad in you diet always

The very first thing you should do is take a Parent with you to a Pediatrician. That's a Doctor who specializes in caring for kids until they are 18. I am a Registered Nurse. I want you to know that you are doing the right thing in asking for help but, really, the help must come from a Doctor or Registered Dietician...someone who knows about healthy food and how much you need, not the Internet. The Internet is a very dangerous place when it comes to your health. There are many bad diets displayed that could make you very sick or even kill you or put you in a wheel chair for the rest of your life. You are still growing. Because of that your needs are much different than that of an adult. Kids have "growth spurts" and it looks like you're in one.I think I can safely offer this, though. It's been proven that taking six medium to small meals each day and a small snack, instead of three big meals, keeps your energy up and helps you lose weight because you have the energy to run and play harder and longer. This is something that doesn't happen on the three meal plan. Try to choose healthy foods, low fat, low salt, as much as you can, but go ahead and treat yourself to your favorite treat twice each week. It's important that you go outside and play physical games, make your 2-4 miles, fast paced walks everyday, too. Don't just "stroll". Slow walks do little to burn off unwanted fat.Your body needs exercise to stay trim. Exercise doesn't have to be boring. Exercise can be anything that makes your body move and your heart beat a little faster for at least 20 minutes everyday. Kids usually have no problem doing this. So..turn off this PC and go be a kid..outside...and don't forget to ask a Parent to make an appointment with the Doctor. Lastly, if you can't get to a Doctor, ask your School Nurse or School Dietician to help you. They'll be glad to do so.

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

My rule of thumb is to eat at least 6 cups of fresh vegetables everyday!! you may steam them lightly (you want a crunch to them)you may put anything on them if you choose to but you must make sure you have your 6 cups. Afterwords you then may eat anything you want. Be sure to keep those 2 -4 miles going but change it up by running or biking, swimming so as to keep your metabolism high.
Since your asthmatic ask your mom or doc if those things are ok.
You may be on a steroid for your asthma which could be causing weight gain ask you mom or doc. remember you have about 5 more years of growing and you really want to do that well. Learning good eating and exercise habits now will save you years of struggling with your weight. I made my eating plan easy so I don't fail, I actually eat 8 cups of veggies a day it keeps me feeling good and my weight down. But the good thing is I can eat what ever I want once I had my veggies for the day.
