Recipe ideas for hors d'oeuvres that freeze well and can be reheated?
I'm having a Post Holiday party in January and would like to make some appetizers that can be baked and frozen or that can be assembled, frozen and baked at the party.

I'm not sure about baking your own, but pillsbury (and some other brands) have some really good hors d'oeuvres that are frozen and you put on a baking sheet and they're ready within 20min. They are really reasonable too. They have little spinach pies in filo dough and these really good cream cheese and jalepeno filling inside a buttery pastry shell. You can get big boxes of them at the walmart by me. They're super easy and everyone loved them at my holiday party last year. I can't remember all the varieties, but there were a lot. :)

Little Smokies in bacon
1 pkg little smokies sausages
1 pkg bacon – cut into fourths
1 cup of brown sugar
1 can sliced pineapple rings (optional)
Toothpicks
Take a little smokie and wrap a piece of bacon around it and secure with a toothpick. Do all the package this way and put in one layer in a 9 X 12 inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top. Add the pineapple rings if wanted. Bake at 350 until the bacon is crisp and the brown sugar melted (apx 25 minutes). Cool thoroughly. Put in fridge. Once cold remove from pan and remove toothpicks carefully. Place in plastic container, put lid on it and freeze. These can either be reheated in microwave or simply thaw and eat at room temperature. They are the best!
