In ye olden days folk used to hang it up somewhere cool and keep it for months because the curing and smoking will kill all the bugs. It is still true today of course but people are so namby pamby and ignorant these days that they chuck stuff away if has gone past the meaningless "sell by" or "use by" dates. Of course being old school and knowing about this stuff I generally ignore such stupid notices. Did you know that if you buy a vintage cheddar cheese it will have been kept in a dusty old shed somewhere for at least 18 months so if Tesco's or some other dumb shop then puts a "use by" notice on it, it means bugger all and in fact I have kept such cheese out of the fridge for anything up to a month before now.

I agree with stephen- usually smoked and cured meats last very well, as the process was designed and intended to preserve meat and fish before refridgeration was invented, however unless you know that it's been done properly you can't be sure how well the preserving process has worked.
It'll be fine to eat for a week if sealed and kept cool, in any case, so enjoy! Sounds delicious.

As the smoking, curing and especially the vacuum packing has been done by an amateur, I'd have to recommend treating it as raw, and refridgerating it for up to 2 days.

if it's vacuum sealed, probably a few weeks. as with all meat - if it feels good, smells good it's good. i had a homesmoked/cured porkloin in the fridge for 5 weeks, it was still great.. (surprised me as well) - anyhow, if it's ok, but you have no intention of eating it soon, put it in the freezer for whenever

should last as long as store cured, a couple of weeks.
If you are concerned, break it down to a meals worth in each pack and freeze it.

if it is properly cured and smoked it should last almost forever and vacuum packed it should last til doomsday!

Until opened it should last almost forever if it has been vacuumed pack
Once opened however I would allow 3-5 days
