Adding hummus to sushi?

I was wondering if there is anything I can add to a sushi filling to give it a little moisture and creaminess other than ripe avocado or mayo.

What's your opinion on adding hummus to a sushi filling? And what seafood would typically pair well with something like hummus?

I don't think of sushi when I'm enjoying hummus. Falafel, yes, raw fish, no. If you insist on hummus and a fish of sorts, you might consider something that is fairly sturdy but not fishy tasting. Take a look at shark, tuna, or swordfish.

Remember that sushi is about ingredients. A good sushi chef always relies on local ingredients. So considering hummus is regional, I cannot see why a good chef wouldn't use it in sushi. That is the art and spirit of Japanese sushi.
