Are you friends with your co-workers or do you keep your work and personal life separate?

I am retired now but I was friends with some of my co workers

My last job was only 7 people and 3 of them were co owners but all 7 of us used to get together with our spouses every month or so, plus I regularly golfed with 2 of the bosses

Good question-

The company I work with has over 50 people, so I don't interact with all of them! However I work the night shift and its usually the same 7-10 people everynight, so I have gotten to know them and we all get along good/great work. Having said that, I like to keep my work and personal life seperate, so no, I don't hang out with any of them after my shift ends.

I am very friendly with my coworkers but don't really socialize with them outside of work. Of course there are some exceptions to this; some of my coworkers I happened to know before we started working together, either through mutual friends or just from living in the same hometown.

Separate - I actually own the firm.

I'm friends with some of them but I don't like mixing personal things with business.

I don't want my work life to invade my personal life.

I've made friends and even used to date one of them. Always kept it professional at work though.

I am amicable in the work place, but keep my private life private.

Work is a dog eat dog world. You don't give a co-worker something they can use against you.

Not friends

I'm friendly with my co-workers,but not friends.

It's unprofessional & inappropriate to divulge any of my personal life with my co-workers & If anyone tries to pry into a personal matter ,I just tell them that I'd rather not say because I'm a private person

I go to work to work and make money. I will visit with my co workers on break and lunch

I have made friends with many of my co-workers.
