I want to get pregnant one last time...?
My youngest is 2 but I want to have one more. I'm 36 and since our daughter was born I have not used birth control but have regular monthly periods. I haven't lost all the weight I gained, which puts me at the heaviest I've ever been. (But I am by no means considered overweight).
Suggestions??
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoWhy do some women NOT tell...?
My brother's wife was apparently being harassed at work by some creepy security guy who took her kindness as a potential sign of something else and eventually got himself out of a job there. Problem is that she never told my brother what was going on, not when it was going on or when it was being resolved or anything. He of course is FURIOUS and says she didn't say anything because a) she liked it b) something besides the harassment was going on or c) she wanted a simple fling the guy got too attached and things went bad. He doesn't understand why a woman just simply wouldn't tell. Why she kept it such a big "secret". Never mind, that we all know that his mindset it that is something 'happens' to a woman, 9 times out of 10 she is "asking" for it.
Opinions, please...what are some of the reasons a woman would not tell she is being harassed? This is tearing our family apart, we are all trying to get him to see the other side of the coin, so to speak.

4 AnswersFamily1 decade agoHow do I SHOW my husband I love him...?
we are separated now and trying to work things out. We are going to counseling and hoping to get back in the same home soon. We spend time together with the kids once or twice a week and most of the weekends. The thing is that "I Love You" has become merely words. That old Nelson song "More Than Words" is so nail on the head for us right now. Saying "I Love You" or writing it has become too cliché...
It's especially hard because we are not under the same roof nor do we see eachother everyday. I want to make sure he knows that despite the physical separation and things of the past my heart is right there with him all the time.
5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoMy 10 year old Daughter is Being Harassed...?
sexually at school.
She is in 4th grade and there is a little boy who has been calling her names like *****, wh0re, sl+t and lezbo (he says to her and her best friend). I have brought it to the attention of the vice principal and after school program coordinator but it continues. She has been dealing with this bully all year, he is a 4th grader too, do I go to the principal or his parents? She has tried walking away and ignoring him but she was sobbing to me and her dad last night about it, but asked that we don't go to the school again because whenever this kid gets in trouble he comes back harder at whoever tells on him. It breaks my heart that my 10 yr old little girl is being called names no woman should ever have to hear towards her let alone a child of this age. HELP!!!!

5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHillary Clinton as a Girl Scout...?
My daughter is a Junior Girl Scout and her troop has been assigned the USA as their country for Thinking Day (each troop researches and presents a country at a gathering of several troops). They are doing a section titled: Famous American Women Who Were Girl Scouts and of course the most famous is Mrs. Clinton. Does anybody know where I can find a picture of her when she was a Girl Scout? Thanks!
3 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agoHow do we mend fences...?
My fiancee & my mother (&sister for that matter) don't get along. Sister threw a surprise party for mom & said he was not welcome. I took our girls for a bit & came home, I was going to take a stand & say if he's not welcomed i'm not coming, he insisted I go. My sister is even madder now because I didn't stay the whole night. I can't win. It sucks to go visit, & have everyone either pity me because i am 'alone' or complain because of it. Either way they pretend the life i have @ home doesn't exist, they don't ask how he is, how we are doing...nothing. It's like our baby(7 mos) was created in a lab...He wants to make things better. She says we dont have to like him to have a relationship with you. We want to 'start over' not 'do over' but just begin anew without finger-pointing, blaming or rehashing all the stupid details...writing a letter has been suggested. Any other suggestions? We want inclusion in the family but no intrusions...how do we begin?
7 AnswersFamily1 decade agoWhy Blood Tests....?
I went to see my doctor for anxiety attacks I have been having lately. Pretty bad pressure in chest, nausea, headaches, blurred vision at times-- he sent me to the lab for some blood work.
What is he looking for? Why order blood tests when it is clearly stress related (I know this for a fact...lot's of family drama...) Should I be worried (even more worried?).
3 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoWas he wrong...day our daughter was born my mom showed up (uninvited) to the hospital & all hell broke loose!?
My bf (he's 27 i'm 34) & my mom havent gotten along in a while 4 stupid reasons. So as my due date drew nearer we had decided my sister would take my older girls & we would go to the hospital ourselves, calling everyone after our baby was born.
My mother showed up about 6 a.m after we had been there a good 5 hrs and proceeded 2 ignore him. Not even a goodmorning. She was very nice to me but it was if he wasnt even there! I notice this & know its bothering him but what can a woman having hardcore contractions to do?
He says to me hes gona grab a soda (he was actually going to leave), she follows him out & starts to tell him he less than a man, a terrible bf, not a good dad 2 his other lil girl, etc.
He blows up & says leave, you werent invited & you arent welcome. Tells her he will have her banned. He comes back in & says she left. (Didnt want 2 give details til baby was born).
My sister calls & says what did he do mom is a mess...while I'm still in labor! Whos wrong???
17 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoBaptising my baby girl...?
My boyfriend and I have a five month old baby girl, I am a divorced mother of two older girls. I was raised Catholic and have had both of my older girls baptized. He was baptized into the Catholic faith but then his parents converted to Jehovah Witnesses. He says 'maybe' we can baptize her - he really doesn't have a faith to speak of, I want to raise all my girls in the same faith. My other concern is that the church will frown upon the fact that I am divorced and "living in sin" (even though my parish priest said I could get an annulment)-- double whammy!!! Any suggestions on how to handle the situation with him and the separate one with the church? I mean, at this point even if he and I married (which we are planning on doing) it still wouldn't be recognized by my church! HELP!!!
9 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoWhy would my baby refuse her formula?
My 5 month old daughter has been taking formula while I am at work and she is with her babysitter. Yesterday she started to refuse the formula...when I picked her up and took her home she of course wanted to nurse. When she woke up this morning I tried giving her a bit of formula and she still refused it. She is taking baby cereal and water but I am concerned. Why would she suddenly refuse to have her formula?

1 AnswerPregnancy1 decade ago31 weeks pregnant and I came home while my bf was watching a porno...?
I came home yesterday, maybe fifteen minutes earlier than usual and all his stuff was in the living room but he wasn't. I found the dvd cover of his Bigg Busty Babes on the floor. He rushed back up the hallway, pulling his zipper up and asking why I was home early!! He was annoyed, like I can't come home until it was the right time!! He was giggling and asking why I didn't call to say I was coming early...he said it was ridiculous that I was "all hurt" over him watching porn. I was frankly ok until I saw him zipping his pants. The thought of him fondling himself while watching that when he doesnt come anywhere near me sexually unless I initiate it blew me away!! He didn't see why it was such a big deal...am i overreacting????
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoTelling my five year old I'm pregnant?
I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am trying to figure out when and how to tell my five year old she is going to be a big sister. I also have an eight year old who already knows, but am not sure when the appropriate time to tell the little one. She is always saying how she is going to ask God to send us a baby to love but I'm not sure how she will react when she finds out we have one on the way. Also, after we tell her, I am afraid of the "when will the baby be here" questions...
21 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoHow do I share the news...?
My boyfriend and I are expecting our first baby together in early May (he has a daughter and i've got two). My mother and sister are not too fond of him (for a bunch of silly reasons- stubborness is a big factor here) but I don't want to continue leaving them out of the loop so to speak. I don't want to tell them this news that has me on cloud nine and then have them react negatively which will start a whole lot of b.s. that I really don't need to be stressing about right about now. How do I share my news and make it clear that any negativity will not be tolerated?? I'm going to start showing soon and my sister and I work in the same office!! Help...!!!
9 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoDo I need to be taken off Prometrium gradually?
I was given Prometrium to help me sustain this pregnancy through the first semester since I had two previous miscarriages that they attributed to low progesterone levels. I am nearing the end of the first trimester, do I just stop taking it when ordered to do so or is it better to be tapered off of it? I do not want to jeopardize this pregnancy...
