Why dont the police enforce all laws?
Just sticking to traffic issues, illegal tint, running red lights, and speeding to name a few. It seems like it is too much of a hassle for the police to enforce these laws. Why are some laws enforced and others are not?

2 AnswersMotorcycles8 years agoWhy does the media show a five year old picture of Trevon?
The photo that main media uses to show Trevon Martin is a five year old photo. More recent photos show the tattoos and the gold grill in his mouth. His Facebook page shows that he was a drug dealer(self-admitted.) The media portrays him in a not so true light. What happened should not have happened and I think Zimmerman was wrong and should be punished accordingly. My question is why the media thinks its ok to give out false information just to tug on the heartstrings of people? My motto is live by the sword, you dye by the sword. If I were to wear a white sheet and a pointy hat and walk down the street. People would think I was a member of the KKK, right? Well what if I wore baggy pants with my underwear showing and a baggy hoody to hide my face, and I was doing this in a place where there had recently been break ins? Would it be wrong for someone to think I was maybe a member of a gang and was scoping the place out to rob them? I got way off subject there, sorry.

My 17 year old daughter says she is grown and doesnt have to abide by her mothers rules. She skips school and her mother cannot legally make our daughter come home according to police. How is the parent still held liable to the school if there is no way to make a 17 year old follow the rules? The mother faces punishment if the daughter misses school. This is in the state of Georgia. Our daughter lives or is supposed to live with her mother.
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoObama's birth certificate?
With the newest information regarding Obama's non-US birth, will the government or activist groups do anything to remove him from office? Obama’s authentic birth certificate from Coast Memorial Hospital, in Mombasa, KENYA. Now the task is to get the courts to authenticate it and then kick Obama out of office, something they are loathe to do. He’s most likely an illegal alien!
Subject: Well here it is!
Snoopes say's it's true
Here it is, folks! The document we have been waiting for! Now if only SOMEONE in Congress or the Supreme Court will act on this!
Spread this around.....if these documents are as authentic as they certainly seem to be, Obama is NOT qualified to be our President and he sits in the White House illegally!
This is what Obama has spent almost $2M (so far) to hide.
Here's a close-up of the top of the document where you can plainly read his name and his parent's names, etc....
A British history buff was asked if he could find out who the colonial registrar was for Mombasa in 1961.
After only a few minutes of research, he called back and said "Sir Edward F. Lavender” Note the same name near the bottom of the photo above.
Source(s): “ Kenya Dominion Record 4667 Australian library."
And here’s a close-up of the bottom of the document where you can read "Coast Providence of Kenya " and the
official signature of the Deputy Registrar.....
The above document is a "Certified Copy of Registration of Birth", but below is a copy of the actual Certificate of Birth...
the real-deal legal kind of certificate.
The Mombasa Registrar of Births has testified that Obama's birth certificate from Coast Province General Hospital in
Mombasa is genuine. This copy was obtained by Lucas Smith through the help of a Kenyan Colonel who recently got it
directly from the Coast General Hospital in Mombasa , Kenya . Here it is.....
Note the footprint!!
The local Muslim Imam in Mombasa named Barack with his Muslim middle name Hussein so his official name on this certificate is Barack Hussein Obama II.
The grandmother of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. reveals the story of his birth in Mombasa , Kenya , a seaport, after his mother suffered labor pains while swimming at ocean beach in Mombasa
......
"On August 4, 1961 Obama's mother, father and grandmother were attending a Muslim festival in Mombasa , Kenya .
Mother had been refused entry to airplanes due to her nine month pregnancy. It was a hot August day at the festival so the Obama’s went to the beach to cool off. While swimming in the ocean his mother experienced labor pains so was rushed to the Coast Provincial
General Hospital, Mombasa, Kenya where Obama was born a few hours later at 7:21 pm on August 4, 1961(what a sad day for the USA!). Four days later his mother flew to Hawaii and registered his birth in Honolulu as a certificate of live birth which omitted the place and hospital of birth."
Letter from Kitau in Mombasa , Kenya ......
"I happen to be Kenyan. I was born 1 month before Obama at Mombasa medical center. I am a teacher here at the MM Shaw Primary School in Kenya . I compared my birth certificate to the one that has been put out by Taitz and mine is exactly the same. I even have the same registrar and format. The type is identical. I am by nature a skeptical person. I teach science here and challenge most things that cannot be proven. So I went to an official registrar today and pulled up the picture on the web. They magnified it and determined it to be authentic. There is even a plaque with Registrar Lavenders name on it as he was a Brit and was in charge of the Registrar office from 1959 until January of 1964. The reason the date on the certificate says republic of Kenya is that we were a republic when the "copy" of the original was ordered. I stress the word "copy". My copy also has republic of Kenya . So what you say is true about Kenya not being a republic at the time of Obama's
birth, however it was a republic when the copy was ordered.
The birth certificate is genuine. I assure you it will be authenticated by a forensic auditor. We are very proud Obama was born here. We have a shrine for him and there are many people who remember his birth here as he had a white mother. They are being interviewed now by one of your media outlets.
Fortunately they even have pictures of his parents with him immediately after his birth at the Mombasa hospital with the hospital in the back ground.
It will be a proud day for us when it is proven that he was born here and a Kenyan became the most powerful man in the world. I encourage anyone to come here and visit. I will be happy to take you and show you the pictures at the hospital myself as well as my document and many others that
7 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhy did the clock run? Sunday Night football game?
Towards the end of the third quarter the running back made a first down and ran out of bounds with one second left in the third quarter. They moved the chains and started the clock to end the quarter. Doesn't the clock stay stopped when a player takes the ball out of bounds? The commentator didn't mention that it was wrong either. Did I miss something?

Why is such a big deal made of time between wins in the NASCAR sprint cup series? There are 36 races and only 43 drivers can race a week. Not to mention the teams that try to qualify and don't make the race. Only one driver can win a race. Usually there are drivers who win several races out of the 36. So why all the hub-bub about a racer going so long between wins?

I have a teen daughter who wants an 80's retro themed room. I was a teen in the 80's and all I had on my walls were surfing pictures and bikini clad women. I dont think that would go over well with her. I am putting in bunk Murphy beds. Beds that dissapear into the wall is what that is. I am thinking about a disco based theme. Wood floor, disco lights, neon, benchs with lots of pillows or couches. If you have any ideas, please feel free to let me know. Thanks. The best gets 10 points!!!

1 AnswerDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoWhy do union workers strike?
I am confused about this. Unions in America keep stiking, costing the American economy millions if not billions of dollars. Then Americans complain when companies send work overseas. Maybe we should complain about the unions striking. After all, I think $26 an hour is plenty for someone doing a job they could train a monkey to do for just food. Hey look at me, my job is to put this screw in this hole, then that guys job is to tighten that screw. Get real!! $26 an hour to do that? If any workers should be striking it is the teachers of this country who are grossly underpaid. My brother has been teaching for over ten years and has to keep a second job just to pay the bills. So this is to you whiny people who are on strike, GET BACK TO WORK AND STOP WHINING!!! Can someone explain to me a few things? First, why do companies even employ union workers? Second, why are unions selfish? Third, who can blame companies for sending jobs overseas? The replies to this should be pretty interesting.
8 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoShould cops be more lenient?
With the current fuel crisis going on, should the police be more lenient on speeding if someone is traveling down a hill? They have to apply the brakes in order to stay under the speed limit, then press the gas to stay at the speed limit while traveling up a hill. Why not just coast down the hill to acheive more speed, then you wouldnt have to use so much gas going up the hill. Any thoughts on this issue?
