  • Should I apply for a new credit card before or after an auto refinance?

    Details:

    2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS

    APR 14.21%

    Mileage 42000

Amount owed 10555 as of this months most recent payment

    Monthly payment 330 usually

Remaining term 45 months ( under 4 years remaining)

Wanting to refinance for lower APR as well as lower monthly payments hopefully in the high 100's or low 200's.

Currently have one credit card that's paid off. Wanting to expand my revolving lines by adding on a new credit card. Should I apply for a new card before or after an auto refinance?

  • suicidal female question?

Im 23, female and suicidal. I feel hopeless, helpless, and beyond cure. I realize that I'm "young" but that doesn't change the fact that I feel life isn't worth living. I have come to the conclusion that I'm the most unlovable person that I know and I don't want to keep giving myself chances at life when all I do is fail. I've been thinking of jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge to seal the deal or by driving off a cliff (I live in Colorado). Which would be more permanent?

PS I'm not exaggerating my pain or screaming for help for someone to talk me out of this.

  • I'm afraid of losing my virginity after pap smear?

So, I'm 23 and still a virgin. I've always had an incredibly low sense of self worth because of my age, being a virgin, not in a relationship, and still living at home ( though i will be moving out in April on my own!) However, i decided to have a pap test done yesterday to figure out why my menstrual cycles have become so irregular over the past 8 months. Im not completely sold on birth control so my physician decided we should do a pap. I told her that i was still "intact" so she decided to use the smallest tool she had (so she says). I felt like I was completely ripped to shreds inside and I literally started crying hysterically. Ive never been able to use tampons because im REALLY small down there and they make me uncomfortable. I have never experienced a pain so intense in my life. She offered me four packs of lube to use with tampons on my next cycle to "become more comfortable with my body" but I'm more ashamed now than I was before.

How do I get over the traumatic experience in order to have sex if and when I choose to do so? I think I'll be traumatized for life.

... "I don't get paid to answer your questions. I do it for free". Is it just me, or is that one of the most rude comments you have ever heard?

  • Christians: Why isn't my heart broken over sin?

Lately I have been having trouble dealing with a certain sin. I realized that I am saved by God's grace and not works but I do believe in repentance. However, I have not been able to mourn over my sins. I understand that God grants repentance but lately I feel stuck. I do battle heavily with depression and I feel alone in my battle. What advice do you have for me?

  • do you HAVE to have teller experience to become a personal banker?

I have no teller experience but I am applying for a Personal Banker position for a credit union (I didn't pass the pre-assessment with Chase). I know it's preferred to have teller experience but I am a strong salesman with years experience in customer service and cash handling, I am a fast learner, and I have a strong will to do all that is expected of me.

  • Christians, what are your thoughts on Mercy Ministries?

I am not asking this question to judge the organization. My sister is in desperate need of guidance and a friend told me about this organization. I visited their website and it is unclear on how they lead people to Jesus or their doctrinal beliefs. What is clear is that they have more charismatic roots which I am some what against. Can anyone give me feedback on this program? Is it effective?

  • Poll: How to pass a pre-employment personality test?

I know this isn't the correct section to post this question but I figured I would get the most answers here. I took the pre-assessment test for chase to become a personal banker. I don't know how or why but I failed. Unlike other pre-assessments that I have taken, this didn't have a time limit so I took 1.5 hours to complete it. I know I didn't fail the math section so I'm wondering how I didn't pass the personality section. Does anyone have any advice on how to pass the personality section of the pre-assessment test? I plan on taking the assessment for Wells Fargo and I don't want to fail.

Thanks in advance for the answers.

  • WIll I become an abusive parent if I was abused as a child?

I am currently 21 and this question is completely hypothetical. Just a few minutes ago, I found out that I was abused as an infant by my mother. I was raised by my dad's mom and I have never met my real mom. If she abused me, will history repeat itself? How does one determine if they will be an unfit parent?

  • Can someone truly be Christian if they don't fear hell?

If someone doesn't have a fear of hell, it sounds like they don't fear or understand God"s eternal wrath and punishment against sinners. Why or why shouldn't a Christian fear hell?
