9 AnswersPolls & Surveys6 years agoSolids at 5 or 5.5 months for full term baby?
I read everywhere 4-6 m is recommended. If my child was 40.5 weeks old when born can I start at 5 or 5.5 months? He is 17 lbs and EBF. What are the cons of starting early (plan to do BLW).
Thx
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby6 years agoDid any moms successfully breastfeed till 12 months using "'moms on call"??
Looking at the schedule it says feed baby 4 times ages 4-6 months.
THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL my kid could get by with so infrequent nursing and my supply would diminish.
Did anyone do it ????

3 AnswersNewborn & Baby6 years agoDo you ever get embarrassed by your child's behavior ?
I love my daughter so MUCH. I found her just perfect since the moment she was born. She's 2.5 and just has terrible manners. She never says please or thank you when we are around company. We're working on this but I just can't help but be embarrassed when I see kids her age saying please and thank you and my child doesn't. I get very self conscious and assume people are judging me as a bad mom. Am I overreacting ??? I don't want my girl to perceive that I don't love and accept her as she is but I also am disappointed in her behavior.
8 AnswersParenting6 years agoNap schedule for 4 month old?
I never put my first kid on a schedule till she was 1.5 years old. My baby is 4 months old and nurses on demand. Goes to bed at 630 pm and wakes at 7 am (arouses 1-2 times to nurse) in the day time I let him just eat when he wants and sleep when he wants but sometimes that means he doesn't nap more than 1 hour total bc he's so interested in what big sis is doing. I wonder if it's unfair to him. Should I designate nap times for him? When??
7 AnswersNewborn & Baby6 years agoIs my husband being unreasonable or am I regarding our toddler and manners?
My daughter doesn't consistently say please thank you or good morning. I feel like that's normal behavior for a 2.5 years old and when she doesn't say them I let it slide and lead by example.
When she doesn't say these things around my husband he gets very angry and yells at her (and me) about her lack of manners. I feel like he is modeling rude behavior the exact opposite of what he is intending. He thinks I am too lax on her.
What do you think ?
6 AnswersToddler & Preschooler6 years agoBreastfeeding and not losing weight ⒽⒺⓁⓅ ⓂⒺ!?
ⓑⓐⓑⓨ is 3 months old and EBF. Already doubled his birth weight. I lost 30 of the 50 lbs I gained in the first 2 months. It's been a month and I've been counting calories and working out for close to 2 weeks. The scale doesn't move. What gives ?!?
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby6 years agoWhy is the scale not moving????
I'm always 105-110 lbs. I had a baby 3 months ago and lost 30 lbs the first 2 months. I have 20 lbs to loose. I nurse, and exercise every day, and following my fitness pal I eat just the right number of calories.
It's been 9 days since I started exercising and the scale is not moving!!!! It's discouraging.
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness6 years agoWhy does my toddler only act up when others are around?
My daughter is 2.5 and when we're home together she is awesome. Rarely whines or has a tantrum and usually a threat of a time out is enough.
When we go out w friends (zoo pool Etc) or anywhere in public she acts out and I have to give timeouts in public. I hate this.
Any tips??? She's my first kid.
