I was accepted, enrolled in a plan and payed my premium. Still I am not active until Nov 1. I am currently in the hospital where I had half my left leg amputated last week and half the right foot amputated yesterday. Obviously I need my health insurance. Again, my active date is Nov 1 and I need it to be now. Any ideas? Who to contact? Any advice is huge. Thank you.

What is the best way to find out if there is anyone trying to intercept my refund?

Hello. Last year our federal tax return was intercepted for its entire amount for an old college loan. The company that placed the lien on us has since sold the loan to another company. We have heard nothing from this company and in fact have even had trouble tracking them down. My question is, does the lein placed by the previous debt collector transfer to the new debt collector?

After noticing my gas bill was super high I started looking into why. Here is what I found:

-We have 1 natural gas furnace in the building.

-We have 3 apartments in the building.

-Off the single gas line coming into the house we have 3 meters

-The meters for the 2nd and 3rd apartment have 2 lines going off them one to a gas hot water tank and one to their range and dryer.

-Our meter has a line going to our range and dryer and then a line to the single furnace.

-Called the gas company and they tell us our gas bill is double the 2nd and 3rd apartment and we don't even use the heat

Any ideas? I feel like we are paying for the heat for all 3 floors.

Hello. Is there a REAL way to view someones criminal records online? I place "real" in caps because we have been scammed by a few websites claiming to sell criminal backround checks. You put in all the info and it matches their database only to be told they have no criminal records. They have his middle name, mothers name, date of birth and previous addresses so we know they have the right person. The subject I am investigating acknoledges he was in prison and that he has been there two times. We just question his reason for being incarcerated. Still these sites say he has no record... The state in question is New Hampshire. Any ideas? This is my step-sons father and we really would like to know what his father did. We are worried. Any help would be great.

I have an old drive that crashed on me (wouldn't boot) about a year ago. I now need data off it... Yuck. So my motherboard uses SATA and both the broken drive and my current drive are. So I plug the broken drive in to the SATA2 spot and boot. When in windows I see it "find" the broken drive during startup showing the manufacturer and model. However once booted the broken drive is not in "my computer".

Any ideas how to access this p.o.s?

I use ICall right now. Works well but with a monthly fee... Is there anything better I am missing?

My little sister has recently developed a strange condition. Not going to bore you with details about her quest for a diagnosis but rest assured she has been to doctors, specialists and they have nothing...

Heres the condition...

She gets a chemical taste in her mouth if she eats Skittles candy, Coke or other non diet sodas, mustard, breath mints and touth paste. Im sure theres alot more but this is all shes compiled to date.

We have tried process of elimination and it points towords these items...

This morning after some research I asked her to try some pure lemon juice and it caused that same taste. I asked knowing they use lemon juice in alot of items.

Any ideas would be great.

Is this failed social health care plan of Obama's the firsts step to showing the American people this man is completely out of touch?

A bill that costs more than it does now? What is the purpose of proposing a plan that will in the end cost more and hurt the quality of health care for people who work?

My computer has decided to continuously restart itself... I am very computer savy and in fact built this computer.

Case fan, Video card fan, custom (higher rpm) power supply fan

About a month or so ago it started just rebooting. At random times. I replaced the hard drive and reinstalled windows. Still rebooted... So, I reformatted the HD and reinstalled everything from scratch. Was good for about 3 weeks and today it has started restarting again.

Any ideas?

My 7 year old daughter and I have a VERY strong relationship. I have her Friday to Monday 3 weekends a month. I have never missed a visitation and never been late. I live 60 miles away and do all the transportation.

My ex has been trying to limit or stop my visitation with my daughter for a few months now.

First she filed a restraining order which affidavit was all lies and the judge refused it stating in her ruling "She has no reasonable fear" which is very true. I have never hurt or threatened her.

Then she tried to limit visitation stating that my daughter has been late to school due to her getting picked up Monday. I got a copy of her attendance record and it shows no tardiness. The judge denied it stating that there is no reson to interfere with visitation that has worked for years.

Today, I went to pick her up and was handed a temporary court order suspending visitation. In it, my ex claims I am an alcoholic (I am a recovering alcoholic clean since 5/5/08) that I have moved and she has no address, and my phone has been disconnected. All lies. This time, she was able to see a different judge and he granted the suspension.

Can anything be done regarding her lies to manipulate the court?

I have 2 kittens. 1 male 1 female. We also have a 14+ year old female. We have a large litter box and we keep it VERY clean. Still, the kittens keep going on the floor next to it. They go in it to poop but they pee outside the box...

We originally thought it was the scent but we just moved into a new place. New place, new litter, still the kittens go on the floor.

Any ideas?
