  • Switching from breastmilk to formula for my 6 month old?

I have been exclusively pumping for 6 months and I am starting to decrease my production....not looking for advice on how to increase I have tried everything. Also with working full time and only pumping (my daughter has reflux and nursing directly from me makes it worse, does better on a bottle with a little rice cereal & her Zantac meds)

She is going to be on Enfamil AR for her reflux...

My question is....how do I transition her to formula and myself from pumping to make it as easy as possible on the both of us....

    Thank You

  • Reoccurring Dream is Keeping me up at night?

I keep having a dream that I am in a room with all doors and I can hear people that I love on the other sides of the doors (my boyfriend and my daughters) but I can't get to anyone. I wake up feeling very anxious and I cant fall back asleep. I have had this dream several times in the past month.

Any ideas what this may mean?

  • Baby is 12 days old...am i producing enough milk?

I am breastfeeding and up until yesterday I thought everything was going great. My little girl was eating all the time, sleeping 1.5 to 3 hours at a time. My breats were leaking. But now my breasts don't feel as full and tight and they aren't leaking like they were. She is still eating but not for as long each time and seems more like she is snacking rather than getting a full feeding. She is having plenty of wet diapers..poops are not quite as big.

Any suggestions I am concerned she is not getting enough milk.

  • 38 weeks and Dr wants me to be home?

I am 38 weeks pregnant, having alot of swelling and the Dr wants me to stay home, BUT I am not sure if the Short Term Disability Company (Sun Life) that my employer uses will approve it. If not I need to work I cant afford to stay home without any pay.

What are your thoughts? Do you think they will approve and if they don't would it be bad to go to work?

    Thank you

  • Should I take the 3 hour glucose test?

I am 33 weeks pregnant, I took the 1 hour test @ 28 weeks and got a 135....I guess the cut off is 135. So the Dr is telling me it is at my discretion to take the 3 hour test or not.

I had a terrible time with the 1 hour test, I was sick and jittery for 2 days after drinking that sugary stuff, I am concerned as to how it will effect me for 3 hours. There hasn't been any signs of protein in my urine at all and I didn't have gestational diabetes with my 1st pregnancy.

I have been looking up info online and the guidelines seem to say that the 3 hours test is recommended if your levels are over 140. So I am really having a hard time deciding.

    Any input is really appreciated.

    Thank you

  • 31 weeks and baby's weight is 4lbs 2oz?

I am worried that she will get too big to deliver naturally, they are estimating if I go to full term for her to be about 9.5-10lbs? Does that sound like an accurate rate of growth over the next 9 weeks.

    Thank you

  • Decreased Fetal Movement by Position?

I am almost 29 weeks pregnant, the past week or so my little girl has been moving alot less. So yesterday I called the Dr and they had me go to the hospital to be checked. Her heart rate was fine, and had an ultrasound to check the fluids to make sure she was ok. They said she is great, and that she was moving on the ultrasound, but I couldn't feel the movements we were seeing. Is that normal?

She was breech and is now head down, would that be the reason I don't feel her nearly as much as I used to? They said she is ok, but she used to be ALOT more active than she is now.

Thank you for your replies :-)

  • 27 weeks and Carpal Tunnel?

I have been waking up at night with terrible wrist, hand and arm pain, it goes away by mid morning. I asked the nurse at my Dr's office and she said this is common in pregnancy.

Has anyone else experienced this and does it go away after birth?

    Thank you

  • 26 weeks pregnant....baby is all on right side?

my little girl was breech at my last ultrasound (at 19 weeks). I believe she still is since I have been getting kicked in my cervix, but also getting movement on my right side. When I lay on my back my stomach is bigger on the right side. Is this normal for the baby to be all on one side?

    Thank you

  • Do you have to fast before Glucose Test?

I am having my Glucose test done in 3 weeks @ 3:15pm. Do I have to fast before hand? If not what is ok to eat to not effect the blood test so I don't have to go for the 3 hour one?

    Thank you

  • How far am I.....confused?

    I am 19 weeks pregnant and was thinking I was 4 months 3 weeks...right?

But I am reading a book and it said that you start your 5th month @ 18 weeks, that would put me at 5 months and 2 weeks.

    Which is right?
