I rented th apartment for 10.5 years. Landlord had security deposit and last month's rent. She has not returned the security deposit for the following reasons: painting the apartment, cleaning carpets, purchased new blinds for the windows (there were no blinds when I moved in). I have not been paid interest on the deposit or the last month's rent. I have a court date next week. Do you think I will get the money I am entitled to?

He doesn't want Brady to be with Ariana because of her "line of work", yet he is the main drug supplier. Seems his moral compass is a little out of whack.

I am beginning to think that although I love my husband, I need more respect for myself and our marriage. I think I might want out.

every day is a struggle, either drinking or pouting because he's not out drinking with the guys. Yesterday he told me he wants a divorce so he can do what he wants when he wants. Granted, I don't handle the whole drinking issue well. There have been many problems with spending way too much money, not coming home on time etc. And now I am afraid every time that all those things will happen again. I am anxious and become defensive about the whole subject.

My future MIL and SIL's put on a very small brunch shower yesterday. I was surprised and today I found out that my co-workers were not invited. Their feelings are hurt and now don't want to come to the wedding! How should I handle this situation? I feel like I need to apologize, yet it wasn't my fault. I personally would have invited them, but was not consulted about any of it.

I cancelled my wedding (which was supposed to be August 17) due to my fiance's drinking problem. We are trying to deal with all these problems and all I keep hearing from him is what he is losing by getting sober. Why isn't he afraid of losing me? I am hurting just as much! My dreams and life are altered as well. I just don't know what to do now...

My fiance has been struggling with alcoholism. He wasn't drinking when we met, dated, or became engaged. He has just recently begun to drink again. I couldn't get him to moderate. Thursday night, he became violent, although I gave back just as violently. Friends insisted I get the restraining order for the weekend. It's going to run out tomorrow, although now friends, relatives are insisting that I renew it. I feel like I will never get passed any of this if I don't just let it go. Suggestions?

We haven't spoken in 5 years. She refused to attend my brother's wedding (in the same state she lives in) and kept my elderly grandmother from going as well. I live 1,000 miles from her and don't think she would bother to make the trip. At the same time I feel obligated to invite her, although I doubt she would even respond. She hasn't ever even seen my nephew ( her own grandson in over 4 years.)

How do I spread the news that the engagement is off without giving all the gory details that honestly aren't anyone's business? I don't even know where to start...

Ever since my Gemini man propsed to me, it's as if we are complete strangers. The more I try to be close to him, the worse things become. Any advice?????

We have been told that it is not possible and that it would set an "unwanted precedent" . I don't understand why this would be, the church holds other events like christenings on Sundays. And besides, isn't the church suppose to try to accomodate it's parishioners? We aren't trying to be difficult, it's just that Sunday is the only day that works for us.
