Why does my boss have many companies at companies house?

I have looked at Companies House at my boss and he has many companies that have been dissolved over 20 years. He is an accountant and I can see that a number of these businesses are infact some of our clients business and he is down as a Company director or he has resigned as a company director.

Why would you do this?

Is he dodgy?

Or is it part of his job as an accountant to set up companies for clients and have his name on them?

I rent a flat and last year I spent a lot of money on gas to heat it up. The combi boiler has controls on it to regulate the temp of the water or the radiatiors but it is either an on or off situation as there is no room thermostat. I have asked the landlord to install one but he is not very forthcoming. The radiators do not have thermostat controls either. Is it part of building regs or something to have them installed?

I play those addictive games on facebook and I have needed to ask for more neighbours. I ask for friend requests for others that play the same games. They are in a seperate list but how do I, if possible, stop that list from seeing my whole pages. Can I restrict their access to my Facebook info?

My 4 year old dog is in good health etc..but he sometimes eats his food..then throws it up (seemingly on purpose) and then eats it? Why does he do that?

I recently gave up work and have decided to change my career and study at home. I am claiming CTC and Housing benefit but I am not claiming job seekers allowance as I do not want to work at the moment and concentrate on my studies. If i go on job seekers allowance they ask you to get a job and go for an interview etc....When you claim your NI gets paid....what will happen if i dont claim it..what will happen to my NI contributions...is there a way that this can be paid?

I recently left my job and I would now like to study at home. I have put a claim in for housing benefit and council tax benefit and my Child Tax Credits have increased. I obvioulsy do not want to look for a job so job seeker allowance would not be the one for me. Is there another benefit to claim? If i claim income support, will that reduce the CTC..therefore pointless claiming?

Is anyone else having problems with Facebook Chat? It shows people are online and when I try to talk to them they all disappear and it says there is no one online? I bought a dongle...could it be that?

I use Google Chrome and have just installed internet explorer 8. I cannot find it now. There is nowhere on my desktop or in my programs for internet explorer. Where did it go?

My employer has asked me for access to my medical records. I have been signed unfit for work by my GP for 2 weeks and have only been off for 8 days and already they are asking to see my medical records. Why would they like to see them? What information are they trying to gain? Is 8 days off reasonable time to ask for medical records?

I would like to go back to NVQ assessing to find out the my D32 is out of date and replaced with an A1 certificate. Is there a short update course that I could do rather than do it all over again? How long does it take? I do not have any candidates to assess so I am hoping that you don't need those either! Any advice please

I am waiting to have a previous disciplinary heard at an appeal and in the mean time my boss has informed me that i will be up for another disciplinary after the appeal has occurred and is investigating that so that he can invite me as soon as my appeal is over. Seems a bit unfair?

Can the person that carried out the investigation then conduct the disciplinary meeting?

My boss investigated some issues with me at work and has invited me to a disciplinary. As the letter is from him and does not tell me who the disciplining officer is. This leads me to believe that he will be conducting the meeting, which I feel would be prejudiced!

Can I claim housing benefit if i am out of work and my husband earns £17k pa? It is possible that I may lose my job, which comes with accommodation, therefore I would be jobless and homeless at the same time! If we rented a flat, would we get help until I found a new job. The other thing is, my husband owns a flat, which is mortgaged and rented out. We make no money from it, and contribute towards the mortgage. It does have some equity in it, but don't want to sell it as its for the long term and i would only intend to be out of work for a short time. Would having a flat go against a claim?

Before anyone leaves any nasty comments, this will be the first time ever that i would be needing to claim any benefits and have worked for 28 years, its just i don't know anything about the benefits system.

3 weeks ago I had fentons and perineoplasty and everything seems to be healing fine. Unfortuneatley I have now got thrush and would like to treat this with a pessary, I know that i can put in a tampon if I wish so the insertion is not the problem but is the chemical in the pessary advisable to use? Also, how long do the stitches take to dissolve?

He pulls the towel down from the rail and scrunches it up to spray on it. You need to be careful which towel you dry your face on in our house!! I understand that they do this but why has he all of a sudden taken a liking to doing it daily and going to the trouble of getting himself a towel?? Any advice please xx

Sex is so painful that me and my husband don't do it anymore. I suffer a lot from thrush and have had this checked out by the GP and the outcome was that some women get it often and there is nothing they can do to stop it. It is not getting passed back as we don't have sex!. Anyway as time went on sex was painful and so not good for me. inside feels like sand paper and the skin at the bottom of my hole feels like its gonna rip!! I am well lubricated and have even tried KY to help too. Still hurts. Now we have got to a stage where penetration is absolutely impossible, We have go ourselves into a vicious circle...it hurts, so i got nervous and anxious, it hurt even more to the point where now i cant do it. What do i do?? I really try hard to relax but i think its subconscious and don't know how to break this cycle. My husband is forgiving but it is now starting to be a problem as we do nothing at all. We have been together 10 years and this started to occur a year ago, progressivly getting worse. Any advice please xx

In mission 2 all I have left to do is get my relationship up to 30 with the doctor (Max) then I can move on but I am stuck. He is really hard to get a relationship with and I am now on -90..... Everything I ask him he loses points..really getting on my nerves now as I dont think I can progress til he is happy!! Any ideas or tricks xx

i have tried to burn music that i bought on itunes onto a cd and it comes up with an error "4580", and cancels the burning and stops..have tried a few times with the same error..is it possible or are the songs protected?
