My ex husband and I have been divorced 4 years now. We have maintained a great friendship, so much so it makes other people uncomfortable. I still see him when he is in town (Air-Force), we usually plan a little event we he does visit. We tried match.com together and we have been there for each other during crazy relationships and bad exes.

He is my best friend and I recently asked him if I could ever win his love and affection back, now that we are older/wiser.

His answer is as follows:

"It's not that I don't want to answer the question, I'm just thinking long and hard about it. I'm sorry I should have told you that I wasn't intentionally ignoring you. So I'm sorry for that."

What does that mean? Should I walk away from him and the friendship? Should I pretend I never mentioned it?

I don't know what to make of my friendship/relationship with this guy. I am posting quotes from two separate emails and I just want opinions on what I should think.

Just two weeks ago:

"...Yes we have had our rough times, but no matter the situation or label you have wanted us to have we have always been a couple. I love you and always will as you have become a big part of my life and experiences but I dont want drama, arguments, etc. If you dont think that is possible or that you want to take things slowly with me then just tell me.."

I just need a non bias view on the matter. I really love this guy, but I am confused.

How long were you divorced before you got back together? Has it worked out so far? What things did the two of you have to change?

I really want to be with him, I want to have children and grow old with him. How can I get this across to him and have him believe it?

My husband and I have been arguing about how much time he spends with his friends. He told me he just wanted to be able to do whatever, whenever and not have it effect me.

I need to get my licenses and a permit for a home based business, I was referred to the Department of Revenue. Can I get everything done there or will I need to visit other places?

I recently discovered my husband was ordering porn, because our bill had increased by $30-$50. Well I decided to investigate all of the other mysteriously "higher" cable bills and discovered he has been doing it for who knows how long.
