I recently purchased a programmable coffee maker, and I was wondering...

1) Is it okay to put milk in the carafe and then have the coffee pour into it and mix? (Note that I am *NOT* putting the milk where the water goes)

2) Would it be safe to put the milk there the night before and drink it early in the morning? It wouldn't sit there for more than 6 hours, but I'm wondering if it's still safe.

Hi everyone!

I am a college graduate with a B.A. in psychology and cognitive studies. I learned that I wanted to study pharmacology late into my college career so I could not make any changes to my major. All the programs I see for pharmacology are Ph.D.s which require some sort of science background whether it's biology or chemistry. If a Ph.D. in pharmacology (specifically neuropharmacology) is my end goal, how could I get there? What Master's program would be appropriate?

If someone is seeing an after image, are parts of the brain activated that can be seen using brain imaging techniques? If someone is observing a colored after-image, are the V1 and V4 areas of the brain activated?

I will graduate in the spring with a psychology degree (BA). I will be moving to Italy after I graduate, and I was wondering if there were any jobs that would require me to travel abroad (maybe not immediately, but eventually).

Also, if it's not travel abroad, a job that would transfer its employees to other countries.

What should I look for? Would HR allow me to travel? Any ideas? (If you know specific companies, please let me know!)

Details from my study...

-I asked the SAME people to rate from 1 to 4 how much they talk about their own interests and how much they talk about the woman's interests (when they are "hitting on" a woman).

-The same group of men said that on average, they rate themselves at a 1.69 when talking about their interests and at a 3.38 when talking about the woman's interests.

Now, is there a test to see the statistical difference between those two numbers? If so, and I'm sure there is, what would it be? Would a paired-samples t-test work or not?

(For example, if they rated 2.12 for one and 2.19 on the other, I'm sure it would not be statistically significant).

I asked the SAME people to rate how much they talked about subject A and how much they talked about subject B on a scale from 1 to 5.

To know if there is a statistically significant difference in their scores, should I use a paired samples t-test? Is that the appropriate test to run?

For a survey I did, I asked people to rate from 1 to 5 how much they spoke about a specific subject. I asked people from two different countries. The average from country A was 2.27 and the average from country B was 1.69

What test should I use in order to see if there is a statistical difference between the two averages?

A month, three months.......?

I recently bought a camera through Amazon (where Amazon was the seller), but once it gets to me I will be leaving for a trip and I won't be back to the States until a month and a half after. If the camera has a defect or doesn't work properly, how much time after I purchased it do I have to exchange it for a working camera? (The camera is a gift, so I don't want to open it!)

When you see a woman you're attracted to and go talk to her, do you usually focus on showing her your qualities and talk about your interests/looks or do you focus on her qualities/looks and what interests her? What is the most effective? And do you see others around you do the same or would you consider your "game" to be different from other people around you?

I am REALLY interested in this topic, but no matter what I look for, I cannot find a good scholarly article that talks about the prevalence of the masculine ideal and hypermasculinity in society in the United States...which is hard to believe. I also wanted to see the difference between masculinity in the US and compare it to Europe (specifically Italy, because that's where I'm from).

I wanted to do a project on this next semester or maybe next year...but if there's no research on it then I will have to look for something else to do :( Please help! This is a topic I am very interested in!

I am currently reading Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen, and in one of the chapters she says -

One of the criteria for borderline personality disorder is severe dissociative symptoms, but would this be considered dissociative? I can't manage to find a clear answer online. If it is not, then what explains what is happening to her?

Ho trovato un hotel che per mezza pensione (2 persone per 7 notti) costa 366 euro e per solo colazione 308 euro. La differenza e di 58 euro che diviso per due persone e diviso per i 7 giorni sono ~4 euro.

Non so quanto costi la vita a Las Palmas, ma per uscire a cena si spende aprossimatamente 4 euro a testa o di piu?
