Let's say you see a teen kid in his own backyard, waving a loaded pistol around unsafely, pointing it at himself, at the dog, at other kids, and generally ignoring safety rules.

You say, 'Hey kid, you shouldn't be doing that, keep the pistol pointed in a safe direction.'

And the teen petulantly answers, 'The pistol only fires if I pull the trigger, and I didn't pull the trigger did I? No. So STFU!'

The kid is on his own property, parents or any other adults are unavailable, and no one has been harmed.

When you set up your tent, does your tent sit on the ground? Or do you put some kind of ground pad under the tent first?

I've read conflicting opinions. Some say when the water is dark use a lighter colored worm, and a dark worm in clear water. Others say use a dark color in darker water, and light color in clear water.

I use Spell Check in Yahoo Answers. Every time I Spell Check an answer using the name Obama, Spell Check tells me I have a spelling error. And then Spell Check suggests the correct spelling as, Osama. Does Yahoo Answers know something about Obama that hasn't reached the media yet?

I fight an uphill battle against the phrase 'But It Works'. I'm a Mainframe Systems Programmer. Every day I see non structured code, return codes not checked, and inefficient routines. When I question or suggest a better way, I hear 'But It Works'. Do we live in a world where 'Elegant' has been completely replaced with 'It Works' as good enough? Does anyone else find merit in doing things to a higher standard than just 'It Works'??

In terms of using the stick and rudder, how is a barrel roll performed? Any actual pilots out there, that are able to do a barrel roll? Would full left rudder and back on the stick do it?

I've read that roll, pitch, and yaw control movement 'around' the x, y, z axis. But a barrel roll involves movement 'along' the y axis. How does an airplane generate movement along the y axis?
