ok guys heres the issue. about 1 month ago i had the kidney stone pain issue with passing a stone, it lasted as before with my tiny ones all night long, with eventually falling asleep and waking up thinking it was in the bladder to pea out eventually. Well I had a doctor follow up on it during a rutine visit and had had me get a KUB xray, which shows its half way between kidney and bladder nearly a month later.

He wants me to get lipotripsy done to break it up, says its in the best location.

here's my question to all...

I have had no issue,pain, cramping, not anything in over amonth since the inital pain of it moving. I also know the doctor HIMSELF will get a little more then $2000 for the procedure and the hospital will get the other $7000. And with my insurance, my cost out of pocket will be around $2800.00. (well I dont have $2800). So my question is after readying so many people passing much bigger stones.

What do yall think? {devils advocate}. doctor makes $2k getting me too do this, yet others pass 4-6mm stones everyday. plus i have no issues, syptoms, pain or anything right now???

Me and the wife have a Wii & a older xbox(used as XboxMEdiaCenter, but still plays games).

We really enjoyed playing together Kirby Dreamland, we had a few hard spots but used the internet to help us though. We enjoyed Mario World, but half way through it had so many trick moves required we become frustrated and quit. Donkey Kong Returns was the same way, half way thru it just became to hard for us. Ive tried a few other games but nothing was as fun as the co-op Kirby game. Between the 2 units can you think of any games for us to try that was simple,silly,fun, and co-op like the kirby dreamland game?? I have a Wii & older Xbox. We do like playing the tennis, but that bores out very quick. We are early 40's, so were not crazy about stuff that gets stupid hard after 3-4 levels, but do expect stuff to get harder as we learn new moves,and can always go to youtube for help with levels(im the techy,so...). Tried the lego games also, she didnt care for them, wii doesnt explain the controls and abilitys like i remember it did in xbox360 and such at friends houses, bottom line, she was crazy about it.

Ive had my male-pup now for 6 years (he's jjust as playful as a newborn is still); But over the years ive one from playing with him and holding him and loving on him to just a pat on the head and let him walk around the yard with me. I feel very guilty about it , as i can tell he misses being in my lap and me holding him and such. But i cant take the dog hair on me anymore its just unbareable. Over 3 years ago, we put up a child gate to keep the dog in the kitchen/laundry area only and when we go outside and into the garage( hangout area, ac/heat, pooltable ). Anyway, we brush the dog daily, monthly baths. He walks outside and the grass alone is covered in hair badly. Their must be a answer. im honestly just going to find some dirty house, with non clean type people to take him too, so he can get the attention he needs, from people who dont care about the house gets and ow dirty they get with hair( trust me i know people like this exist, ive seen them, and avoid them once i see thats hw they are..).. Is their ANY product out thier that will solve this problem?without shaving the dog down to skin only?? or would shaving him down to skin only and letting only a new coat come it solve the problem completely??

i have a hypothetical question, its basically a real situation, but trying to make the details as basic as I can.

I work in Virginia, I work for a job that says I have to pick up pieces on a conveyor belt and stack them.

lets say they have a rule in the rule book that says if I drop/miss 5 pieces and they break im terminated..

now lets say you was doing this job for years, and now due to the reccession, they have decided to let a few people go, and to do so they have decided to speed up the machine, and dont care if you and EVERYONE else cant keep up.. And Still for every peice that falls/missed hits the floor, you get a write-up, and the first 2-3 employees to get 5 are let go, then they would obviuosly slow down the machine once to the staff they want(plus this way they feel they kept the best of the best).

Obviuosly they would do this to prevent the employees from getting unemployment, as many have left already some did and some did not get it, based on the simular situation.

And obviously the employees that still have a job wont stand with you, and the company gets to say , Hey its in the rule book, 5 mistakes and your terminated, doesnt say how fast we can run the machine...

Is their ANYWAY to fight this kind of situation and get unemployment if this happens to me?? This has been going on for a while and a few have left and not able to unemployment, since they were fired for breaking company rules.. (im not sure un realistic goals causing mistakes is should be seen as breaking the rules)?

So many people unable to find jobs, I cant afford to loose everything, because a company is trying to unload a percentage of the workforce by termination... And we all know walking into another job right now is impossible ( same chance as the lottery almost )/

I want to work, I come to work everyday, i never call in sick, i never miss time, i work all overtime as needed, willing to do everything asked, how can you make a rule thats impossible to follow and call it the legal loop hole to terminate employees (at the holidays too).. this is so unreal.

**The description i gave although is not the exact same thing, but it is 100% equal to the real situation(which would be much harder to explain)

Any legal advise out thier??? to protect me if im the next one on the chopping block to at least get unemployment???? some money atleast might keep my house for me and the family(thats #1 over food,utilitys). Im a good guy, but i WILL NOT loose my house by ANY MEANS!!! ANY!!!!! MEANS!!!!

Hell of a title..

My wife has the donut around her abdomen. She is a small person.

She eats a egg and piece of plain toast for breakfast, a bowl of simple soup for lunch , and has 3 ritz crackers and 1 carrot for dinner. Sunday thru friday. Saturday we get to cook steaks on the grill and she will eat a steak and a baked potatoe. breakfast and lunch is the same as the rest of the week.

She has more energy then ive ever seen, she cleans inside the house outside the house on the roof many days, picks up the gum balls in the yard anything to stay super busy,,

she does the P90X, everyday. She runs on the treadmill for 1 mile EVERYDAY. She uses the Weight Bench EVERYDAY,,,

For 7 years or more she has always weighed 120-125 lbs (she weighs herself everyday), this number has never moved from this. She got pregnant at 30 and lost the baby and her body has never been the same since. she is very small framed. 5'-5". Her WHole family are very big though, so may be in the genes, but she will kill herself i promise before she allows herself to get any bigger. someone help me here, what other options are their??

She will never stop until the belly flab is gone, And I will never see any food in this house until she gets what she wants. The house is bare as she does not want to smell food, as Im being evil to her if i eat a good smelling meal in the house.

How is this possible, their is almost no one in the universe as active as her, and works out as her, and eats as little as her, and has as much energy as her, yet she cant reach the perfect body, or at least ribs sticking out or something. if she cheats on food or something and takes a few days off she gains 4-5 lbs instantly, then she starves and works out even more..??

She refuses to go to the doctor though, so dont say that, just give me other ideas to toss at her..

No where on the net will give you the exact specs of what is healthy only basics/vague answers.

I just want to know what is healthy and needed daily for my body, i will then turn it into some type of stew, and fix a small batch thru out the day everyday and will be happy (until saturday night, when i cut loose on the grill).

I dont have time to cook perfect little dishes everynight, and cant afford different dishes everynight either.

Just a chicken with rice & vegtable slow cook stew with everything in it is all I need I assume. I can take a supplement also if needed. I dont have time to cook and eat heathly and am always on the run. but I do have the ability to to heat up a bowl of stew at breakfast,lunch, dinner and down it with a v8 if that is good enough.

Im just tired of having to eat out all the time and when i try to cook something to bring to work, it either has as much crap in it as fast food, or its better but tastes like sh^t...

I guess if our scientists & doctors said EXACTLY what the body needs, then their would be so many food-companys out of a job, huh??

anyone have the answer for me??? I dont like eggs(unless its in fried rice), i dont like chesse (unless its motzerella on pizza), and I dont like Milk(but ok to use as ingredient in recepies)..

i can swallow a cold sandwich(sucks to bad), really need warm food.

dont like salid dressings, but will eat a raw salid just fine, no dressing.

did i mention im picky, and have very basic tastebuds.

Most important-> I hate all forms of SeaFood(i know im crazy); except HushPuppies(I know, but they are always served on the plate(hehe)...

**And cant stand strong spices, im a plain salt & pepper guy. some basic rubs on ribs ok, steak marinates usually ok(just depends), but mostly a salt/peper only guy, not crazy abotu all the extra.

**My idea of something that sounds good would be to take (ground beef, Kielbasa Sausage {cut upin little chucks}, Onions, green pepers, maybe mushrroms, cooked in a PREGO-SAUCE {yep-spaghetti sauce}) and pour it over some angle-hair noodles. For some reason i doubt thats healthy, but this is something I consider a top notch meal. (dont forget the texas toast)..

she spends the ENTIRE DAY (EVERYDAY) for over 15yrs. doing the same thing, **We live in a 900squ-foot house** with a small yard(average). Lots of flowers (replaced 3 times a year also).

gets up at 7am, does clothes, puts away dishes from night before, does her eye makeup, vaccuums, deals with the dog, takes a bath, gets dressed, then backinto the house to watch a soap opera while she eats a quick lunch, then goes out side and picks up any and all trash that she can find anywhere on the property blown in, then picks dead buds on ALL FLOWERS ON ENTIRE PROPERTY, then picks up al the gum balls that falls off the tree, the waters everything outside, then back into the house to do more work around the house (dusting and more).

On certain days of the week she (cuts grass,weed;ds, clean gutters, wont let me help"i cant do it good enough"), or she removes over 50+ pictures from the wall to wash and dust, and every nick-nack in the house also.

We cant leave the house to do anything except (friday dinner, saturday dinner), but she rushes home. She does not want to ever go on a vacation with me as their is too much behind work at home if she does leave, and she cant handle being that behind.

Im at my wit ends here. over 15yrs, i finally put my foot down and said we are going for at least a weekend getaway, and she finally said fine after lots of auguring, and now that we are about to go on the trip, she is already complaining about coming back early, because im causing her to have to much work to come back to. She also eats barly 800 calories a day, but works out like crazy 5 days a week. (treadmill, weight bench).

Most of the time she is very irritated and takes it out on me when im around her. She does not see that she has any problems and that everyone else in the entire world including me are just VERY LAZY PEOPLE..

is their anyway I can force her to the doctor as her husband, or do anyone have any ideas??

please help, someone out their has gone through this somewhere and won the battle.

My wife is verbally abusive, does not like/want to do anything with me. Shows her a$$ if i try to just accept it and have my own life. Wont get a job, but shows her butt if i turn down any overtime (i work avg 50+ hrs a week). I pay her extra money each week so she can blow it on her family ( not much but its every week); She is always talking down to me, acting like a real Bit@h, and trys to act like her attitude is because of me. I try to take us on vacations and get aways, yet she refuses to leave the house, she just likes to stay at the house and clean and work in the yard (we have a small house 900+Squ-Ft). It could be a OCD issue, but o"well, she doesnt see a problem on her side. Ive helped raise her son from 5 to now he is 22yrs old. We have no children.

I think i want out, but honestly why??? I have to work 50+ hrs a week to support us, if i have to pay Spousal Support, then i will have to get another job also. im 40yrs old and she is 45yrs old. We live in virginia. I do better to commit suicide then leave and have to get another job also especially in this economy.. I feel like suicide most of the time now as their is no way out. Live in a misrible marriage or get out and and just live miserable...

Note: Her mom lives with us and pays nothing either. I was layed off for 7 months last year, and no one would get a job or assist, just trash talked me if i set on the couch at anytime during that time...

any suggestions?? (most of my posts are ignored, please answer this one).

toric lenses (14.2D 8.6B -3.50 -1.50) only difference is last numbers on AXIS..

whats the chance i could go with x170 for both eyes so i can get away with using 1 box of contacts at a time?

worst part is when i wear contacts after the 2nd-3rd day of DAILY-ONLY use, my eyes are covered in tiny bits of dried up crust (or something, from being dry and irritated contact lenses).{I also know this is the main reason I have trouble with contacts, the crust that gets under my lense, but i cant seem to remove it, it takes days usually for it to rinse out on its own} I do use drops but it only helps at the moment, i cant keep poring in eye drops all day. The viens in my eyes look so bad since i started wearing contacts (yes ive seen the doc, and he says they look iritated, i think they look like a horror movie myself); I have this one large dark vien that shoots from behind the skin altho-way around my eye upto the side of the color of my iris, and this is the sore spot with contacts mostly. I showed the doc this and he said when i stop the contacts it should go away so take a break... If i do , the vien dulls down, but does not go away.. **I know , he's a quack**.

But lets get on the fact im looking for a cure for REAL-BAD-DRY eyes... and not the quack of a DOC..

My Doc only uses (pushes) acuvue contacts. we found i CAN NOT wear them, my eyes do not like them. they are all 14.5 . I mention 1-day wear for torics (Focus Dailies), he had to look it up at 1-800-contacts, he didnt believe me that they even made a 1-day toric contact ( i told him their are 3 or 4 out their). Any way those had a 14.2 diameter ( i asked him he said its just the diameter its not a big deal). well they did nt have my exact numbers, so he fudge a few others and now i have them. they fit great and comfortable, but the prescription is not right (more money down the tubes). I found a brand PUREVISION TORIC (great reviews, numbers will work) and even a tiny bit smaller diameter (14.0 even). I think smaller diameter is less eye coverage which i think means more comfortable. My question??? from others experience, if a 14.2 is fine from a a 14.5, then wound not a 14.0 be fine from a (perfect fit 14.2)?

(8.6) & (14.5)

then we tried Focus Dailies toric 1-day (my request as he is only a ACUVUE GUY)

OD -4.00 -1.50 x160 (did not carry 1.25 so he went with 1.50)

OS -4.00 -1.50 x180

(these feel perfect, no issues, except i cant see clearly anymore except far away, unless i were my reading glasses around the house FOR EVERYTHING in the house).

heres the thing. MY DOMINENT RIGHT eye is perfect infront of me upto down the hallway reading book-titles on a shelf (WITH THE READING GLASSES ON 1.25) 12feet away ->but the left eye is a bit fuzzy, not clear (only a little).

But when i was wearing the acuvue and the cyl # was 1.25 i noticed my left eye (with out reading glasses, didnt really need reading glasses then as long as it was more then 1 foot away from my face), it was more clear on my left eye then my right eye,

based on this I would assume that my right & left are different just a little bit/?

would this difference be on the Strength # or CYL#??

My old GLASSES, before i got this new prescription last month was:(before now, have not wore contacts in over 10years)

My Old GLasses are: (3yrs ago)

OD -3.50 -1.25 x 162

OS -3.50 +2.25 x 5

My New GLasses are: (April 2011) : Perfect vision w/ these glasses

OD -3.75 -1.50 x155

OS -3.75 -1.75 x5

**Note: I do admit my new prescription is better then the old prescription(GLASSES), but only by a little bit**

My basic question from all this above.. You recommended :

OD -3.50 -1.25 x 160

OS -3.50 -1.25 x 180

Since we both agree the above prescription by my doc was wrong, but that (-4.00-1.25) on both eyes made i did see better out of the left eye (still not good, but left eye was better).

And since this other prescription of (-4.00-1.50) on both eyes my right eye was more clear (again both eyes are not correct, but right eye was more clear). Based on that information, would you recommend a different cyl number? or do you think the (-3.50-1.25) both eyes will be so close to perfection, that they will adapt correctly on their own?? I hope you understand the question. I tried to give every bit of information i could, i actually think Ive given my entire optical medical report by now .. HEHEH

Again, im sorry to bother you, but you seem to have so much great information, and seem like you like to help others based on your number of replys on yahoo.. I live in the USA, to far to make you my doc *smile*.

I tried acuvue oasis & advance (both toris). 8.6 (12.5) , their hurt my eyes after 3-4hrs my eyes would be bloodshot, and in pain, i tried for multiple days, both brands with a 1-week break in between the trials. I talked him into the 1-day focus dailies toric brand 8.6(12.2). no issues on comfort, dont even notice then once worn for a hour (upto a hour they are a bit annoying). no bloodshot eyes at all.

So based on this knowledge, unfortunately i CAN NOT afford to go with 1-days as they cost 50+ dollars a month. NONONONO, I need to get the normal (wear them for 2-4weeks and toss them brands).

1, what do you think is the issue with the above contacts why the BEST didnt work, and a OFF-name brand works perfect.

2. What name brand should I try next that i can afford??

need help to ask my dumb eye-doctor (im not going to pay 200 bucks again for another contact prescription either, so please just help), thank you in advance.

*Contacts bothered my eyes so had to get a different name-brand which changed the available prescription.

OD = -4.00 -1.50 x160 (see at distance fine almost HD, looking around a ROOM unclear)

OS = -4.00 -1.50 x 180 (see at distance fine , looking around a Room unclear, but better then right eye).

If I put on a +1.25 reading glasses over these contacts, VISION is perfect close and far.. It gives me the close range to see computer screen & laptop, and read the names of the books on a shelf 20 feet away. Walking outside I can see 30+ feet perfect, pass that i see clear, but not perfect detail (which is 100% fine, i want this vision). Only thing is the RIGHT eye is more perfect then the left eye.

So can anyone look at all this and put together a prescription to give my doc for a test drive !!!

I SEE BOTH RIGHT & LEFT ARE BEING TREATED AS THE SAME PRESCRIPTION WHEN LOOKING AT THE GLASSES PRESC. IT IS NOT. OR IS IT THE ASTIG #S R WRONG YOU THINK.

I have the virgin mobile 25$ plan and optimus. I want a MUCH better android and prefer 4.3" screen. I live in Va in a big city, and we have basically everyone for celluar. Ive searched some, but wanted yalls take on it. WHats the best best and plan out their. Everyone i know is verizon and i have a verizon work phone that i talk to them all with. so Minutes can be on the super low side, as i ACTUALLY use outside of verizon2verizon minutes about 100 minutes a month(and as any business use plan, keep the minutes low and everyones happy, so basically i have a actual talking phone already ). so ANY cheap package with minutes will do, actually i dont even really need phone minutes. Just want a big screen with internet for as cheap as i can get..

Now i got yall where I want yall. Before you answer this question like the other 125 thousand other people that have asked this same question ,,understand this>>> I am asking " Can you safely wear 1-Day Contact Lenses more then 1-day, why & why not?????"

It seems on all other posts everyone that says YES you can, seem to explain their own experience with it, Yet EVERY-ONE that just blurts out NO-YOU Cant; never explains WHY??? only pointing out "They are 1-day".. So if you have a opinion then explain it, if you are going to say NO, then INFORM me as to WHY?? Or don't bother..

Ive read that 1-day and monthly contacts are scams, I dont think its really a scam, and I do believe the 1-days are thinner, and maybe more fragile.. But that still doesn't mean maybe 2 or 3 days max can be used to save a few bucks... And also dont blurt out "Eyes are priceless !!! trust me my eyes can get bloodshot from clean 2 week wear contacts just as easy also...

So whats your opinion???

Everytime I take my dog to the vet to get his checkup/shots/work-up stuff which is usually 3times a year. When he comes home he acts like one of his back legs is hurt. He holds it up and hops around like its broken or something. This is a on/off issue for the next 2 weeks, then it eventually goes back to normal NOT having any issues until he goes back again. I have talk to the vet on this, and he says my dog has a KNEE/JOINT issue that needs surgery, i told him he only has this problem everytime i bring him to you ONLY. We got into a bit of a agitated discussion about it.

What does the DOG community have to say about it??? -> I hate to change vets as my Pom is 6 years old, and I have been using the same vet since he was 6 weeks old.

The vet wants me to have a expensive surgery done, yet my dog doesnt have any issues except for 1-2 weeks after returning from the vet for his routine checkups and stuff.

2 months ago i went to lense crafters for a eye exam for a new pair of glasses. the new glasses are not better then my old prescription, but the doctor said everyone says that, its fine. I did get used to them over the last 2 months, but always had this cross-eyed feeling eitherway. but i could see (im in my 40's).

I decided to get contacts as i hate glasses working outside at work and sweat makes them fall off, ect..ectc...

i went back to lense crafters yesterday and just walked in (no wait), and asked for contact lense prescription, they chraged me another 95.00dollars, and took me to the back room, where the ONLY thing happened was the doctor opening up a contact pak and putting a contact in in each eye (he checked nothing).

I told him its blurry , he siad i have to get used to it, i asked to have my eyes rechecked, he said that wold cost more money and wasnt needed as i just had a exam 2 months ago with him(for glasses only).

that was yesterday, my eyes hurt and vision was not right. this morning i tried switching the contacts just in case he made a mistake, and guess what.... the vision is better, and the uncomfortable feeling in my right eye is gone.

so it seems he charged me 100bucks to put contacts in the wrong eyes. but the other issue is still nothing is as crisp as my glasses, not even bright red numbers on my clock, which i used to be able to see from the living room looking down the hallway into the bedroom , now its never clear enough to read unless im in front of it.

i spent to much money to be brushed off, and with glasses, i get perfect 20/20 visoin..

what should i do, go down their and kick his butt? as he really just seemed more interested in rushing me out the door for other customers then to deal with my concerns, and yes i could go somewhere else, but i basically paid him a lot of money to just walk away.

**Note: im about to puke right now trying to see the screen to try this letter, i feel like i do when im trying to read when the wifes driveing (motion sickness feeling) {its a common thing for somepeople}

Although i live 45 minutes away (and basically always have), i remember as a kid so much their and so much to do (and so much walking).. I recently went after about 10-12 years now, and not sure if I changed or the park has changed?? My wife and me got their at 10am on the weekend.

heres the itenary for the day:

1. bought tickets

2. went to and rode Alpengiest (once)

3. went to and rode Dark Castle (once)

4. went to and rode Lock Ness (once)

5 went to and rode Charotte Fire (Once)

6. went to lunch (big line as the rides)

7 went to a few shops to buy junk(over$$)

8 went to the "europe Air" simulator (once)

9. left the park..

We was their from 10am-5pm, and the above is all we did. the lines were stupid, and prices made the movies look good.

was this really worth $65.00 a person plus $40.00 junk, and $45.00 in drink & food??

And only able to ride everything once in 7 hrs seem like a waste of day also...

BTW: this is all we could find to do their, where were all the smaller relaxing cooler adult rides at? And the other fun stuff i thought i rememeber being their from a kid??? now its just 4-5 big rides and lots of food and shops now.

***OOOOhhhh, and who else thinks the idea they have about NO-LIDS for ANY drink cups is just a ploy so you feel the need to toss your drinks away every time you do something requiring you to leave it somewhere, since you cant keep it covered and safe from flying koodies??? More money stragedies.!!
