  • Getting women to stay interested in me?

As the title says, I ve never found a woman who was interested in me for more than a short time.

I'm quite shy and reserved and tbh I don't have a lot to talk about which doesn't help when it comes to conversations?

Need some advice here, I'm starting to think there is no point even trying to get to know a girl, I seem to have nothing to talk about to even start conversations...

  • Never able to have a woman maintain interest in me?

As the title says, I ve never found a woman who was interested in me. Either that or I am so naïve that I didn t notice, which is a strong possibility.

Starting to think there is no point even trying to get to know a girl, I ve tried a lot of times and in the end they just stop talking to me.

  • GPS on iPad mini using wifi hotspot?

    Hi

So since the release of pokemon go, I'm kind of wanting to play it on my iPad, however unfortunately it is a wifi only ipad mini model A1432.

I was wondering if it possible to substitute the GPS positioning required for the app, by utilising my Lumia 532 (GPS capable) as a personal wifi hotspot/internet sharing via wifi.

Anyone have any idea if this would work? It should in theory, since the Ipad mini location services uses wifi and Bluetooth to give an estimate of the position?

    Thanks

  • Can't find an opportunity to talk to this young woman at all?

    Hi

Met this nice young woman who s doing two of the same subjects as me at university, bit of info, I m 24 she d be probably be roughly 21 if I had to guess?

Had a bit of a chat to her after class about two weeks or so ago, just a quick chat about degrees and subjects etc, but I d like to talk to her again if possible.

Problem is I don t know her name yet :/ and for the last two weeks I haven t seen her in any lectures or anything, so I can t find an opportunity to talk to her.

What do I do, there s only a few weeks left in session and after this I m more or less done with my degree?

    Thanks

  • What to say on a coffee date, and plan another one?

    Hi

Kind of nervous about my first coffee date with a girl coming up, nervous because It's my first ever coffee date, and because I tend to run out of things to say in conversations.

Kind of need any tips on what I can use to start and keep the conversation flowing?

Also, saying everything goes well, what should I do about another date? Another coffee date? A couple of drinks at a bar?

    Thanks!

  • Estimating Limit of Detection of analytical instruments?

As the title says, how could you ESTIMATE the limit of detection of HPLC and UV-Vis instruments, ONLY by looking at the signals of the lowest standard used and the blanks? (ie, only ONE standard and ONE blank can be used)

    Thanks

P.S. Sorry about the caps lock, just want to make it clear that the question I need to answer asks for an estimate using the above method.

  • Should I stop putting Australian Lotto on?

As the title says, is it a good idea?

It s $25 a fortnight that I can t really afford, but the problem is I know my numbers off by heart, so if they did come up and I hadn t put it on, jumping off a cliff would look pleasing...

What are your opinions on this? Thanks

P.S. I ve reduced it down to the absolute minimum number of games, so I can t save anymore money there.

  • Determining the limits of detection of an ion chromatography instrument?

As the title says, I need to verify that the limit of detection for a particular compound is 0.2ppm or greater.

How do I write a method for doing this? Would you run blank samples and compare against standards at 0.2ppm?

    Thanks

  • Engine Oil question?

    Hi

My car manual states to use 15W40 oil, but I was given about 4L of 15W50 oil, so I'm wondering if I can use the 15W50 oil with no problems. I live in Australia by the way, so the temperature is usually on the warmer side most of the time.

    Thanks

  • Hydrostatic Force question?

The two sides of a v-shaped water trough are hinged to each other at the bottom where they meet making an angle of 45 degrees with the ground from both sides .Each side is 0.75 m wide and the two parts are held together by a cable and turnbuckle placed every 6 m along the length of the trough. Calculate the tension in each cable when the trough is filled to the rim.

I'm using F=pghA, but I keep getting an answer that is nowhere close to the given answer of 5510 N

  • Is the enthalpy for this reaction positive?

This is the reaction, I m trying to find the standard enthalpy at 298K

    ZnO(s)+C(graphite)=Zn(s)+CO(g)

    Enthalpy of formation ZnO= -350 kJ/mol,

    CO=-110 kJ/mol, and O2 and Zn =0 kJ/mol

For this reaction I calculated an enthalpy of approximately +250kJ/mol, is this correct using the data provided?

    Thanks

  • Urgent girl help needed!!?

Ok, so there s this girl that I started Facebooking a few months ago, knew her from high school, only just bumped into her, etc.

Anyway asked her if she d like to catch up for a coffee, she said yes, then slowly stopped replying to my messages(Only sent one once a week roughly), most of them have been asking when she's free to set up a time for the coffee and how she's been, etc. That said, I m unexperienced with the art of flirting, so I don t think that helped at all...

What can I do to reignite the conversation with this girl? Also would sending her a small bouquet of flowers for Valentine's day be a good idea, or just a waste of money?
