I had my monthly doc appointment today and was told that next week (my 24rd week) I need to do the glucose test. I was told not to eat anything the day I go starting at midnight! I don't know if i could do that I get so hungry so fast! Any tips? How bad is this test; what was the test like for the mommies out there!?

Its the most weird feeling ever! Is this normal? Have any other mommies felt this? She's done this a few times these past 2 weeks.. Could it be her kicking a nerve around that area because it feels she's going to come out when she does this. It's very quick too no longer than a second! Thanks!

She's not even my mother in law because I'm not married to her son. I just don't want my child involved with her or their family. They all have some problem and don't want my child to feed off of them and think it's ok to be the way they are as she grows up/ It's really stressing me out because I know that it is going to be her family and I don't mind having her see them once in a while but I kind of what to be away from them for the most part. My B's mom is always having money problems and asks for money all the time. When my bf tell's her he doesn't have extra money to give her she always says "wow thanks, I'll see what I do" or "you liar you get paid a lot of money" its so annoying, Then his sister is an alcoholic who has no job living with her mother and doesn't even have a HS diploma, She also has an almost 30 year old son who doesn't even pay rent and lives in her rented condo there for free. She always has excuses for why their like that like "they are going through a lot" "their just depressed" I wasn't raised to be that way and it's really bothering me. What should I do? I don't want my daughter to think its ok to follow this family's bad chain. Any advise?

I really don't like my mil at all. I hate when she tells me to not buy baby clothes because I should wait until someone gives me hand me downs. Seriously? I'm not going to wait until people give me used things I would like to have new things for my child as well not just hand me downs.. She told me not to lay on my left side because my lungs will squish my heart. Told her its actually recommended by my doc to lay on my left and she just made it seem like my doctor was stupid because she said that Dr. Oz said not to. She is such an air head it gets me so mad! She's always asking for money every month to pay off one of her many loans. We can't save any money because she always needs to borrow money. We have bills too! My point is I can't stand her! I really don't want her in the labor room because I want to feel comfortable not annoyed. I told my husband I only want my mother and him in the room and he says his mom WILL be in there too! I'm so upset! If i don't want her in there can the nurses tell her to leave even if my husband says he wants her there? She has 2 other grandchildren from her other sons and she rather spend time with her bf than her grand kids. That upsets me too and is another reason why I really don't like her! Any advice?? Am I being mean? Can the nurses not let her in even if my husband wants her there??

my right brest is leaking a lot this morning my shirt was wet around that breast is this normal? my left is not leaking at all i do have a cyst on that breast im wondering if it could be because of that. Should i be concerned? i just had a doc appointment yesterday and my breast started leaking last night i don't see her until 4 weeks from now

i feel so bloated and cant do anything when i try to walk around i just feel out of breath I am short; 5'0 could that be why? when I stand up I feel like my baby is kind of low so it hurts a little. Lying down isn't fun either i need my body pillow at all times! And to think that she's only going to get bigger and it's only going to get more uncomfortable adds fatigue! any tips or advise? Anyone else felt like this?

I recently found out I have HPV I'm not sure which type I have. I was wondering, what labor was like for any woman who has had hpv. Do the nurses make a big deal about it? Do you get your baby right away or do they clean the baby before you even get to see your baby?

I'm 16 w 3d found out 2 days ago we're having a baby girl. I'm so happy but I'm starting to worry because I really don't want to hurt her, give her a rash, or any infection. Any advise on how you clean your baby girl? Boys are so much easier to clean and I don't have experience changing a little girls diaper.

has anyone had a gut feeling all along and being right/wrong? Almost everyone I know thinks it's a girl and I have always had a feeling it was a girl for some reason. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and I'm 18. I'm a college student and yes, I know I'm young but it's all set and done now. I have just gotten over missing my mom and started building a relationship with her I still haven't told my dad who lives far away because I just haven't felt ready to. I haven't really told anyone because I just don't want to talk about it. Don't get me wrong; its been behind my mind 24/7 and it's really stressed me out because I didn't want to hurt my dad. My mom called me this morning and told me that she told my dad -which was a relief- but told me that he cried and thought it was his fault. I feel like the I was started to feel better about my pregnancy before she told him and now I feel like I'm back at square one stressed and need to get my dad through the initial shock. I know stressing out is effecting my baby and that I shouldn't stress but it's easier said than done. It's effecting the relationship I have with my baby because I don't have an emotional attachment for it yet. I feel horrible because I want to love my baby and I fear I'll never love my baby. Any advise? I've have reached a breaking point and really don't know what to do.

I'm only 14 weeks but its starting to show. My boyfriends family is always trying to see my belly or touch it. It REALLy gets me so angry, I have no idea why but I just find it annoying. I don't feel pregnant I feel like I'm just gaining weight and I just don't like to be stared at. Any advise? Am I the only one with this problem? My doctor said my baby's heart rate is 152 bpm. Has anyone gotten correct results with the old wives tale.less than 140 boy and 140 or higher girl.

I'm 14w 2d today and I had my second appointment today. I asked my doctor when will she be able to see the gender and she said she doesn't check for gender until I'm 20 weeks. I don't think I could wait that long! Should I get my 3d/4d ultrasound? Should I go at 16 weeks?

I received a call from my ob's office today and I was informed that my pap smear results came out to be abnormal. I'm freaking out because they said they want to test for HPV. The nurse told me that it could either be that or abnormal discharge which I have had abnormal discharge since my pregnancy began. I'm still really scared its HPV. I've been tested before for STDS and showed negative for all of them. but i didn't get a pap smear when I was tested for STDS my fiancee has been checked before also and had negative results as well. Should I be concerned? Has anyone been through this? Any advise?
