  • Blood came out of chicken legs ?

Is it okay that blood came out of the chicken legs I was cooking in a soup? Is it still edible to eat?

I was boiling the legs in a soup and the chicken was cooking correctly but then blood was coming out near the bone.

  • Paying full balance on credit card?

I’m finally in a good financial spot and want to get rid of some credit card debt. Would paying off the full total balance of my credit card be a good idea?

Ex. I owe $600 for my Ulta credit card and my monthly payments are $35. Would it hurt my credit to pay the full $600 I owe in the following month?

  • Pay Off Credit Card in full?

I am in a financially good spot to pay off two of my credit cards in full. Is it a smart idea to pay them off all at once or should I continue to just pay above the minimum payment?

  • Medical Insurance change but keep the same doctor?

    Hi,

I recently got promoted at my job and now I have my own medical insurance. I’m officially off my parent’s insurance but I want to keep the same doctor and provider. They are in network with my new insurance. Do I need to be set up as a new patient or can I just have them switch my insurance to my new one?

  • Coronavirus in Seattle. Safe to Travel?

  • Should I travel to Seattle? Coronavirus Scare?

    Hi

I booked a flight and hotel in Seattle in January before the Coronavirus was in the US and now Seattle has one of the worst cases in the US. I attempted to cancel or change my flight and hotel but there is nothing that can be done so I’m out $300 dollars. My trip is based all in downtown Seattle and I am having a hard time deciding whether I should go or just not go in order to avoid getting sick? I don’t know if I am just freaking myself out or if I should be precautious and not go.

  • “Ticketing in Progress” Expedia?

    Hi!

I recently booked a hotel and flight combo thru Expedia and received my travel confirmation email. My hotel says booked but my two flights say “ticketing in progress” and it says it usually take 5 minutes to confirm tickets or 24 hours. It’s been a few weeks and my trip is coming up soon! I checked on the airline website using my confirmation code for the flights and it just tells me it’s too early to check in. I also haven’t gotten any seat info. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else before??? Help if it has and what did you do?

  • Knee Scooter Question?

    Hi

Very weird probably easy question that I have. My mother has a fracture on her foot and her doctor placed an order for her to get a knee scooter since she can’t support herself using crutches. My question is where do I get the knee scooter and how do I use the order to get it covered by her insurance? Do I need to go to her pharmacy and ask?

This is probably a really dumb question to ask but we’ve never dealt with this before and I didn’t think to ask the staff before we left

  • How do I get blood stain out of my car seat?

One of my friends got their period on a car ride about a week ago and I just now saw the stain it left on my car seat. What can I use to get it off since its been there for a week? It's a pretty big and noticeable stain. My car has cloth upholstery.

  • Sold my car and buyer is asking for a copy of insurance?

I sold my car last month and the buyer is sending me messages asking for a copy of my insurance. She says she needs it because her insurance company is asking for it so they know when it was covered.

My father thinks this is suspicious because they normally don't ask for this. The car had insurance and I already let them know I sold it so they took it off.

Is this something I should provide or are they trying to scam me?

  • Want to lose weight. Meal Plan questions?

I want to get serious about losing weight. I weigh about 175-180 pounds. I'm 5'4, 21 years old, and female. I think the place to start would be with how I eat so I want to start making meal plans for myself but I don't really know where to start. For example, portions, what's healthy vs what isn't healthy, etc. So is there a website I can go to that helps me coming up with meal plans?

  • FAFSA help?

I'm trying to fill out my FAFSA but I'm confused about the grade level question. I'm trying to get my transfer degree and this will be my fourth year trying to finish getting all my credits. So do I put down 4th year/senior? It says I shouldn't base it on number of years you have attended college. I've been going full time and I have at least over 60 credits completed.

My aunt asked me to write a letter on behalf of my uncle who is currently in custody. I have to include in the letter why he should be able to stay in the United States.
