Some answerer's here have stated that the word "Reverend" is "not biblical" and "against God". Why is that?

I am exploring different churches, trying to find one I like. I don't want to be embarrassed by using the wrong term when speaking to the (insert title here). Any help is appreciated.

I had a random dog in my yard the other night. It had a collar, but I still wasn't going to go out and try to make friends with it. You never know right. Anyways, I called to report a stray dog right away. I almost decided not to, but then I was thinking that if it was my dog, I'd want anyone who saw it to call.

I slammed my finger a few weeks ago and it looks like I'll lose my fingernail completely. Is thier anything I can do to help the nail grow back faster? Should I keep it covered constantly or leave it to the air?

Most churches I have been to will "bow in prayer", but why? I've been to some churches (can't remember the denomination) where most people looked up to the sky while praying. Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

According to Gallup, 7% of Americans consider themselves Atheists. Apparently the CIA says 10% (I can't confirm this however). So why such a difference? What do you think?

If this latest injury is serious enough, and the Sox end up winning this World Series, do you think Wakefield will retire? He has had an amazing career in Boston and he is getting older. Don't get me wrong, he's one of my favorite players, but for a guy who throws 60 miles an hour, he has a lot of back and shoulder problems.

Thier are many town and state laws that require you to get your cats spayed or neutered. I believe you have to get permission in order to further a cat breed in these places. Why can't these laws be applied to dogs as well?

I bought some old Coca-Cola bottles at a yard sale. The only thing I could find out about them was that they are from the late 40's and 50's. I only paid a couple bucks total for 9 bottles and an old cardboard carrying case. Are thier any websites that can let me know if they are worth anything? Besides Ebay?

My lab puppy is 4 months old and he lost a tooth in the front. It looks fine, I'm just wondering if this is about the right age for it to happen. Also, how fast will the new tooth come in, and how will it be different from the puppy tooth?
