Hi. I'm interested in learning judo, but first I have a few questions:

is it too late to learn judo in mid 20s?

Does judo training session involve a lot of weight training/muscle building?

I'm overweight and lacking flexibility, I can't do forward/back roll during school PE, felt like I'm about to break my neck. Can I still learn judo?

Like I said I'm obese, should I lose weight first, gain shape before I start learning judo?

I read that protein from plants is not as complete as animal protein.

My cousin is pregnant but she only eats veggies and sometimes fish.

She's very thin and hasn't gained much weight.

She's a 3 months old golden retriever puppy. I bought plenty of toys for her to chew, but sometimes she just want to bite people's feet, arm, finger. I tried to distract her from biting by putting toys in her mouth, it works for a few days, but she started to ignore the toys. Also I tried to walk away to left her alone after the bite, but she just chase and bite me until I'm out of the room, when I came back she start biting me again.

When she bites I firmly says "no!" but she just ignore that.

Sometimes It gets to my nerve, I pull her collar (lightly) and grab her neck/upper head in such position that she can't reach my hand with her mouth. It think that only makes her angry, and start biting afterward.

So what should I do?

From what I read on wikipedia, they contain a lot of omega 6 fats, which is already abundant in modern diet and may increase inflammation and risk of getting cardiovascular disease.

But I also read that they have hypotensive effect and proven to lower bad LDL cholesterol.

Isn't that contradictory?

My country's economy reach 6.3% percent for the year 2012, which is 2nd highest after China. It is heavily supported by huge FDI inflow and big domestic consumption. Our export has been dwindling as result of low coal and CPO price.

My question is, What benefit does FDI bring to an economy?

Also, do you think my country's growth is sustainable or is it fragile? as in my opinion it depends so much on foreign investors' opinion?

If you take someone from the 70s and put him in the 80s, he would look really strange / out of place.

But a time traveller with typical fashion of the early 00s would fit just fine in 2013? Why?

Because the way the interface is designed, it is displayed like a very small laptop screen, and it is uncomfortable to zoom in when browsing the net/safari.

Blackberry has even smaller screen, but web sites are displayed in columns, with fairly large enough character to read.

It is apple's design flaw to not utilize larger screens (like on some android phones), or arranging the websites on safari in easier to read format. If this continue I'll need to stop using iphone for browsing (which is one of my main reason to buy them in the first place), or I'll need new lens for my eyewear very soon.

I mean something like French = soft and smooth

British English = gentle and polite

German = firm and mechanized

Mandarin = rude (?), like vendors yelling at you in the fish market

Japanese = soft spoken and carefully worded

What is in you mind when you hear someone speaks bahasa Indonesia, assuming you don't know the meaning?

I'm looking for healthier substitute to white rice. In my country it's really hard to find brown rice. Only red rice (wild rice) is widely available. Is there any nutritional difference? Which one is better for weight management?

This may have been asked numerous times. I'm currently using a 2005 HP PC, with 17" monitor, keys and mouse. It's really old and slow. So it's time for new computer. I'm interested on 21.5" iMac (basic spec). It's kinda expensive for me at $1300. Then the salesperson recommend the Mac Mini. Major advantage is I can use my old monitor, keys and mouse. And the price is cheaper at $700ish. I'm also planning to move to another city nxt year, I presume it's easier to carry along the Mac Mini?

The 21.5" iMac, is much more aesthetically pleasing, less clutter than separate monitor and CPU. And obviously the interface (monitor, keys, mouse) is modern and much better.

I'm an amateur musician, so I will mainly use it for recording (garageband), listening to music, and some browsing.

So, which one would you pick if you're in my situation?

There are some stocks in the market that are already bullish for quite some time, it can last for days, weeks, even months. I'll just buy that stocks and only sell them if there are strange movement that may signal a reversal/plateau. There is less risk than by looking at indicators for signs of reversals on bearish stocks, it may be a fake signal/failed reversal. So what do you think?
