  • Is 2 hours a day too long for travel time to school?

This could be slightly less or a lot more depending on the public transport's efficiency. If you're in the british system, this is for year 13 (A2). It's two hours there and back x

  • England Driving Age?

I'm moving to London this summer and I've heard a few things so I'm not entirely sure how this works. From what I've gathered - at the age of 17 you can obtain a full license. I turn in two weeks, so when I move can I immediately begin training and then obtain my license?

  • Is there a formal name for this type of dress?

I've attached pictures, but the dresses which have different coloured panels on the side to give the illusion of a slimmer hourglass figure. From what I've seen, they're referred to as illusion dresses however when I search that all that comes up if the infamous black and blue dress!

I love the black and gold one Zoella wore, but unfortunately it's out of stock. Would anyone also be aware of a brand that currently stocks something similar? Price is not an issue.

  • I Have A Spot That Won't Go Away?

I have clear skin, however there is a spot on my left cheek which just doesn't leave. I'm not used to acne or pimples so I'm not quite sure how to deal with it. I accidentally scratched it and it left a hole in it's place - and another one popped up besides that. It's quite big and red and noticeable, what can i do?

  • Social Careers?

I don't want to be a social worker as such, but I enjoy socialising. I feel like a Buzzfeed or Google type environment would suit me. I've been raised around people of all different cultures and backgrounds and would like to continue that diversity at work. What jobs involve a lot of social interaction?

  • How to Create Carbon Monoxide Gas?

Before you even suggest it - I am not suicidal, and this is also not an underhand way of disguising a suicidal frame of mind to achieve information. I am researching mental health for EPQ (a research project you can do in the British school system). If you feel uncomfortable posting this publicly please let me know and you can send it to me privately.

I understand the chemical methods - through zinc metal and calcium carbonate or formic acid and concentrated sulfuric acid, but what about 'home' methods such incomplete combustion and charcoal?

  • Why Am I Not Losing Weight?

I have a BMR of 1557.9, and as I typically am sedentary calculates to about 1870 calories a day. Since I've started eating healthy - my caloric intake is way below this! I'd assume about 1200 calories! Admittedly my exercise regime is lacking, but I would have thought that I'd be losing a pound a week or so with this deficit.

  • I Can No Longer Tolerate Carbs?

I've been eating low carb since summer, and recently I did the Buzzfeed Clean Eating Challenge. I've found that when I now eat carbs, i get extremely tired and have to sleep and feel sluggish for the rest of the day. I'm not complaining if its cutting calories, but is this okay?

  • Songs Keep Disappearing From iTunes Library?

I know this is a fairly common issue, but I'm yet to find a solution. I have over 5000 songs, of which maybe just about 1000 are purchased. I notice this occasionally, but its such a hassle as I obviously can't remember which songs are missing and I am really sentimental about my music.

  • Can You Please Explain 'Majors' and 'Minors' at University?

I'd like to do a Business degree, but also do either Media or Marketing with it. Would this mean I 'major' in Business and 'minor' in Media/Marketing? Does this vary between universities in the UK and US?

  • Rotating Hand When Playing the Piano?

I'm playing 'Rondo' for my grade 6 ABRSM exam, however I'm having a little difficulty with the quick repititions in the left hand. My teacher keeps telling me to rotate my hand, but I don't quite understand what she means and she isn't able to explain it in any other way. How do I do this?

  • Do genetically skinny people have the right to insult others for their weight?

A girl I know was going on about how she didn't have any sympathy for fat people because they 'brought it upon themselves' and should 'shove a bit less in their mouths and run a bit more'.

If body types had no genetic influence, this girl would be morbidly obese. She lives off junk. In school, she eats chocolate bars at both breaks, pizza or pasta for lunch and various junk snacks throughout the day. She does not exercise at all. But she is genes are on her side, so she's very, very skinny.

I was personally disgusted by her comments, considering that she's hardly the picture of health herself, and found that she had no right to generalise and insult people who are overweight. Opinions?

  • Business Degree Which Incorporates Marketing?

I'd like to do a Business degree at university, which incorporates marketing, or psychology. Eventually, my dream is to get into the music business, however I feel having a business degree gives me something to fall back on. I'm looking for the top universities, in the UK and USA.

  • Skincare Products for Glowing Skin?

I'm fortunate to not have to deal with any major skin issues (besides blackheads), however my skin looks lifeless. I was keen to try Devonne by Demi Lovato, however it does not ship to the UK. Any suggestions for a brand which can achieve this? I have combination skin, and large pores with a slightly uneven skin tone.
