Will Obama be remembered in two lights?
One dark, one light. What I mean by that is:
The people who support what he has done, and voted for him, and think that he has done a good job will remember him as a good president.
While the people who don't support him, and don't like what he has done will think that he did a horrible job.
And neither of groups will be able to admit that they are wrong, when the time comes and we find out what he presidency has overall been (in the future when we see how his policy's have affected us).
That's what I think will happen, but I want to know what you think will happen?
9 AnswersElections8 years agoWhy do people blame Obama for everything?
When in reality congress has all the power to make the changes that would benefit the country, they just don't want to cooperate with Obama. He has tried to get things done that would help the country recover, but the republicans (and yes, it is them) in congress, the house, and the senate are willing to do anything in order for Obama's policy's to not be instilled. Even shutting down the government.

17 AnswersRock and Pop8 years agoWhy do people think that Reagan's low Tax's policys worked?
Under Reagan the economy went downhill. The Federal Government's debt tripled and went to 3 trillion dollars. The percentage of jobless went to 10.7%, and to make up for the loss of money Reagan went back and raised taxes again (if you didn't know that he did. It was because he raised "hidden taxes" instead of income taxes which he lowered). So why do people think that his idea of low taxes worked? And why do people think that the idea of low taxes will stimulation the economy will work it general? Because it hasn't worked in the past.

If you read the whole thing (or more the parts that really matter) you would have seen that the former Iranian President, said that Reagan had worked up a plane with Ayatollah Khomeini to prevent Jimmy Carter from being able to free the hostages

2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoWhy does no one tlak about this when they talk about Obama's statistics?
Ok so for those of you who think that this is going to be something against Obama, it isn't. I support him 100% of the way on most things (I am however against abortion, and disagree about a few things). That being said I bring this into the equation. There is no lying that Obama has had poor statistics as president in the last 5 years (4 depending on how your counting), no matter who supply's them they all look pretty bad. And so people get to thinking "well this guy has done a horrible job". But I was watching a replay of some presidential campaign "quotes" of you want to call them that from Obama's party about the subject. And what I found is very interesting. So you probably know that Romney did not have the best statistics in Massachusetts as governor (deny it if you will, but realistically he didn't), but to be fare he did not start with the best of circumstances. And that is what the people in Romney's campaign party said, that you have to look at after the first year, and look at THOSE statistics. Which is a fare point because you would have to wait a little while for the president (or governor in this case) get his ideas and his ideas flowing into the system. And so if you take away that first year of Romney's, his stats are pretty good. But that is the same for Obama, in fact if you take the first 6 months of his 1st presidency his stats look good. As well they look excellent after his first year. And so I was wondering, why does no one talk about this?
6 AnswersElections8 years agoWhat player from all time would you want most on your team?
Now everybody jumps to say Jordan, but I would chose either Bill Russel, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabber, or Magic Johnson.
9 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhy has the quality of music gone down so much?
In all most all regards too. Now on the radio it's all basically the same, poor lyrics, overused beats that I presume are the reason people like the music, some new singer that sounds the same as the last, and a very low variety of lyrics (e.g it seems like one big chores). I mean seriously, rock isn't nearly what it used to be, rap has gone down ALOT, and now one of the newest genre is like some form of techno (which I've been told is called Dubstep) and that takes almost no talent to do. It seems like all the popular songs are the same, the same basic lyrics, the same basic style of singing, the same beats, the same voice singing (singers now a days have almost no individuality). I was just wondering because I can't figure it out, and yes I know that there still are plenty of good underground artists but the real question is "why aren't they the popular singers?".
7 AnswersOther - Music8 years agoWho is the best QB ever?
So recently I have seen a lot of debating weather it is Montana or Brady (even though in that discussion anyone in their right mind would pick Montana), but its very hard to say so easily that those two are the 'best" of all time. So to be more specific I would say who's the best common era QB (like post 50's). As well don't say anything stupid like "Brady coz he's da best" or something like that, and please say why. And just for the record I will go to my grave saying that Montana is the best of all time (for now no one knows what the future can bring)
22 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat is Bengals chance to get into the Superbowl?
Now I'm a 49ers fan (no not a bandwagon before anyone says so) and in my opinion the AFC is one big toss up for the bid for the SB (the NFC is somewhat as well, but not quite as much). I was thinking about who could "sneak" in from the AFC and the Bengals came to mind, so what do you guys think?
4 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat is the name of this e-40 song?
So I know for a fact that it's an e-40 song and some of the lyrics go (or sound like)
"I'm on this oil and I'm turnked (possibly turfed) up man!"
(I cant understand the very next line so here is the 3rd one) "Money under the mattress money drug abuse loot, dirty finger nails mail, booger sugar coop (I don't know if he says coop or something else)
"On the H and R block on my soil, H and R mean hubbar rock pots boil"
"Run up and get popped like a boil, fried like a fish, plucked like a turkey"
That's all I know, if you can identify it, that would be helpful, thanks
1 AnswerRap and Hip-Hop8 years agoWhy do some people interpret the bible like this?
I was watching a documentary on the westboro baptist church and saw how they chose to interpret the bible. Because the bible that I read talks about "loving they neighbor" and "forgiving those" and love and peace (I am quoting the new testament, not really quoting but just saying what it basically says in many parts ) I was just wondering why they would read it in "that" way if anyone could answer this because I am dumbfounded.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy are a lot of republicans still mad about the election?
So I am mainly democratic (I have voted republican on some occasions but for the presidential elections I've always voted democrat), but like to see when each party has a strong candidate (as it did this year in my opinion). As well i like to see when someone from the other party wins the people of the losing part get over and try to help make the country better. But that does not seem to be happening. It seems that the republicans are still trying to come up with ways that Obama is horrible and are not trying to actual help the country. Even the ones in congress, from what I've heard/seen/read I can't actually go into congress, seem to be deliberately trying to not cooperate with Obama. I would just like to know why is that? Why are they not "getting over it" and trying to help make this country better?
As a side note Obama is trying to help this country get better, so don't even try with that "why should they when Obama isn't trying too" or "why should they help someone whose trying to destroy this country" bullshit
14 AnswersElections8 years agoWhy do people like Reagan?
I'm not going to support my view of him (which is very negative) I'm just asking why do some people still like him after all the bullshit he pulled, especially with Iran and the Contra's (I don't know if I spelled that right or not)
3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government8 years agoWhy does it matter if Obama is Muslim?
I say this because if he that doesn't mean anything. Does it mean that he will try to destroy this country? No that is complete and utter nonsense, all that it means is that he believes in what the Koran says like Christians to the Bible and Jews to the Torah. As well it does not mean (if he is) that he has to hate everyone that isn't Muslim. In fact in the Koran it talks about having compassion for Christians and Jews alike because they all worship the god of Abraham. But I ask this question because I've heard a lot of resent debate about it (from what I've heard form good sources hes christian) and I as just wondering why does it matter?
8 AnswersGovernment8 years agoWhich is harder (all around) baseball, soccer, or football.?
I have an on going argument with one of my friends about it and just wanted to see what the majority thinks. Now be warned if you have only played one of the sports you don't know how hard the other can be i, who played football and baseball think that they are harder. But I realize that I really don't know about soccer but from how hard the sports are I say that they are harder.
And please don't say that
Football is just a bunch of fat guys running into each other
Soccer is stupid because they fake injury's
Baseball is not because they are all fat guys hitting a ball with a stick
Or anything in that sort of fashion,
P.S I already asked this in the soccer section and I just wanted to see what the people in the football section think
8 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhy do people believe flat out ludicrous things about Obama?
So I never like to get involved in internet politics (mainly because it gets no one anywhere most of the time) but I was just wondering what some people think. What I am talking about is that I was watching fox news (yes I admit that was my 1st mistake) and they were talking about how "Obama gave money to the Islamic brotherhood" and I was thinking about that and then the "he wasn't born in america" bullshit as well. And I am not even gonna talk about how wrong those two statements were, but I was wondering what you people think about that.
4 AnswersGovernment8 years agoHow well do you think the 49ers will do next season?
I have my beliefs and honestly I see them as the best team in football for the 3rd year in a row, that's right ravens fans and giants fan (who's team never should have won that game and yes I am still mad about that)
