it's that time of year when everyone is making last minute decisions about which school they'd like to attend, and i need a bit of help with my decision.

i'll be studying public health at slu or i-health at uiuc. i liked slu's campus more, but i'm assuming that uiuc has more opportunities because it's such a large school. slu has excellent financial aid, but i also got into uiuc's james scholar program.

really it comes down to what will help me in the long run - graduating with less debt at slu (and it's a big difference) or studying as an honors student with the potential for some great networking?

For my AP World Class we're doing a role play of the different options available to the US, moving forward in Afghanistan. I'm supposed to argue for withdrawing from Afghanistan from Afghanistan's point of view. However, I don't quite know what Afghanistan's views are on American withdrawal. Could somebody give me a general idea or maybe some websites?

alrighty - i'm going to try and give you all as many details as i can, let me know if you need more.

i have 8 male guppies in a 10 gallon tank. all other seven seems to be doing perfectly fine, it's just this one guppy that just hovers. he's new - i've only had him for 4 days. the first two days he would swim around and have fun, but for the last two days he hasn't really been moving, and nor has he eaten. right now he's moving around nicely, but it looks like he's shivering and gasping for air.

is he on his way out and is there nothing left for me to do? or can i help him out in some way?

i have to go to a retro bollywood diwali party. i need to dress up as an old actress, as well as do a dance for them. what were some of the fashions in the 70's and how can i create that look today?

so - i'm looking into getting some pet fish but i'm not sure how i want to go about doing it. when i was younger i kept a few fish without any big fanfare, in a normal tank, no special heating or filtration or aeration or anything and they all lasted for the *longest* time. just recently i bought a betta fish and put it in a tank with all that stuff - and it lasted about a week. granted, it could have come sick from the store but still...

if i just want one betta or maybe a few guppies do i need all that fanfare?

have you had better results with or without all that stuff?

i want a pet, but i don't know what to get. i've always wanted a pet and my family and i have been able to find some fault or the other with every pet that i've ever looked into getting. dogs/cats are too big for our house. my mom doesn't like reptiles or rodents. apparently, rabbits smell. birds are loud. and we bought 4 fishes and they died way too quickly - so i'm afraid of getting new ones. any ideas on pets that i could get?

how much would basically everything for an aquatic turtle cost? from the turtle itself, to the tank, to the lighting, to filtration, the cleaning, to decoration? i'm trying to figure out if i can even afford to get a turtle or not.

so i've got typical indian black hair. I've got bangs and it goes down to about mid back. I want to do something different with it. No perms, no major cutting. What color would you recommend for dying or for highlights? i think brown highlights on indians looks kinda..idk...already done way too many times. any other ideas?

i'm indian - i've got typical black, curly hair. i'd love to do something interesting with my hair - i figured what about highlights? my mom puts mehendi on to hide her white hair and dye it red instead - so it looks like she has red highlights by strand. what effect would henna have on my black hair? would i get any highlights?

so can someone please explain to me the process to go through to get a permit and then a license. I'm totally lost! what age do i take driver's ed at? at what age am i eligible for a license? HELP?!

Everything I've seen so far tells me that they're both flowering plants - but what's a visible difference? i need to go outside and get one of each...

so i've decided to wear this dress to a party my friends having (a hollywood theme, btw) but the problem is that this dress is incredibly simple. all it is is a completely plain grey-blue silk cowl neck dress. no beading, no work, no nothing. so how can i dress it up? I was going to do no necklace and huge earrings? would that work? what kind of shoes? and should i wear bracelets?
