I am 9 weeks pregnant, starting to gain a little, delaying hair appointment just to wait till 3 months to be safe so not looking of feeling sexy right now. My husband has been very supportive and this was a planned pregnancy. All until tonight when he said to me that he wanted to go out for drinks with a woman he use to work with, but can't go because i wont let him. He tried to pull the guilt on to me on something I know for sure he wouldn't except me doing. All because I am pregnant, I feel that he has the power in the relationship and is trying to upset me. He always told me that males and females can't be plutonic friends and he is contradicting himself. I feel hurt that he already knew how I felt about being alone with the kids especially while he has drinks with another lady. I like drinking myself and the sacrifices that we make for a healthy baby just gets me so mad when i try to do the right thing and i am so stressed out now i feel like drinking so badly.

Bed time is always a struggle now. At 19months we had a good routine of putting my son to bed, put the pj's on/bath, gave him a bottle of milk around 9:00 and he drifted off to sleep. Very rarely waking through the night. Since he started teething again and having big growth spurts, he was awakening all the time. We had him sleeping with us a few times but now we can't kick the habit. We tried the "crying it out" way and he'd cry for an hour and continuing, very distressed and standing up in his cot. Tried many times hoping he'd wear himself out with crying but he just doesn't seem to stop and it kills me to hear him so sad for so long. I don't know what to do. We still have a routine now but he sleeps with us. I am a single mum and even if we get him into a habit, when he is at his fathers he gets insecure and cries for mama.He ends up having him in his bed too.

Should I make the transition later on and let him continue staying in our beds or will it only make it harder. Through the night he constantly yells out for mama. If I don't respond he reaches out to feel my head. If I am not there or don't respond he goes into hysterics. Any suggestions please? Thank you

Hi, I was hoping to start growing my own chicken seed such as wheat, sun flour seeds and corn. Could some one help me out of what times of year to start planting and any other advice they could include would be a bonus thanks. We have a big back yard with slightly sandy soil, (Melb). Was hoping to give it a go this year. I have the potatos already in :)

Hi we have just noticed in the past week that our lights flicker every 15mins. We have noticed it more at night time and haven't bought any new electrical appliances. Could some one be growing hydoponics in the area. If so, could this be the cause of it? Thanks

I never thought I would feel like this but I am going through a lot of anxiety. It's been a year since we seperated and we have a young 17month child. I haven't really been on the dating scene much with a toddler running around and working full time.My ex clearly stated to me that he had moved on and seeing someone. I don't have any feelings for my ex it's just that I never thought I would be the one alone and him happy again in a relationship.I start to get down thinking that i am going to be an old madam and never re marry or have anymore kids. I was just wondering how any other divorced people felt when their partners moved on and if they were still single or found a partner. Thank you

Hi I'm about to buy a 2 person kayak, probably a sea kayak as I would like to fish from it. Was wondering if the Malibu or the Prowler brand was better. It looks like the hull is a lot more defined in the Prowler so I was thinking it could handle the waves a little better. Any recommendations or advice would be great. And Just one other thing, I have never been out in deep water before in one, if you happen to capsize, how do you end up getting back in? Thank you for your help.

Just lately my 17month year old boy has been throwing the worst tantrums.If he doesn't get his way he throws his head back, stomps and kicks his feet, balls his eyes out and just keeps going and going.Today it lasted an hour.I tried the ignoring him but it didn't work, distracting him with his fav cartoons, but nothing worked. How do you deal with this behavior? Will it tone down in time? I gave him milk in the end and after throwing the bottle at me a few times he calmed down and was normal again.

I have a 71/2 month old baby boy. He can lean up and lift himself up and balance. I was wondering if he had much further to go for walking? Would like to know the average time for most babies...

How long did it take for you to loose the baby weight and how many pounds did you gain during pregnancy. I am exercising my behind off as well as having a very lean diet. I see a lot of ladies who have 2 year olds have their slim figure back. I was wondering if it really takes that long? I had a baby 8wks ago.i put on 48lbs during pregnancy. Only lost at total of 18lbs after birth and currently..Any ideas? I did breast feed for a short time.

My cat brought a baby bird to me. The wings haven't developed properly yet and I have no idea where he came from. It's night time now and te baby bird is sleeping in a box and I put a thick rag in their to keep him warm. Any ideas on what I can do next. I can't bare to see the little thing die. He is un harmed. Can I feed him slugs tomorrow morning? How do I give him water? any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Well I have a 7week old and he has his only cousin who is a 15months old. A complete out of control, hyper active terror. (only spoilt child) with no discipline. He pulls on the blinds and climbs on everything, knocks things over and doesn't pick them up. Throws tantrums if he doesn't get what he wants and smashed remote controls on the floor to get the batteries out. His parents do nothing. They are my husbands side and they will be coming to the house a lot now I have a little one. I fear for my babies life when I see this menis of a child.If I say anything to the parents, they get defensive very easily and don't really want to start conflict in the family but if this boy keeps up this behavior, we'll be seeing him on "most wanted" in years to come!! What can I do so he doesn't destroy our house or corrupt my son?

I find by just going to the shops and leaving my 7week old with my mother or partner, I start to miss him. I will be entering the work force in the next month and fear I may get very emotional whist at work when I think of my baby. Did that happen to most working mums and how long did it last? Thanks

My boy is no where near his birth date just yet but I keep imagining his first birthday and having relatives over and a nice cake..What did you do for your little one?

I am having a panic attack as I had sex with my partner at 7wks after I had my baby and the condom got sucked in (sorry if tmi) If I take a pregnancy test in 4 weeks time, will it be accurate considering I may still have the hormones in my body? I stopped breast feeding last week. thanks.

Oh golly gosh. What have I gotten myself into. I had a sexless pregnancy considering my partner was turned off by it and now that bubs is 7wks old, we finally had a spare minute to have a little fun.. Sorry if TMI ..Well I was using condoms as our use of contraception and I had never had this experience in my life but the condom got sucked up inside me..I stopped breast feeding last wk. Is there a high chance of being pregnant or is it too early? I can't sleep or eat. I want to have more kids one day but I'm still getting over my little handful at the moment.Abortion is out of the question....Thank you.

I'm a little concerned. I just changed him and it was pastey a different colour to bright yellow. I have just weaned him on complete formula with out any of my milk yesterday. Could this have anything to do with it? His last stool before the green/grey was a brightish green. Please is this normal?
